Abstract: A device, system and method are configured to attach a printed display and a flag therewith to a fence, rail and the like. The disclosure includes a flat stock substrate defining a point of insertion for a free-end of a mast of the flag. Two cutout arms form an I beam cross-section with the substrate and extend backward from the substrate by twisting and hang perpendicularly on a top rail or a side of the fence, the cutout arms each configured at an elbow thereof to wrap around a portion of the fence and down over a side thereof. Two cutout legs extend backward from the substrate by twisting in an upward arc perpendicular to the fence rail and join with the mast through an end of each leg triangulated between the extended cutout arms. Multiple substrates and printed displays may be ganged on a single mast.

Abstract: A flame simulator of an electric fireplace, including: a light source (1); a flame board (3); a flame projection screen (4); and a rotary drum (2); wherein the light source (1) is provided in the rotary drum (2); the rotary drum (2) is transparent and a light-concentrating block (20) is provided on a surface thereof; a flame pattern (31) is provided on the flame board (3); light concentrated by the light-concentrating block (20) is projected onto the flame board (3) and reflected by the flame board (3) to the flame projection screen (4) for forming a flame image. The flame is bright and has a sufficient dynamic effect. The rotary drum (2) and the light-concentrating block (20) can be made by injection molding for a simple structure and convenient production.

Abstract: A reconstructed wooden log has segments from the same log, each having opposing concentric arcuate ends and being fastened to adjacent segments with a spacer contacting effecting separation from each adjacent segment. A light source within a hollow interior defined by the arcuate interior ends emits light between the separations of the adjacent wood segments and around the spacers. Reconstruction of the original log includes separating the original log radially about its longitudinal axis into the segments, and removing a portion of each segment that was proximal the original log's longitudinal axis. The reconstructed log, having about the same length and width as that of the original log, can have electro-mechanics within and/or near its hollow interior to receive control signals and detect motion to initiate rotation of the log to reveal signage and other decorative embellishments illuminated by the light source, and/or render an audible report.

Abstract: A multiple indicia file flagging device provides a flag base having a side portion carrying an adhesive, and an opposing side portion carrying a flag pivot axle and locking pegs. A flag having a “T” configuration with a first vertical leg and a second leg pivotally engages with the flag pivot axle to pivot thereon between an inconspicuous position and a conspicuous position. Locking peg notches defined in the flag releasably engage with the locking pegs to secure the flag in the desired position. A transparent sleeve carried on the file flag opposite the pivot axle carries a removable and customizable second indicia tab such for communicating information to users.

Abstract: A fashion memorabilia includes a garment and an artistic design attached to or incorporated in the garment. The design is comprised of multiple common and uncommon elements relevant to an individual. The common elements are selected from known visual items associated with or anecdotal of the individual and the uncommon elements are created based upon the individual's personal history, accomplishments and interests, among others. A swatch of material from clothing worn by the individual can be incorporated with the design. Methods for preparing a fashion memorabilia having attributes of an individual are also disclosed.

Abstract: A sign waving apparatus that includes a base, a housing enclosing a motor, a frame support connecting the base and the housing, and a sign mount mechanically connected to a motor. The sign or signs attach to the surfaces of the sign mount. The sign mount moves relative to the housing in a variety of different motions.

Abstract: A physically-discrete sign component comprises an internally-electrically-illuminated alphabetic character having a front-facing profile and at least one connecting bar disposed at least substantially horizontally with respect to the front-facing profile of the alphabetic character and at least partially within the front-facing profile of that alphabetic character. By one approach the physically-discrete sign component includes two of the connecting bars. If desired, these two connecting bars are disposed at least substantially parallel to one another. By one approach, a first one of the connecting bars extends partially, but not wholly, above an upper periphery of the aforementioned front-facing profile while the second connecting bar extends partially, but not wholly, below a lower periphery of the front-facing profile. The connecting bars can include a connecting-bar interface configured to physically and electrically interconnect to an adjacent sign component.

