Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for establishing an interaction session between a visual interface on any of a wide range of devices (e.g., POS, ATM, computer, television, or other visual display) and a smartphone having a camera by using the smartphone camera to scan or capture a special image (e.g., a QR code) presented on the visual interface. The special image serves as a token mark that can graphically encode information about the visual interface and the operator or owner of the device presenting the visual interface. Upon scanning the token mark, an application on the smartphone may establish a connection between the application and a server in communication with the visual interface. The application may then present some of actions provided by the visual interface on the smartphone display so that the user can select actions using the smartphone with the selected actions being performed on the visual interface.
Abstract: A method implemented in an e-commerce system to facilitate transactions between a customer and a vendor using embedded forms includes requesting by a vendor system to an e-commerce system to generate an embedded form for use in an SMTP email campaign. The method further includes transmitting emails with embedded forms including at least one token by the vendor system to a customer device. The method further includes rendering the embedded form in email to the customer device and receiving a response email, wherein the response email includes input details requested in the specified input fields and a token; authenticating the response email; decoding the token and processing a transaction based on the customer input details requested in the specified input fields of the embedded form.

Abstract: A conferencing system includes at least one first information terminal, a second information terminal, and an information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit configured to receive a first display position corresponding to a current display position of content data displayed by the first information terminal. The second information terminal includes a display unit configured to display the content data and the first display position.
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure include, for example, selecting a first communication device of the plurality of communication devices to analyze activities of the first communication device, presenting at a device activity information associated with the activities of the first communication device, facilitating an exchange of messages between the device and the first communication device, receiving a request from the device to transfer control of the first communication device to the device responsive to the device receiving an unsatisfactory response from the first communication device, and receiving control information from the device to adjust an operational aspect of the first communication device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A post incident analysis system and method includes a system management module coupled to a communications link and digital data storage containing a database of multiple survey questions, each question associated with an application criteria statement and auto populate instructions. The module conducts post incident analysis responsive to a network incident. After the incident receives a given status, the module generates a post incident survey. Survey questions are identified by applying the application criteria statement associated with each question. The module pre-completes selected ones of the identified survey questions by executing the auto populate instructions associated with the selected survey question to identify and retrieve answers to the question from predefined data sources specified in the auto populate instructions. The post incident survey includes, at minimum, survey questions for which the pre-completion was not successful. The survey is transmitted to the participants via the link.

Abstract: Methods and computer-readable media for providing a recommendation and for rerouting calls are disclosed. For example, a method detects updated status information regarding a contact of a user and determines whether the updated status information signifies an event of interest. When the updated information is determined to signify an event of interest, the method provides to a device of the user a recommendation that the user should communicate with the contact. The recommendation includes an indication of the event of interest.

Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to a Resume Trigger Manager (RTM) and associated computing framework that handles client-server communications associated with automated application testing and/or monitoring, for both a system under test and third-party servers. The RTM in certain example embodiments performs the test execution by routing service request messages from one or more clients to the web server in accordance; maintains a count of open service requests for each client; and relays return messages from the web server to the client(s). When a wait request is received from a given client, the RTM may determine that there are no open service requests for that client and send a wait response message indicating same; and/or that a period of time has elapsed and accordingly interrupt pending service requests for that client, reset that client's counter, and return a wait response message indicating that the predefined period of time has elapsed.
