Abstract: A grass protection mat comprises a body where grass passing spaces are continuously arranged and an outer frame comprising four frames formed in four directions to finish an outer edge of the body, wherein the grass protection mat further comprises at least one hook fastener which horizontally protrudes from a first lateral frame of the outer frame toward a second lateral frame of an outer frame of a neighboring grass protection mat, and wherein the at least one hook fastener is fastened to at least one fastening hole provided in the outer frame of the second grass protection mat adjacent to the first lateral frame and corresponding to the hook fastener of the grass protection mat.
Abstract: A trenching assembly used to cut a narrow trench in the ground surface. The trenching assembly comprises an attachment frame connected to a hood assembly via a linkage assembly. The attachment frame may be attached to the rear end of a work machine. A rotatable blade is disposed within a cavity defined by the hood assembly. The hood assembly may rotate about two different axes relative to the linkage assembly, and the linkage assembly may rotate about two different axes relative to the attachment frame. The trenching assembly uses a pair of accumulators to hydraulically rotate the linkage assembly about a horizontal axis relative to the frame in response changes in depth of the ground surface being cut by the blade. The linkage assembly may be hydraulically rotated using the accumulators without input from the operator.
Abstract: The selective positioning of row units along a planter tool bar is facilitated by introducing an elongated channel of generally C-shaped cross-sectional configuration intermediate the tool bar and a plurality of row unit head brackets. The channel is welded or otherwise fixed to the tool bar with the open edge of the “C” facing away from the tool bar and the head brackets are fixed to the channel by clamping nut and bolt assemblies. The bolts extend through the clamping brackets and engage corresponding clamping nuts. The clamping nuts are positioned within the “C” and may be slid along the inner edge of the channel to any preferred position. The bolts are then and tightened fixing the head bracket at the selected at location.

Abstract: A device for moving a jet member (6) having a nozzle comprises a carriage (4) with a base portion (5) to which the jet member is connected. The carriage is movable in a substantially rectilinear first path along a guide member (3). The connection of the jet member to the base portion provides a movability of the jet member (6) with respect to the base portion (5) and by that said carriage comprising a movability of the jet member for moving an impact point of the jet in a second path perpendicularly to said first path. A control unit is controlling a driving arrangement to combine a movement of the carriage along the guide member (3) and a movement of the jet member with respect to the base portion of the carriage so as to make an impact point of the jet on a said layer to travel with a constant speed over the layer.
Abstract: An bucket for a rope shovel provides a structure which is resistant to great mechanical forces and stress during operation of the bucket. The bucket comprises a tubular body (11) with an interior having a closed curvature (8). The tubular body (11) is formed by at least one plate (4) which is folded until its ends are butted and has weld beads (9a, 9b, 9c) and/or weld plugs (9c) to form the body (11) with a tubular shape. The tubular body (11) has an exterior with reinforcement layers (12, 13, 14, 15) comprising at least a plate (4). The lower front portion of the tubular body (11) has a lip (25) which is formed sheets (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d) that are overlapped and nested. Each sheet is formed by at least one plate (4). The upper portion of the tubular body (11) has engagement supports (20, 21, 22 which are also made of at least one plate (4).
Abstract: A modular assembly and method of installing a modular assembly is provided. The modular assembly can include a plurality of base members made of a plastic material, each base member including a top surface and a bottom surface opposite of the top surface, the bottom surface defining channels. A plurality of support members can be provided, each of the plurality of support members may extend across the plurality of base members and disposed within the channels of the plurality of base members. A mounting bracket can be configured to mount each of the plurality of support members to a metal plate of a lower support structure, the metal plate being received by a clamp of the mounting bracket. Each of the plurality of base members can adjoin one another to form a horizontal platform for traffic.
Abstract: A levelling apparatus, typically as used on tractors, excavators and skid-steer vehicles, and references the levelling assembly and mounting options including directly to the existing blade of vehicles as well as other mounting arrangements is provided. The reference plane or reference direction is defined in relation to a direction of gravity.
Abstract: A power bucket having a first and second bucket half pivotally secured together about a main axis by a pivot pin. The bucket halves are movable between an open and a closed position. A head is disposed above the bucket halves and at least one arm pivotally connects the head to one bucket half while at least one second arm is pivotally connected between the head and the other bucket half. A cylinder support is pivotally mounted to the pivot pin and one end of a hydraulic cylinder is attached to the pivot support. The other end of the cylinder is attached to the bucket. Upon actuation of the cylinders, the cylinders move the bucket halves so that a cutting edge of the bucket half moves in a substantially horizontal plane.
Abstract: A bridge cap which for fastening to a bridge has a fastening unit with a fastener and with a guide device that includes a cylindrical anchor sleeve. This invention also relates to a fastening unit for fastening a bridge cap. The fastening unit is composed of separate individual parts, which in addition to the anchor sleeve, include a separate transition piece that has a first cylindrical section adapted to the diameter of the anchor sleeve and a second cylindrical section oriented away from the first and oriented toward an outside of the bridge cap.
Abstract: A device for ground compaction, comprising a frame and a drive motor supported by the frame, a vibration exciter driven by the drive motor and a ground compaction apparatus, in particular a base plate or a roller drum, that is connected to the vibration exciter, wherein the vibration exciter causes the ground compaction apparatus to vibrate at a fixed vibration frequency or within a vibration frequency range during a compaction operation, and wherein a conversion device for the conversion of vibrations into electric energy is provided which converts vibrations of the device for ground compaction into electric energy, wherein the conversion device comprises two spring-mass systems with different resonance frequencies, and wherein a control unit is provided which determines the degree of compaction of the ground from the electric energy obtained by the individual spring-mass systems, in particular the respective voltages.

