The exerciser of the current invention is convenient, flexible, easy to control, and is easy to perform alternate movements of the hands and legs. It does not damage the floor, carpet or ground, and is very appropriate for indoor application.
Abstract: An elliptic-orbit treadmill has a front-end drive portion and a middle drive portion configured on the front end of the pedal, the middle drive portion being pivotally linked to the bottom end of the handle bar on the same side. Each transmission bar set includes a transverse connecting rod and a vertical connecting rod pivotally connected to each other in an elbow style, the rear end of the transverse connecting rod being pivotally connected to the middle section of the handle bar on the same side, while the bottom end of the vertical connecting rod being pivotally connected to the front-end drive portion of the pedal on the same side. The crank provided on the transverse driven shaft at the center of the flywheel is pivotally connected to the middle section of the transverse connecting rod provided on the transmission bar set on the same side.
Abstract: The sit-up foot anchor includes a door bumper that includes a planar section that extends over to a pair of footholds. The pair of footholds is parallel with one another, and are hemi-cylindrical cavities adapted to receive a foot of an end user therein. The planar section is adapted to be positioned underneath a door, and the door bumper is adapted to be positioned on a first side of said door whereas the pair of footholds is adapted to be positioned on a second side of said door. In use, the device utilizes said door in order to securely hold feet of said end user while said end user conducts a sit-up.
Abstract: A walking assistance device configured to permit the independent movement of an individual via simulated weight reduction is described. The device is configured to partially suspend a portion of a user's weight via a seat-lifting system, facilitating the movement of a user with experiencing difficulty walking without assistance. The system of the device preferably employs a seat, a hydraulic or electric seat-lift mechanism, a seat restraint, a frame, wheels, a brake system, and a power source. The seat-lift mechanism is configured to rise and lower the seat, enabling the user to control the percentage of weight lifted, while the feet of the user remain in partial contact with the floor. The frame forms the structure and support of the device, and is configured to move laterally via wheels on the bottom of the frame of the device.
Abstract: A bicycle trainer includes a roller support assembly and a roller positioned about the roller support assembly wherein the roller includes an aperture. A fixing member is disposed in the aperture to secure the roller to the roller support assembly allowing rotation of the roller. An element capable of being sensed disposed in the aperture and a sensor is positioned within the trainer at a stationary location wherein the sensor is configured to sense the element and provide a signal indicative of rotation of the roller.
Abstract: A muscle development system comprising a clip (10) for attaching a resilient band to a fixed point; and a sleeve (16) for fitting round a body cylinder, for example arm or leg or torso. The sleeve (16) has at least one attachment device for allowing attachment of the resilient band (14) to the sleeve. The clip (10) has a body part (22) shaped to allow the resilient band (14) to be spirally or helically wound round it.
