In a case where no insert-sheets are present in a sheet-feeding port for insert-sheets when the printing mechanism feeds the insert-sheets from the sheet-feeding port for insert-sheets, the controller selects another sheet-feeding port different from the sheet-feeding port for insert-sheets as a new sheet-feeding port for insert-sheets on the basis of a paper specification of paper used for printing data to be printed and a sheet-feeding port setting.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a superpixel classification method based on semi-supervised K-SVD and multiscale sparse representation. The method includes carrying out semi-supervised K-SVD dictionary learning on the training samples of a hyperspectral image; using the training samples and the overcomplete dictionary as the input to obtain the multiscale sparse solution of superpixels; and using the obtained sparse representation coefficient matrix and overcomplete dictionary to obtain the result of superpixel classification by residual method and superpixel voting mechanism. The proposing of the present invention is of great significance to solving the problem of salt and pepper noise and the problem of high dimension and small samples in the field of hyperspectral image classification, as well as the problem of how to effectively use space information in classification algorithm based on sparse representation.
Abstract: An image handling apparatus is disclosed, including an operation panel, hardware resources, a transferring part, and an image generation controlling part. The transferring part transfers image handle information input at the input screen to an external apparatus. Abstract: A metadata generation system utilizes machine learning techniques to accurately describe content of videos based on multi-model predictions. In some embodiments, multiple feature sets are extracted from a video, including feature sets showing correlations between additional features of the video. The feature sets are provided to a learnable pooling layer with multiple modeling techniques, which generates, for each of the feature sets, a multi-model content prediction. In some cases, the multi-model predictions are consolidated into a combined prediction. Keywords describing the content of the video are determined based on the multi-model predictions (or combined prediction). An augmented video is generated with metadata that is based on the keywords.

Abstract: A method for creating a machine-readable code for a custom cut stock is disclosed. Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a power supply switch, a display, a light-emitting unit, and a controller. The power supply switch is used to perform a control function. The display is such that a time from switching on of the power supply switch until occurrence of a screen change is long and a user is likely to fail to correctly recognize a switching-on state. The light-emitting unit is switched on in a time until the screen change occurs. Abstract: In an image processing apparatus, a protection-target document sheet determining portion determines whether or not a protection-target image is included in a read image that is obtained by an image reading device, the protection-target image satisfying a predetermined protection condition. An operation detection sensor detects a removal operation of removing the document sheet from the document sheet support portion. An image output device executes a read image output process that includes printing the read image or outputting data of the read image to outside. A control device, in a case where it has been determined that a protection-target image is included in the read image, causes the image output device to execute the read image output process only after the removal operation is detected after the image is read from the document sheet.
