  • Patent number: 11218549
Abstract: A distributed control system, comprising a data network with a plurality of controller nodes that maintain and share their internal states with one another. The controller nodes can be luminaires that are capable of controlling the ambient lighting within a building area. There are one or more ambient light sensors within the data network for sensing and reporting the ambient light level. The controller luminaire nodes are members of a defined group of nodes that share, with one another, information for synchronizing their internal states, based in part on the ambient light levels that the one or more sensors are reporting. Meanwhile, each luminaire node also continually updates its own internal state based on the synchronization data received from the other nodes.

  • Patent number: 11196614
Abstract: In one embodiment, an issue analysis service determines that an issue exists with a device in a network. The service searches a decision tree for a solution to the issue, wherein branch nodes of the decision tree comprise diagnostic checks. The service clusters, based on a determination that a solution to the issue does not exist in the decision tree, telemetry for the device with telemetry for one or more other devices that also experienced the issue. The service uses a neural network to identify a difference between the clustered telemetry and telemetry from one or more devices for which the issue was resolved. The service adds a leaf node to the decision tree with the identified difference as a solution to the issue.

  • Patent number: 11191015
Abstract: In the context of “operator-controlled Wi-Fi” as in 3GPP TR 37,834 vl2,0,0 “Study on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)”, both in solution2 and solution3, WLAN identifiers need to be communicated between the radio access network, RAN, and the UE. However, WLAN identifiers (e. g., SSIDs, BSSIDs, ESSIDs, HESSIDs, Realm identifiers, NAIs, PLMN identifiers, Domain Name lists, . . . ) are large (e. g., SSID may be up to 32 bytes) and cause a large overhead in the wireless interface. This problem is solved by providing an indexed listing of WLAN Identifiers and by only exchanging the indices across the wireless interface; Preferably, some WLANs may have several indices, and each index may also be used to convey the action to take by the UE.

  • Patent number: 11153875
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for the pairing of an inter-band carrier with a time division duplex (TDD) carrier. If the paired band is a frequency division duplex (FDD) band, then base stations and mobile devices may transmit and receive additional thin control channels on FDD carriers to enable full duplex operations. If the paired band is a TDD band, then a conjugate or inverse carrier may be used such that full duplex, or a close approximation thereto, is achieved. With the introduction of a paired channel and fast control channels, rapid uplink/downlink switching may be achieved for TDD carriers efficiently and effectively. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
