Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product allows users to manage brand interaction with other users. In one aspect, a plurality of social user records and a plurality of commercial user records, corresponding to a plurality of social users and a plurality of commercial users, respectively, are stored on a data storage module. A plurality of brand identifiers is also stored on the data storage module, wherein each brand identifier identifies a brand associated with a commercial user. A plurality of social user pages are generated, wherein each social user page displays content based on a social user record belonging to corresponding social user. Each social user page is controllable by the social user to be accessible to a set of selected users of interest to that social user. The content displayed by the social user page is controllable by the social user to maintain the social user's anonymity.

Abstract: Methods and systems for using a robot to interact in a social media includes receiving a request for registering the robot in the social media from a user. In response to the request, user profile of the user is retrieved. The user profile of the user identifies privileges assigned to the user for interacting in the social media. The robot is paired to the user account of the user by generating a second user account for the robot in the social media and assigning, to the robot, a subset of the privileges associated with the user account. The privileges allow the robot to access the social interactions available in the user account and to generate social interactions on behalf of the user, which are then posted to the social media for the user.

Abstract: Identification information related to a device may be received that includes user information and device information. Based on the user information, a user entry corresponding to the user information may be located in a database of user records. It may be determined that the device information is not found in the user entry. A plurality of sales attributes may be determined in response. Those may include at least one of (1) a release date of the device and a purchase date indicating when the user purchased the device, and (2) a release price of the device and a current price of the device at the purchase date. Based on the information, a purchase metric may be computed and the device information stored in the previously purchased device field of the entry. Based on the purchase metric, a purchase metric threshold may be generated for recommending another device to the user.

Abstract: An on-line job application process that encourages participants to provide as much information as possible before drop-offs occur, by requesting access to authentication information such as social network identity, and moving an Applicant Tracking System login step to near the end. If a drop off does occur, a dummy email address can then be associated with the user to enable subsequent follow up.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a plurality of candidate entities for recommendation to a user of a social networking system. A predicted activity objective value model configured to calculate activity stores for candidate entities is established. The activity score is indicative of the probability of future activity on the social networking system by a candidate entity. A first activity score is determined for each of the plurality of candidate entities based on the predicted activity object value model and a first set of feature values. A second activity score is determined for each of the plurality of candidate entities based on the predicted activity object value model and a second set of feature values that is different from the first set of feature values. A first entity is selected of the plurality of candidate entities based on the first and second activity scores.

Abstract: Techniques for automatically suggesting one or more employment positions are provided. A method may include receiving, by a computing device, candidate data relating to an employment position candidate. The computing device may then match the employment position candidate with one or more employment positions based on the received candidate data. Once the employment position candidate is matched with the one or more employment positions, the computing device may generate one or more suggested employment positions for the employment position candidate, wherein the one or more suggested employment positions are automatically generated based on the matching of the employment position candidate with the one or more employment positions.

Abstract: Employers or recruiters populate an online database with job postings. The concepts that job applicants need to have learned to be successful applicants for a job are stated or inferred from the job posting and optionally resumes of others who have held that job. A student's own learning activities are logged by an online education platform. From a comparison between the student's completed learning units and a job posting's required learning units, a personalized learning unit gap can be identified for a student. The online education platform can then recommend how the student can fill the gap by undertaking the study of learning units on the education platform.

Abstract: A method to automatically process social media data includes capturing captured data, describing actions and/or context relating a user across multiple social media systems. The captured data is stored within a database. One or more interfaces are provided in order to provide access to the stored captured data. A rules database is configured to store multiple social media rules (e.g., behaviors) that may be associated with a user. A behavior engine is configured to perform autonomous activities, on behalf of a user with respect to multiple social media platforms, based on the social medial rules and/or the captured data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for grouping job postings for presentation to a user in response to a search. A method includes determining the closest-matching groups of jobs for a user and presenting a display such that the closest-matching jobs are viewable within the groups. For each group, a server determines a group affinity based on a group characteristic and a user characteristic and affinities of jobs for that group based on the job postings and the group characteristic. The server ranks the groups for the user based on the group affinity score for each group, and ranks the job postings within each group based on the jobs affinity to the user. Some of the groups and job postings are presented to the user based on the ranking.

Abstract: A mapping between private information to be protected and identifier information for an object is recorded. The object is detected by analyzing sensor data received from a sensor device within a private computer network, in which the object has one or more attributes associated therewith. An analysis report is generated about the object by excluding the private information from the analysis report based on the mapping, in which the analysis report includes a non-private part of the one or more attributes. The analysis report is transmitted to a remote computer system located outside the private computer network without the private information.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a requestor, a request for an on-demand identity product in relation to an identity of a consumer, the request comprising personally identifying information (PII) of the consumer. The method also includes executing, using the PII, a partial registration of the consumer for the on-demand identity product, the partial registration omitting satisfaction of at least one security requirement. The method additionally includes determining whether delayed authentication is enabled for the on-demand identity product. Weighted values are determined for the identified items using a dimension reduction technique, and a probability score is calculated for each of the obtained current candidate resumes based on selection data associated with the obtained past candidate resumes. A keyword score is calculated for each of the obtained current candidate resumes based on a presence of one or more keywords associated with the role in the obtained current candidate resumes. A final candidate score is generated for each of the obtained current candidate resumes based on the keyword score and the calculated probability score, and the generated final candidate scores are output in association with the obtained current candidate resumes to a user interface.
