Addressing takes place in the network of the specified type by network addresses, wherein the network addresses have a first part which designates a destination address, and a second part which designates a port of the destination address. The method comprises the steps of: creating a bus configuration, wherein the bus configuration assigns a destination address to a port, and performing a network address translation using the gateway based on the bus configuration created.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a message receiver circuit that receives, at a port of a network node, a message from a neighboring network node. The message includes a maximum transmission unit (“MTU”) of the neighboring network node. The network nodes communicate using a layer-2 protocol. The apparatus includes a comparison circuit that determines if the received MTU is larger than an MTU for the port, and an approval circuit that, after determining that the received MTU is larger than the port's MTU, determines if the received MTU is supported by the network node. The method includes an increase circuit that, after determining that the received MTU is supported, changes the MTU of the network node's ports to match the received MTU, and a message circuit that, after determining that the received MTU is supported, sends a message with the MTU to network nodes connected to ports of the network node.

    Abstract: Various designs for implementing bandwidth part (BWP) full-duplex (FD) are discussed. A base station serving a plurality of user equipments (UEs) over a component carrier bandwidth (CC BW) receives a reference signal from a UE while transmitting downlink traffic to another UE over a part of the CC BW. The base station determines, based on the reference signal, a level of interference on transmissions over the part of the CC BW, and, based at least in part on interference cancelation capabilities of the base station and the level of interference, at least one portion of the CC BW for full-duplex operations. The base station activates full-duplex operations for the at least one portion of the CC BW, which includes receiving from the UE while transmitting to another UE over the same portion of the CC BW. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

A base station performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure on system allocated subbands of a shared communication channel. The base station determines a first set of candidate subbands that are signaled to a user equipment (UE). The UE performs an LBT procedure on the first set to identify a second set of candidate subbands including the successful LBT subbands of the first set. Aspects of the disclosure provide for managing and refining the subbands for transmissions. A first aspect provides the UE to determine a transmission behavior based on mismatch between the first and second sets. A second aspect provides the first and second sets in handshaking between the base station and UE for refining the eventual transmission set of subbands. A third aspect provides cross-band LBT reporting for further refining subband selection in later slots.
