    Abstract: A pest repellent article for dispensing a repellent composition to a receptacle or area to be protected is disclosed. The pest repellent article comprises an outer cover and an inner porous removable pest repellent composition carrier member. The repellent composition carrier is formed of a compact absorbent structure and is impregnated with a volatile pest repellent composition. The outer cover or envelope completely encloses the repellent composition carrier member and is formed of a flexible, puncturable, tearable material substantially impermeable to the repellent composition and the vapors thereof. The outer cover is releasably sealed about the inner porous pest repellent composition carrier member and can be opened to remove the inner porous repellent composition carrier member. The inner porous pest repellent composition carrier member is releasably sealed whereby the composition carrier member can be opened to release the volatile repellent composition carrier.

The front of the hinge arm is directly or by an intermediate member indirectly engageable into the mounting plate, and the rear of the hinge arm has a tilting lever at which a hook member is formed by which the tilting lever is lockable to the mounting plate. When a door is mounted to the body of an article of furniture, the hinge arm can be engaged into the mounting plate and then fastened thereto simply by applying pressure. Canting of the hinge arm at the mounting plate is prevented.

    Abstract: A method of producing a reinforced duct structure for use with turbo-fan aircraft engines and the like. The duct is first cut from a flat metal sheet in a predetermined pattern. The sheet is rolled to form a tubular or conic structure of the approximate desired configuration and welded along the open seam. The welded tubular structure is then expanded to the exact required shape. The expanded tubular structure is cut out in selected areas to form a tubular grid structure. A tubular liner conforming to the inner surface of the tubular grid structure is installed and bonded to the grid structure forming an integral tubular structure of the desired configuration and strength and; attachment of any required mating flanges and structure bosses to the integral tubular structure.

    Abstract: Cabinet hinge whose mounting plate serving for the adjustable attachment of the carcase-related part of the hinge to the carcase of a cabinet is composed of two parts, i.e., of a bottom plate and a top plate. The bottom plate has in its outer end adjacent the door at least one hook rising from the plane in which it is fastened to the carcase and pointing outwardly, which can engage an associated eye in the bottom of the upper plate. The confronting surfaces of engagement between the hook and the eye are of complementary configuration and at least approximately arcuate with the centers of the arcs coinciding approximately with the center of the angular displacement described by the hinge in the first part of its closing movement relative to the door-related part of the hinge. A spring catch mechanism with a handle is provided in the bottom plate for the purpose of the releasable attachment of the top and bottom plates to one another.

On the margin of the sector-shaped portion of the flange there are provided integral guiding lugs which are bent downwardly at right angles into the interior of the cylindrical mortise and which center the insert cup in the proper installed position and secure it against displacements in the plane of the door leaf.

    Abstract: A control mechanism for a door of a motor vehicle is described that is actuated via an inside and outside handle and comprises a piston-cylinder unit arranged between a door post and the vehicle door. The control mechanism is equipped with a blocking valve controlling the medium flow, this blocking valve being arranged in a control circuit connecting the two working chambers of the cylinder, acting against the flow direction. The cylinder has at least one overflow duct between the two working chambers, the flow-through of which is controlled by the piston of the unit.     Abstract: A printed circuit board includes a pair of mounting openings for a connector member comprising a strip of electrically conducting material having a pair of oppositely oriented concave legs joined in a convex head. Each of the legs has an end abutting the circuit board and a narrower foot extending through one of the openings and soldered to the printed circuit on the opposite side of the board in a wave soldering process. The spacing of the mounting openings is less than that of the ends of the legs of the unbiased connector member so that the latter must be pinched closed to be mounted on the board and is positively retained thereon until soldered. The spacing also maintains the concave legs of the mounted connector member in contact with each other at their point of closest approach for controlled retention of a mating connecting member shaft but separated at the ends so that no molten solder wicks therebetween by capillary action in the wave soldering process.
