Abstract: Rings and containers for packaging of goods are provided. The containers include the rings. Each ring covers a top sidewall of a container. Moreover, each ring includes a first side and a second side. The first side extends along an outer portion of the top sidewall and the second side extends along an inner portion of the top sidewall. The first side extends farther down the top sidewall than the second side. The second side also includes an inside, which has ribs that adhere to the inner portion of the top sidewall. Furthermore, each rib has a hook or ridge.

Abstract: A dispenser for rectangular cans having a rectangular elongated box dimensioned to hold a plurality of the cans in a side-by-side relationship. The box includes a top panel, bottom panel, first end panel, second end panel, and two side panels. A dispensing opening is formed by perforations through the first end panel to allow a single can to be removed from the box. An elevation member is formed by perforations through the opposite end of the box for elevating the opposite end of the box relative to the first end panel.

Abstract: A cardboard box with four side panels, four bottom flaps and four top flaps is provided. Adjacent bottom flaps and adjacent top flaps are provided with living hinges so that the flaps may be stored adjacent the body of the box. Additionally, during loading the top flaps are held adjacent the body of the box to move the flaps out of the way and make the box more convenient to load. The hinges may be broken apart to allow the flaps to be moved to the closed and sealed position.

Abstract: A box formed from a single piece of punched and crease-lined cardboard sheet, the box having an inviolable security seal which is broken when the closed box is opened for the first time. The closed box presents a high resistance to deformation when subjected to external stresses.

Abstract: A blank for forming a carton of the end loading type for containing a plurality of beverage cans, the capacity of the carton can be increased to accommodate the insertion of ice-cubes into the carton for cooling the beverage cans contained therein, the blank for forming the carton, including a series of main panels including at least one top panel, one of the top panels having a tear strip and thereby being separable into two parts, the blank further including end extension panels, wherein upon constructing the blank into the set up carton, separating the top panel, by deploying the tear strip, allows each end extension panel and each of the separated parts of the top panel to be raised above the tops of the beverage cans to increase the capacity of the carton to accommodate the insertion of ice cubes.

Abstract: A container and its associated container blank for shipping and displaying products. The container blank includes a plurality of side panels, bottom panels, and top panels that are erectable into a fully enclosed shipping container. Formed in some of the side panels and some of the top panels are removable punch-out window panels. When removed, the punch-out window panels leave a top panel that defines a periphery around the “window” area. Various stacking tabs and slots are configured in the bottom panels. The stacking tabs and stacking slots are positioned such that when engaged and the containers are in a vertically stacked arrangement, the stacking tabs bias against a portion of the periphery of the top panel. When not engaged, the container has a flat bottom.

Abstract: A flexible board, for forming a package, comprises a body portion, a big bottom piece, a small bottom piece, a left-side bottom piece, and a right-side bottom piece. The body portion has a rear body piece, a left-side body piece, a front body piece, and a right-side body piece. The big bottom piece is connected to a lower side of the rear body piece. The small bottom piece is connected to a lower side of the front body piece, and has a strip piece, and first and second projecting pieces. The left-side bottom piece is connected to a lower side of the left-side body piece, and is formed with a cut-out section close to the first projecting piece. The right-side bottom piece is connected to a lower side of the right-side body piece, and is formed with a cut-out section close to the second projecting piece. The length of the insert piece is shorter than the distance between the first and second projecting pieces.

Abstract: An interior of the package box is partitioned by an intermediate partition plate into a first accommodation portion and a second accommodation portion. A small partition plate is folded into the package box to form a third accommodation portion. An instruction manual and a device body are accommodated in the first accommodation portion and the second accommodation portion, and a small article and the like are accommodated in the third accommodation portion. The small partition plate is prevented from unfolding open by an edge side of the first connection piece. Therefore, the small article and the like accommodated in the third accommodation portion do not move into the first accommodation portion. The third accommodation portion can be formed by a simple operation (inserting operation is unnecessary) only by folding the small partition plate into the package box.

Abstract: A reinforced fiberboard bulk materials container is provided that has low-fiber content and is humidity resistant. According to one embodiment, a fiberboard bulk materials container includes a plurality of fiberboard sidewalls forming a storage cavity and having a compression strength of 4 to 5 times the combined weight of cartons expected to be stacked above the bulk materials container, and a moisture-resistant polymer film wrapped around the outside of the sidewalls. The polymer film may substantially cover the sidewalls and extend from the top of the container to the bottom of the container along the sidewalls. A method for forming the bulk materials container includes stretch-wrapping the polymer film around the container sidewalls.

