The page search method for an electronic device includes: identifying information elements contained in a page to be output on a display unit of the electronic device; assigning indexes to the information elements for distinction in consideration of types of the information elements; arranging the indexes on a scroll bar region corresponding to the page; and outputting a composite scroll bar containing the scroll bar region on which the indexes are arranged.

Abstract: Embodiments related to the manipulation of lists via a multi-touch display are disclosed. One disclosed embodiment comprises a computing device having a touch-sensitive display, a processor, and memory. The memory comprises code executable by the processor to display a scrollable list of items on the touch-sensitive display, to detect a first touch gesture over the scrollable list of items on the touch-sensitive display, and, in response, to scroll the scrollable list of items on the touch-sensitive display. The memory further comprises code executable by the processor to detect a second, multi-touch gesture over the scrollable list of items on the touch-sensitive display, and in response to adjust a displayed range of the scrollable list of items.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for zoom indication for stabilizing unstable video clips is described. To indicate zoom, a zoom value associated with an unstable segment of a video clip is received. The zoom value represents a value by which frames of the video clip in the unstable segment need to be zoomed to stabilize the unstable segment. An indicia is displayed representing the zoom value in a thumbnail in a user interface. The thumbnail represents the video clip. The indicia displayed over a region in the thumbnail corresponding to the unstable segment in the video clip.

The computing device may receive touch gesture input from the user selecting one of the plurality of related interactive elements. Abstract: One or more content sequences are created from a store of video content, which could simply be broadcast content which has been captured and stored at a server within a network. The content sequences are generated according to the viewer's specified, or demonstrated, viewing preferences. The viewer preferences are captured form entry by the user themselves, or by observation of their viewing habits. Multiple ‘users’ per household and multiple content sequences per viewer are possible. A content sequences is then streamed to the viewer, and looks to him/her just like a TV channel: when one program ends, another starts automatically. It is also possible for a viewer to select an item within the content sequence using an interactive program controller.

The command is transmitted across the network to the placeshifting device to modify a media stream provided by the desired media source.
