Abstract: A decorative add-on in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is structured and arranged to be attached to an article such as a shoe. The decorative add-on includes an aesthetic portion and an attachment portion. Typically, the aesthetic portion is prominently or noticeably 3D. The attachment portion is removably attached to the shoe. The attachment portion has a medial section, and two elongate insert sections at opposite sides of the medial section. The medial section is fixed to an inner side of the aesthetic portion. The insert sections are slidingly engaged in two matching elongate sheaths provided on the shoe. The attachment portion can be made of flexible resilient material. This facilitates convenient insertion of the insert sections into the sheaths, and secure retention of the insert sections in the sheaths. Further or alternatively, the insert sections can include magnetic material and flexible, resilient material.

Abstract: A banner stand for connecting a banner is disclosed. The banner stand includes a frame structure having a plurality of poles and a plurality of coupling joints. The plurality of poles and the plurality of coupling joints interconnect forming a banner receiving area. Each of the coupling joints has a plate facing the banner receiving area. Each plate has a hole. The frame structure includes an elastic cord drawn through the plurality of poles and the plurality of coupling joints to maintain a sequential order. The banner stand includes spike members connecting at the bottom of the frame structure. The spike members go into the ground and help to position the frame structure in an upright position. The banner receiving area receives the banner. The frame structure includes a banner attachment cord drawn through the holes in the plates for connecting the banner.

Abstract: A method is provided for tracking and/or locating a delivery item. A first delivery-item transport equipment label is temporarily attached to a bracket, wherein the bracket includes a main body with a first identifier permanently attached to the bracket and a second identifier comprising a radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip permanently attached to the bracket. The first delivery-item transport equipment label and at least one of the first identifier and the second identifier are scanned to associate the first delivery-item transport equipment label with at least the RFID chip. The RFID chip is scanned during use of a delivery-item transport equipment to which the bracket is attached. A location of the first delivery-item transport equipment label is identified based on the scanning of the RFID chip.

Abstract: A multimedia business card having a housing, a display, a speaker, a battery, and circuitry for operating the same is provided. In one embodiment, the housing includes a plurality of panels, scores, and joints, including a cover panel and a front panel that includes an aperture. The panels and joints can be folded and secured to form an enclosed (rectangular) housing. The display, speaker, battery, and circuity are secured inside, with the display being visible to a user via the aperture. The housing should open like a book (with a cover opening from right to left), exposing the display to the user, where the opening of the cover triggers the playing of video and/or sound (e.g., via a magnetic switch). For ease of manufacturing, the housing may be constructed from a single piece of material, preferably cardboard or a heavy paper-based product.

Abstract: Greeting devices are described herein. In some embodiments, the greeting device can include an elongate body having a first end portion defining a chamber, and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. A message module can be positioned at least partially within the chamber. The greeting device can further include a first arm pivotably coupled to a first side of the body, and a second arm pivotably coupled to a second side of the body opposite the first side. An actuation mechanism can be operably coupled to the body. When actuated, the actuation mechanism can be configured to: (i) pivot the first and second arms relative to the body in a first direction toward the message module; and (ii) move the message module in a first direction from the chamber to extend at least partially beyond the body.

Abstract: In general, the disclosure is directed to a temporary maintenance sign for a toilet including a first adherence mechanism and a second adherence mechanism, such as a suction cup or a locking suction cup that includes a pressure lever. The temporary maintenance sign further includes a flexible body that connects to the first adherence mechanism on a first end of the flexible body and connects to the second adherence mechanism on a second end of the flexible body. The flexible body may be made out of a semi-rigid metal, a semi-rigid plastic, a semi-rigid fiberglass, a semi-rigid rubber, a flexible metal, a flexible plastic, a flexible fiberglass, or a flexible rubber, among other things.

Abstract: The invention discloses an internal functional device for simulative snowfall, comprising a lampshade installing a lamp cover and an air blower on the top and bottom thereof, and a transparent sheet framework at upper part thereof with a foam particle dispersion net and an air guide elbow at the right-side upper end thereof, wherein the side part of the air blower is connected to an air guide slot with a material collecting slot having upper and lower hose clamps at left-side upper and lower ends as well as air guide tubes at right-side upper end in the upper end thereof. The device effectively pushes foam particles therein to move, making them convey onto the upper part of the foam particle dispersion net through the air guide tubes and further freely fall into the material collecting slot slowly in a circulating mode.