Abstract: Three-dimensional lightweight foam greeting cards are described herein having a foam body with a perimeter wall that extends between two spaced apart parallel pieces of planar sheet material such as heavy gauge paper, cardboard, or other such material. The greeting cards have a partially hollowed foam body or one or more cavities in the foam body concealed in the front and back by the planar sheet material which may be pre-cut in the shape of the foam body are decorated consistent with the design of the foam body. The cavities in the foam body may contain various electronic components that enable the greeting card to produce sound, record and playback a personalized message, trigger light activation, trigger the movement of moveable parts, display digital video, photographs or slideshows, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A portable traffic sign and safety stand suitable for use directing traffic under changing conditions. The traffic sign may be rotated in the safety stand to change traffic direction to drivers. The safety stand may include safety features such as lighted signs on the sides. In addition, the safety stand is of suitable height for use for stretching, and may have amenities such as cup holders, storage compartments, hand-held radio holders, and hand-held sign holders.

Abstract: This invention relates to the field of advertising and information display. It can be used in the production of portable advertising and information media with flexible supports, transported easily, and installed quickly to display any visual information. The invention ensures high-quality and effective tensioning of the panel over the course of a long use period including multiple relocations. The device for presenting information comprises a panel mounted on a sectional frame with rotating edges of the panel mounted on the sides of the frame. Each of the rotatable edges consists of at least two layers: the panel itself and a facing applied to the panel in its pre-tensioned resiliently deformed state, thus retaining the tension of the panel material attached to the facing. The panel is mounted on a frame in a state of resiliently extended deformation and is fixed with edges supported in pairs on the frame.

Abstract: A tab status indicator system including a generally planar body portion and a tab coupled to the body portion and protruding generally outwardly therefrom. The system further includes an indicator movable between a deployed position, in which the indicator generally overlaps with the tab in a direction generally perpendicular to a plane of the body portion, and a retracted position, in which the indicator does not overlap with the tab or overlaps with the tab less than when the indicator is in the deployed position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to artwork preservation, and more particularly to an artwork preservation system that utilizes vacuum and is particularly suited to framed artwork. The artwork preservation system includes: a pair of corrugated planar members constructed and arranged to overlap a front side and back side of an artwork; at least one securing element, such as hook and loop fastener, for mating the first and second corrugated boards when the artwork is placed there between; a layer of air cushioning; and a sealable bag. The system may further include a vacuum pump for removing air from the sealable bag.

Abstract: A hang tag is generally provided, along with its methods of manufacture and use. In one embodiment, the hang tag includes a tag body and a keyring tab. The tage body generally defines a tag aperture positioned above an information surface, and a slot extends from an edge of the tag body to the tag aperture. The keyring tab is removeably positioned within the tag aperture defined by the tag body, and comprises a tab body defining a keyring aperture.

Abstract: An artifact frame comprised of a hollow container bordered on front, rear, left and right sides and bottom to define an interior cavity into which can be placed ornamental material. On the front or back panel, or side or bottom panels, the artifact to be displayed may be mounted. Any number of mounting configurations are contemplated to be within the scope of the invention. A top panel may also be provided, which may be partially or totally removable to permit access to the interior cavity for the mounting of the artifact and placement of the ornamental material.

Abstract: A shelf sign is designed for use with a conventional bookend that typically includes a horizontal plate for slipping beneath a book, and a U-shaped retainer vertically extending therefrom. The sign includes a planar display member having a pair of juxtaposed pockets formed therein. A first, wide pocket receives the U-shaped retainer on the bookend and a second, narrow pocket receives any one of a plurality of identification strips to describe a particular category to be displayed on a shelf. Accordingly, when a user positions the bookend next to a group of items in a conventional fashion, the identification strip is readily visible from either end of an aisle.

Abstract: A label holder and sign holder system for attachment along the front face of a merchandise display shelf. The label holder has a forwardly projecting, downwardly opening sign grip extending along its upper edge for receiving and gripping upper edges of sign cards, which can be positioned along the length of the label holder. A sign holder, which is narrow in relation to the label holder, has a mounting clip at its upper edge which snaps over the sign grip and releasably locks the sign holder to the label holder, while permitting the sign holder to be laterally adjusted along the label holder. The sign holder has a panel extending downward from the mounting clip and carrying a sign clip for displaying a sign at right angles to the label holder. When no sign is displayed, the sign holder can be left in position or moved to an inconspicuous location.