Abstract: Work machines including automatic grading features and functions. One exemplary embodiment is a work machine including a chassis, ground contacting members rotatably coupled with the chassis and an actuator coupled with the chassis. A pole assembly extends above the chassis. A receiver is coupled with the pole assembly and structured to detect a wireless signal. An electronic controller is in operative communication with the receiver and the actuator, the electronic controller structured to adjust an actuator in response to a wireless signal detected by the receiver. The actuator is adjustable to vary position of the receiver and to vary position of a grading tool assembly coupled with a suspension.
Abstract: One embodiment is a work machine including an actuator coupled with a chassis, a suspension coupled with the actuator, and a tool mount coupled with the suspension. A grading tool assembly is coupled with the tool mount. A wireless receiver is coupled with the suspension. An electronic controller in operative communication with the receiver and the actuator is structured to adjust the actuator in response to a signal received by the receiver effective to simultaneously adjust the position of the receiver and the force applied to the suspension. A grading indicator is coupled with the suspension and provides a visually perceptible indication of a current state of grading relative to a desired state of grading.
Abstract: A wide format dredge apparatus provides a floating vessel or hull with one or more anchor lines, anchors or spuds that enable an operator to hold the hull in a selected locale. Port and starboard booms extend in generally opposite directions from the hull. An elongated ladder is pivotally attached to the hull. The ladder is configured to swing between port and starboard positions. Port and starboard swing devices are rigged to the booms. When the ladder swings to the port position, the starboard swing device is lengthened and the port swing device is shortened. When the ladder swings to the starboard position, the port swing device is lengthened and the starboard swing device is shortened. Each swing cable spans from a boom at a position spaced away from the hull to the outer end portion of the ladder. A lifting device is provided for raising and lowering the ladder. A float or tank travels along the ladder. The float or tank at least partially supports the ladder.

Abstract: A road finisher includes a screed plate extending at right angles to the working direction of the road finisher, a tamper bar disposed rearwardly and/or forwardly of the screed plate in the working direction, wherein at least one electrically operated heating element is configured to heat up a heating surface facing a road subsurface, the heating element comprising a heating layer at least partially obtained through thermal spraying onto a substrate surface, and a piston rod with connecting means to a tamper bar drive. The tamper bar is connected to the piston rod with an upper surface of the tamper bar contacting a lower surface of the piston rod, wherein the piston rod is single-pieced with regard to its connecting means and its lower surface, and the heating layer is located between the piston rod and the tamper bar, especially applied to the lower surface of the piston rod.
Abstract: A method or applying a fast curing epoxy traffic marking composition is provided in which curing agents are coated on a carrier such as glass beads or porous silica. These carriers are dropped onto the epoxy coating and promote rapid curing of the top layer of the epoxy coating while the bottom layer is given additional time to adhere to the roadway surface.

Abstract: A method of repairing an edge guard for a road milling machine. An edge guard includes an edge portion having a plurality of insertion receptacles receiving insertion projections of a plurality of runner segments. A worn runner segment is removed by withdrawing its insertion projection from it associated insertion receptacle. A new runner segment is replaced by inserting its insertion projection into the insertion receptacle from which the worn runner segment was taken.