A zippered PVC transparent window affixed to the web of the shipping tab allows the courier shipping label or air bill to be easily scanned and read. A buckled strap permits the neck portion to be secured to the baggage handle.

Abstract: The NOVELTY DISPLAY PLATFORM discloses a display platform for illuminating a display chamber. The platform includes a base unit containing a light source. The base unit is configured with a stage to support a display chamber. The base unit further includes an opening configured to receive a light conduit. The light conduit is configured to redirect light from the light source contained in the base unit to illuminate the display chamber. The display chamber may contain a transparent sheet bearing an image and/or be filled with a suspension of reflective particles. The a light source may be color changing and/or support various display modes, and may be controlled by a remote.

Abstract: Systems and method for vehicle top advertising are provided. Cross bars span a roof of the vehicle. A vehicle top unit with an electronic display is attached to the cross bars. One or more exterior coverings are connected to at least one of: the cross bars and the vehicle top unit. Wiring is extended from a power source located outside of the vehicle top unit, along at least one of the cross bars, and to the vehicle top unit to place the electronic display in electrical connection with the power source. The exterior coverings each cover at least a respective portion of the wiring.

Abstract: A safety sign device is for a vehicle. The safety sign device may include a hinge being coupled a side of the vehicle, and an arm. The arm may include an elongate base, an electric motor coupled to the elongate base, an elongate housing coupled to the elongate base, and visual indicators carried by the elongate housing. The safety sign device may also include a sign coupled to the arm and being parallel to the arm. The hinge may include a pin, and a link assembly coupled between the pin and the electric motor and being rotatable about the pin. The electric motor may be configured to extend and retract the arm between a retracted position and an extended position.

Abstract: A license plate assembly includes a backing and a flexible license plate. The flexible license plate includes plural layers, including a licensing-information layer, in which ink is deposited in the form of alphanumeric characters on an underlying one of the plural layers, the alphanumeric characters providing license information. The flexible license plate optionally includes one or more holograms, and/or watermarks, and/or QR-codes. The flexible license plate is disposed on the backing, which extends beyond the perimeter of the flexible license plate, defining a marginal region. In some embodiments, plural indices are disposed in the marginal region to facilitate alignment of flexible license plate during installation thereof on a motor vehicle.

Abstract: A printed sign that includes a material printed with visual content. The material is rectangular and folded along an x-axis forming a first part and a second part. Prior to the folding, the x-axis divides the material horizontally and a y-axis divides the material vertically. A u-stake is oriented at the x-axis of the material in contact with an inner surface of the first part and an inner surface of the second part. The visual content appears on an outer surface of the first part and on an outer surface of the second part. Either the first part or the second part comprises an even number of sets of holes and a u-stake is threaded through each hole of the even number of the sets of holes and the third portion is oriented adjacent to the x-axis of the material.

Abstract: An image system can comprise a sheet of clear thermoplastic material formed to define an interior space configured for disposal of an image or a three-dimensional object. The sheet can comprise a substrate upon which an image can be directly printed or otherwise attached. The image system can comprise two or more panes that meet at a vertex along a corner or are oriented at an angle relative to one another. The vertex can be formed using a tool in combination with selective heating and cooling of the thermoplastic material. The image can extend across at least two of the panes. The image system can comprise a mount configured to deter theft or tampering. Connectors can be utilized to connect two or more image systems to one another.

Abstract: A frame system according to one embodiment includes a hollow outer frame element that includes a plurality of recesses formed along inner faces of walls of the outer frame element. The outer frame element further includes a plurality of ribs formed along the inner face and an inner landing that protrudes inwardly into a center opening of the outer frame element. The frame system also includes a back plate configured for insertion into the center opening. The back plate includes a plurality of locking ribs for reception within the plurality of recesses to generate a snap-fit attachment of the back plate to the hollow outer frame element.