Abstract: An exemplary box includes two sleeves and a receptacle sleeved with the sleeves. Each sleeve includes a bottom wall, a top wall, and two sidewalls perpendicular to the top and bottom walls. The receptacle includes a rack and two blocking plates depending from the sidewalls. The rack includes a support disposed between the blocking plates and parallel to the bottom walls of the sleeves, two engaging flanges at opposite sides of the support, and two wings connecting the engaging flanges to the support respectively. The engaging flanges are secured to the top walls of the sleeves respectively, and the support and the wings are suspended in the sleeves.

Abstract: A paper box or carton includes front, rear and side panels with the upper portions of the side panels being configured to deform inwardly when the upper portions of said front and rear panels are brought together. In this way, a holding area is created between an inside face of a side panel and an inside face of the front panel. This holding area decreases in size as the front and rear panels are brought closer together. Each of the front and rear panels includes a flap adjacent the top portion thereof which are positionable in the holding area as the front and rear panels are moved toward each other. The flaps include distal edges that interlock with each other to maintain the upper portion of the front and rear panels together to form a closed tapered top.

Abstract: The present invention is a container for use in baking and shipping food items. The container is formed of a paperboard material and includes a heat-resistant coating applied to all of the interior surfaces of the container. The coating enables a number of food items to be positioned within the container in contact with the coating such that the container and food items can be baked to properly prepare the food items therein. After baking, the container and food items can then be wrapped or otherwise packaged for shipment without transferring the food items to a separate shipping container. The container also includes a pair of end walls that are movable with respect to the container between retaining and dispensing positions to enable the container to be configured as serving tray for the items contained therein.

Abstract: The present invention provides a container having a carton and a cover sized to fit over and enclose an interior space of the container. Carton and cover each are adapted to permit controlled flow of air in to and out of the interior space of the container. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, cover sidewalls are adapted to move between an open position and a closed position, wherein air is permitted to flow in to and out of the interior space of the container when the sidewalls are in an open position, but inhibited from flowing in to and out of the container when the sidewalls are in a closed position.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a carton for a diagonally cut sandwich or like foodstuff formed from a blank of card and having triangular end walls connected by rectangular side walls to form a triangular prism-shaped container. One side wall of the container is hinged to another wall of the container to provide an opening for insertion/removal of foodstuff and to form a lid for closing the opening. The edges of the opening have out-turned flanges and the periphery of the lid overlies the out-turned flanges encircling the opening when the lid is in the closed position whereby the lid can be bonded to the flanges to seal the contents of the carton.

Abstract: The invention is a shipping box and an internal holding device designed to transport a dental impression without damage or distortion by suspending the impression by it's handle inside the box so that it does not touch the interior walls of the box. The box, constructed of fiberboard or plastic is divided into a receptacle, where the internal holding device secures the handle of the impression, and a suspension area, where the body of the impression is suspended in mid-air. The interior holding device is comprised of two blocks into which the handle of the impression will imprint, securing the impression and preventing it from moving about during transport.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container comprising opposing top and bottom walls and four side walls each having an upper and lower ends, the opposing top and bottom walls and the four side walls bridging the opposing top and bottom walls. The top wall comprises a pivotable tab integrally extending from one transverse end of the top wall. A generally U-shaped indentation is formed on one of the four side walls to receive the pivotable tab therein. A dispensing opening is configured on the upper end of one of the four side walls. The dispensing opening and the pivotable tab cooperate with one another to define a pour spout. The pivotable tab is seated in the U-shaped indentation to cover the dispensing opening when the pour spout is in a closed position and the pivotable tab is detached from the dispensing opening when the pour spout is an open position.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shipping container, a paper tube, an end cap and a method. The shipping container includes a tube and an end cap. The tube has a cylindrical body and an open end. The cylindrical body has a mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end. The end cap includes a circular sidewall that is adapted to be received by the open end of the tube such that either the circular sidewall is surrounded by the cylindrical body or the cylindrical body is radially surrounded by the circular sidewall. The circular sidewall includes a projection that extends away from the circular sidewall and into the mounting opening so as to releasably secure the end cap to the tube.
