  • Patent number: 6619928
Abstract: A cam ring 10 is slidably supported within a pump body 2, and a rotor 20 is rotatably disposed inside the cam ring. The cam ring is eccentric to a rotation shaft 22 of the rotor. The rotor carries a plurality of vanes 18 that can be advanced or retreated, in which a pump chamber 24 is formed in a space between the cam ring and the rotor. The cam ring is formed with the first and second fluid pressure chambers 14 and 16 on both sides thereof, and biased in a direction where the displacement of the pump chamber is at maximum by a spring 26. A control valve 28 is provided in which a differential pressure across a metering orifice is applied on both ends of a spool 32 and a spring 36 is disposed on the side of an end face where a downstream fluid pressure is applied. The fluid pressures of the fluid pressure chambers 14 and 16 are controlled by means of the control valve, whereby the cam ring is swung.

  • Patent number: 6599094
Abstract: A screw compressor system comprises a plurality of screw compressors the capacity of each of which is controlled by repeating load operation and no-load operation. Using a timer output corresponding to compressed gas consumption in a demander including gas consumption equipments, a parent controller determines the number of compressors to be operated among the plurality of compressors. Among the compressors determined to be operated, all compressors other than one are put in load operation. In accordance with a load factor of the excepted one screw compressor, the parent controller controls discharge pressure of each compressor. At this time, the control is made so that discharge pressure of the screw compressor system measured by a pressure gauge be lower than that upon the maximum gas consumption.

  • Patent number: 6558136
Abstract: A micropump underpressure control device, working in conjunction with a micropump having an inlet and an outlet. The micropump underpressure control device comprises a control valve and a transmission tube. The control valve is installed at a supply pipe leading to the micropump and further comprises a case with a membrane, a valve assembly, a connecting rod and a spring. The membrane is exposed to pressure from the outlet of the micropump and accordingly deformed, via the connecting rod controlling opening and closing of the valve assembly, so that working liquid is allowed to proceed to the inlet of the micropump or blocked. The transmission tube transmits pressure at the outlet of the micropump to the membrane. On an opposite side, the membrane is pressed on by working liquid and by the spring. Thus pressure at the inlet of the micropump is controlled, being kept smaller than or equal to pressure at the outlet of the micropump by a fixed difference.

  • Patent number: 6491621
Abstract: A incubator door having a double walled construction where two parallel walls, an inner and an outer wall are spaced apart to form a passageway therebetween. The inner wall is easily removable from the door for cleaning of the interior of the walls by means of a hinge affixed to the outer wall that holds both of the walls together and which has sockets formed therein. The inner wall has tabs at its bottom that fit into the sockets to hold the bottom of the inner door pivotally to the hinge. There is a slot formed in each of the sockets of a sufficient size to allow the thickness of the inner wall to pass through the slot to be removed from the hinge. The other transverse dimension of the tab is larger and does not pass through the slot. Thus, by pivoting the inner wall so that it aligns with the slot, the inner wall can be readily removed from the outer wall. The upper portion of the inner wall is also held from pivoting by a resilient latch that holds the inner wall in position to the outer wall.
