Abstract: In an image processing system, an interactive message is transmitted and received between an information processing apparatus and a chatbot server, job setting information is generated, image data and the job setting information are stored in a storage on a network in association with job identification information, a QR code generated from the job identification information is displayed on a screen of the information processing apparatus, an image forming apparatus is caused to read the QR code and to convert the QR code to job identification information, and the image data and the job setting information associated with the job identification information are transmitted from the storage to the image forming apparatus via the management server.
Abstract: A system includes a spool directory accessible by a mobile computing device and an imaging device. A user selects for imaging on the imaging device a file accessible by the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device saves the file on the spool directory with a unique name Upon the user accessing the imaging device for imaging, the imaging device generates a unique quick response code. The user captures the code with a camera of the mobile computing device and the code is used by the mobile computing device to rename the file on the spool directory. That the imaging device knows the quick response code, the imaging device accesses and prints the file on media for the user.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a controller to set one of a first print mode, in which, after starting printing on a first number of sheets per unit time, a printer decreases a number of sheets on which the printer performs printing per unit time from the first number of sheets per unit time so as to avoid a rise in temperature of a fixing device to a predetermined temperature value, and a second print mode. In the second print mode the printer performs printing on a second number of sheets per unit time without changing, based on a rise in temperature of the fixing device, a number of sheets on which the printer performs printing per unit time, where the second number is smaller than the first number.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus installed with at least one first application includes a setting receiving unit, a storage unit, an installation unit, and an addition unit. The setting receiving unit displays at least one first setting screen for setting the first application and receives an input of setting value corresponding to the first application. The storage unit stores first information used, by the setting receiving unit, to display the first setting screen for setting the first application. The installation unit installs a second application on the image forming apparatus. The addition unit adds, to the storage unit, second information used for displaying at least one second setting screen for setting the second application. The setting receiving unit displays the second setting screen based on the second information added to the storage unit and to receive an input of setting value of the second application.

Abstract: A printing method includes a customizing step of receiving a customization instruction of an administrator and customizing a printing screen, a printing step of performing printing in response to reception of a printing start instruction, and a displaying step of displaying the customized printing screen during the printing step, in which when an error occurs in the printing step and then the error is resolved and printing is resumed, a display is performed by switching to an uncustomized printing screen immediately after resuming.
Abstract: A printer includes a reception unit, an acquisition unit, and a printing unit. The reception unit receives a second print job including print data containing embedded storage location information indicating a storage location of a first print job from a relay unit that receives a print job from a user terminal, transmits the print job designating limited functions to the printer, the limited functions being a limited subset of functions that a printer treated as a relay destination is capable of achieving, and does not transmit the print job designating a function other than the limited functions to the printer. The acquisition unit acquires the first print job from the storage location indicated by the storage location information. The printing unit executes printing based on the first print job.
Abstract: Systems and methods for executing a robotic process automation (RPA) workflow for document processing are provided. An input document is processed by a first robot executing one or more document processing activities of the RPA workflow. The document processing activities may include optical character recognition, digitization, classification, or data extraction. Execution of the RPA workflow is suspended by the first robot in response to a user validation activity of the RPA workflow. The user validation activity provides for user validation of the results of the one or more document processing activities. A user request that requests validation of the results from an end user is generated and the user request is transmitted to the end user. The execution of the RPA workflow is resumed by a second robot based on the validation received from the end user.
Abstract: A printing device includes: a communication interface communicable with a server; and a controller. The controller is configured to perform: a communication status monitoring process to monitor a communication state with the server; a consumable determination process; and a transition process. The consumable determination process is to determine whether a particular consumable is included in one or more of consumables attached to the printing device, the particular consumable being a consumable that meets a prescribed condition required for transition to a specific printing state where specific printing under a contract with the server is allowed. The transition process is to execute the transition to the specific printing state in a case where: the communication state is determined to be communicable with the server in the communication status monitoring process; and the particular consumable is determined to be included in the one or more of consumables in the consumable determination process.
Abstract: A print control server that controls printing through an SNS includes a registration section configured to register, in association with each other, a first account that is an account of a user of the SNS and print setting information including designation information of a printer to be used for printing. The registration section issues a first password when accepting a designation of the first account and a designation of a second account that is an account of a user of the SNS and that is to be a share destination of a print setting, notifies the first account of the first password through the SNS, and registers, when a password posted on the SNS by the second account coincides with the first password, the print setting information registered in association with the first account also in association with the second account.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus transmits a login request for logging into an external device to the external device, based on a short-range wireless communication being established between the information processing apparatus and the external device in a state where an application is operating in a background state on the information processing apparatus.
Abstract: In an image forming apparatus, a consumable accommodates printing material and is mounted in a main casing. The consumable includes a consumable memory. A controller performs a restriction process to rewrite the first status information to indicate the used product to prohibit the consumable from being used in other image forming apparatuses in a case where first status information stored in the one of the consumable memory and a main memory indicates the new product. The controller performs an updating process to update the second status information so that the second status information indicates that the consumable can be temporarily used in the another image forming apparatus in a case where the controller receives a contract cancellation instruction. The contract cancellation instruction instructs to cancel an agreement concluded for the image forming apparatus.
