Abstract: A badge system for a shirt carrier or like body armor carrying includes an attachment panel and a badge flap removably attached to the attachment panel. A retention tab is located at the top of the attachment panel such that the top edge of the badge is sandwiched between the strap and the attachment panel to secure the badge to the carrier. The badge flap is printable and embroiderable or may be used a surface on which badges or other items can be attached. The badge flaps can be conveniently printed or embroidered in bulk, avoiding the difficulties associated with printing or embroidering directly on the shirt carrier.

Abstract: A foldable article having a sliceform removably secured to one or more panels of the foldable article. A tab having a retaining portion may extend from at least one of the one or more panels of the foldable article. The tab may pass through an opening in the sliceform and the retaining portion may be wider than the width of the opening. The retaining member may be manipulated to pass through the opening to removably secure the sliceform to, and/or detach the sliceform from, the foldable article.

Abstract: A method for adhering a label, lettering, ink, a tattoo, sketch, design or color (“indicia”) to a substrate comprising the steps of: providing an indicia-bearing backing paper; moistening the indicia-bearing backing paper to form a moistened indicia-bearing layer; providing an adhesive layer between the moistened indicia-bearing layer and the substrate; placing the moistened indicia-bearing layer on the adhesive layer; allowing the indicia to become separated from the backing paper, leaving the indicia upon the substrate; and drying on the substrate.

Abstract: A trim element having a display area defined by a display device, and an edge piece that includes a peripheral area extending around at least part of the display area, the peripheral area being at least partly translucent, the display area and the peripheral area forming at least a part of an outer surface of the trim element. The trim element further includes an illumination device arranged to illuminate the display device to display images on the display area. The illumination device has a luminous sheet extending at least facing the display area and the peripheral area of the edge piece.

Abstract: Systems and methods for exterior signage evaluation are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving images of an exterior signage area of an exterior surface of a first vehicle, the images being obtained by the first vehicle, a second vehicle camera or an infrastructure camera, determining current environmental conditions around the first vehicle, processing the images of the exterior signage area using the current environmental conditions, wherein processing includes comparing an expected appearance of the exterior signage area with an actual appearance of the exterior signage area to determine a visual appearance quality of the exterior signage area, and presenting a message on a display that includes the visual appearance quality.

Abstract: A smart display screen that is reversibly rigidly attachable to a door or panel of a semi truck trailer. The smart display screen is linked to a computer and wireless modem that is built into a special frame and cabinet that is reversibly rigidly attachable to a door or panel on a semi truck trailer. The smart display screen is used to display motion video advertisements and still frame advertisements that are seen by other drivers on the road or highway. The special frame and cabinet is reversibly rigidly attachable to a door or panel of a trailer using the special mechanical clamping mechanism which allows the smart display to be easily installed onto any existing trailer door or panel by simply cutting a rectangular hole in the trailer door or panel and then installing the special frame and cabinet.

Abstract: A signage system and method for providing information wirelessly to the signage system for display on digital monitors. The signage system includes a stand and at least one display mounted on the stand. The stand includes a base, an extension, and an A-frame mount connected to the top of the extension, the A-frame mount having a first face and a second face each extending upwards at an angle from the A-frame base. The first face and the second face are configured to receive digital monitors thereon. The signage system further includes additional faces on both the top and bottom portions for receiving multiple additional advertising displays.

Abstract: A label and related method of manufacture that includes a fabric made of yarn, in either cut individual singles or continuous ribbon format in any length. The yarn includes a fiber that has been recycled, that is recyclable, that is organic, that is biodegradable, and/or that can be derived from a material that is known to be environmentally friendly. The yarn, in one embodiment, may include a fiber defined as “high filament count” material, above the current industry standard of 24 filaments, being in the range of 72 to 96 to 144 filaments or higher per individual yarn, in any denier range of 30 denier to 150 denier thickness, in natural raw white, optical dyed white, or dyed colors. These yarns can be independent of each other.
