  • Patent number: 11140095
Abstract: One or more methods and/or techniques for content resource allocation are provided herein. A user, of a client device, may access content. Real time user traffic associated with accessing the content may be determined. A trend may be identified from the real time user traffic for the content. The real time user traffic may be indicative of an amount of the content distribution resources used to provide a threshold level of service to users. Responsive to the trend indicating a projected increase in real time user traffic for the content, the content distribution resources may be allocated to the content based upon the projected increase, such that the allocated content distribution resources provide the threshold level of service to the user.

  • Patent number: 10992572
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes providing a first mapping between a set of two or more IP addresses and a set of two more servers. The first mapping is embodied in a virtual network layer modifiable by a workload advisor based on a weight recommendation. A plurality of transactions are received from a load balancer. The weight recommendation for the servers is received, where the weight recommendation defines a goal for weighting transactions among the servers. A second mapping, from the two or more IP addresses to the servers, is determined dynamically by the workload advisor, based on the weight recommendation and absent communication between the load balancer and the workload advisor. A second plurality of transactions are received and are routed to the servers through the virtual network layer according to the second mapping.

  • Patent number: 10404829
Abstract: In one embodiment, an application server to achieve improved quality of service (QoS) for content delivery in a communication network is disclosed. The application server receives a request from a client device to deliver content to the client device. The application server determines a relative priority of each of a plurality of content delivery servers in the communication network based on at least one of one or more parameters and a configuration file. The application server identifies at least one content delivery server from the plurality of content delivery servers based on relative priority. The application server identifies a shortest path for the content delivery between the identified at least one content delivery server and the client device based on one or more pre-defined rules. • Patent number: 10257341
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for establishing an interaction session between a visual interface on any of a wide range of devices (e.g., POS, ATM, computer, television, or other visual display) and a smartphone having a camera by using the smartphone camera to scan or capture a special image (e.g., a QR code) presented on the visual interface. The special image serves as a token mark that can graphically encode information about the visual interface and the operator or owner of the device presenting the visual interface. Upon scanning the token mark, an application on the smartphone may establish a connection between the application and a server in communication with the visual interface. The application may then present some of actions provided by the visual interface on the smartphone display so that the user can select actions using the smartphone with the selected actions being performed on the visual interface.

  • Patent number: 10158551
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to a Resume Trigger Manager (RTM) and associated computing framework that handles client-server communications associated with automated application testing and/or monitoring, for both a system under test and third-party servers. The RTM in certain example embodiments performs the test execution by routing service request messages from one or more clients to the web server in accordance; maintains a count of open service requests for each client; and relays return messages from the web server to the client(s). When a wait request is received from a given client, the RTM may determine that there are no open service requests for that client and send a wait response message indicating same; and/or that a period of time has elapsed and accordingly interrupt pending service requests for that client, reset that client's counter, and return a wait response message indicating that the predefined period of time has elapsed.
