  • Patent number: 11553172
Abstract: A precision multi-view (MV) display system can accurately and simultaneously display different content to different viewers over a wide field of view. The MV display system may include features that enable individual MV display devices to be easily and efficiently tiled to form a larger MV display. A graphical interface enables a user to graphically specify viewing zones and associate content that will be visible in those zones in a simple manner. A calibration procedure enables the specification of content at precise viewing locations.

  • Patent number: 11545187
Abstract: A system and method are operable within a computer network environment for compiling videos into a compilation, where each video is programmatically inserted into the compilation, and the resulting video compilation plays alongside an audio track preferably sourced using a unique identifier for the audio track. The system includes a solution stack comprising a remote service system and at least one client, which may be operable to generate at least one video to be associated with an audio track section, with such section determined by select start/end times, programmatically identified, or programmatically associated based on selected metadata. The system then operates to compile at least one user-generated video into an audiovisual set which may be presented as a social post, and further into a video compilation which may include additional filler content, to play alongside a section or the entirety of an audio track.

  • Patent number: 11545188
Abstract: Aspects of the invention provided a video processing method, a video playing method, devices thereof, and a storage medium. The video processing method is applied to a terminal device and can include that a video-frame tagging operation is detected during recording of a video. The video-frame tagging operation can tag a video frame in a recorded video at different times during recording of the video. The video frame can be tagged at different times during recording of the video according to the video-frame tagging operation. A final recorded video is generated based on the tagged video frame and an untagged video frame. The video frame is tagged through the detected video-frame tagging operation and the final recorded video is generated, so that a wonderful moment in the video can be rapidly located based on the tag of the video frame during video playback, and user experience may be improved.

  • Patent number: 11531106
Abstract: A system for identifying a location of one or more assets in a predefined two-dimensional area comprises at least three tracking stations and one or more tracking tags. Each tracking station selectively emits a vertical laser line upon which is embedded a unique identifier, selectively sweeps its laser line about its central axis such that each tracking station's laser line sweeps across at least a portion of the predefined 2-D area, and selectively transmits a current angle of its laser line as its laser line sweeps about its central axis. Each tracking tag detects a laser line from at least three tracking stations within its line of sight. Each tracking tag decodes the unique tracking station identifier, receives the current angle from the tracking station corresponding to the detected laser line, and stores the decoded unique tracking station identifier and the received current angle.

  • Patent number: 11521655
Abstract: Techniques for padding audiovisual clips (for example, audiovisual clips of sporting events) for the purpose of causing the clip to have a predetermined duration so that the padded clip can be evaluated for viewer interest by a machine learning (ML) algorithm. The unpadded clip is padded with audiovisual segment(s) that will cause the padded clip to have a level of viewer interest that it would have if the unpadded clip had been longer. In some embodiments the padded segments are synthetic images generated by a generative adversarial network such that the synthetic images would have the same level of viewer interest (as adjudged by an ML algorithm) as if the unpadded clip had been shot to be longer.

  • Patent number: 11508154
Abstract: Systems and method of generating video summaries are presented herein. Information defining a video may be obtained. The video may include a set of frame images. Parameter values for parameters of individual frame images of the video may be determined. Interest weights for the frame images may be determined. An interest curve for the video that characterizes the video by interest weights as a function of progress through the set of frame images may be generated. One or more curve attributes of the interest curve may be identified and one or more interest curve values of the interest curve that correspond to individual curve attributes may be determined. Interest curve values of the interest curve may be compared to threshold curve values. A subset of frame images of the video to include within a video summary of the video may be identified based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 11488631
Abstract: Video information may define spherical video content having a duration. Spherical video content may define visual content viewable from a point of view as a function of progress through the spherical video content. Path information may define a path selection for the spherical video content. Path selection may include movement of a viewing window within the spherical video content. The viewing window may define extents of the visual content viewable from the point of view as the function of progress through the spherical video content. Time lapse parameter information may define at least two of a time portion of the duration, an image sampling rate, and a time lapse speed effect. A time lapse video may be generated based on the video information, the path information, and the time lapse parameter information.

  • Patent number: 11490155
Abstract: Control techniques are disclosed for devices that are members of ad hoc rendering networks. A first network device may receive a data record representing state of the network. The data record may contain data identifying device(s) that are members of the network, any grouping(s) of the device(s) defined for the network, and a play state of the device(s). When the first network device receives the data record, it may store the data record locally at the first player device. The first player device may determine whether the data record possesses a command altering a play state of a device. If so and if the command is addressed to the first player device, the first player device may execute the command at the first player device. The data record may be relayed among all devices in the ad hoc rendering network, and each device may perform this same process. In this manner, state updates propagate to all devices that are members of the rendering network, and all such devices store state data of all other devices.

  • Patent number: 11479281
Abstract: A system for analyzing a railroad track comprises a transport device, a camera coupled to the transport device, an electronic display device, a memory device, and one or more processors. The camera is disposed adjacent to a rail of the railroad track and generates image data reproducible as one or more images of at least a portion of a surface of the rail. The processors can produce an image of the rail surface, which includes a plurality of elongated portions. The image is analyzed to identify any defects that exist within each elongated portion of the rail surface. The processors determine a value of a metric for each elongated portion of the rail surface. The metric is associated with the identified defects. The electronic display device displays a graph indicative of the metric for each elongated portion, the image of the rail surface, or both.
