Abstract: Systems and methods for recording and archiving whiteboard sessions associated with an electronic whiteboard. In aspects, archived whiteboard sessions may be assigned to bookmarks along a whiteboard timeline, which may be editable. For instance, one or more ink strokes associate with an archived whiteboard session may be edited, i.e., added, deleted and/or altered in any way. Moreover, a bookmark corresponding to an archived whiteboard session may be renamed and/or relocated along the whiteboard timeline. In this way, whiteboard sessions may be updated or augmented for future use, may be organized in any suitable order along the whiteboard timeline (e.g., regardless of chronology), and may be named according to descriptive titles or topics (e.g., as opposed to automated date-stamping based on receipt date). In this way, an editable timeline associated with an electronic whiteboard may provide an organized library of readily-presentable content.

Abstract: Shared conferencing content may be annotated during presentation either by a presenter or by a participant of a conference. The annotated content may be manipulated by a participant or by a presenter through a user interface. A system for annotating shared conferencing content may be configured to receive, in real time, an annotation for a portion of multimedia content. The annotated portions of the multimedia content may have a set of associated characteristics for manipulating the portions of the multimedia content. A multimedia conferencing method may include permitting, in response to a received request, manipulation of the annotated portions of the multimedia content based on the set of the associated characteristics.

Abstract: Various examples of the present disclosure include techniques and mechanisms for providing a customizable visual and functional experience for a user of an application or service. According to various examples, a system includes a first visual interface that is mapped to a first feature set to operate together as a first user interface that is presented throughout the application or service when selected. The system further includes a second visual interface that is mapped to a second feature set to operate together as a second user interface that is presented throughout the application or service when selected. The first feature set and second feature set differ from each other and both the first user interface and second user interface are customizable.

Abstract: An apparatus, method, and system using techniques to partially refresh a display page. A navigation URL generated by an application in response to a user interaction is received, the navigation URL indicating a place within a page hierarchy at which a partial refresh of a page with which the navigation URL is associated is to be performed and the navigation URL including one or more URL portions usable to retrieve page content data to be used to partially refresh the page. The navigation URL is processed to determine the place within the page hierarchy at which the partial refresh is to be performed. The navigation URL is used to retrieve the page content data.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes determining available media content from one or more content sources, providing at least a portion of the available media content for display on a display device of a user, and determining whether a media action button should be displayed on the display device. The media action button is provided for display on the display device when it is determined that the media action button should be displayed. The media action button is operable to perform an action associated with particular available media content.

Abstract: A method for activating an application function includes obtaining an activation instruction sent by a user within a blank space accessible to the user on an application interface and activating at least one application function according to the activation instruction. The method allows the user to send the activation instruction from within the blank space accessible to the user on the application interface and activate a corresponding application function, without the need of operating a preset function button as in existing technologies. The technical solution is not limited by application scenarios and has a higher flexibility thus facilitating a convenient and rapid activation of a corresponding function and improving the convenience for the user to use application functions.

Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods of health reporting are disclosed that enhance decision support and provide alerts when health deterioration or the need for intervention has been detected. Embodiments utilize combined pictorial representations (including physical, mental, and social health determinants) as an avatar or pictogram, comparing health status to a general or target population, and using different methods to represent and reinforce health status. The apparatus, systems, and methods further enable individuals to access their own medical records in a way that can be understood by them and therefore is more widely accessible. The invention enhances health reporting, improving utility, usability and desirability of health reporting tools.

Abstract: A digital magazine presents content items based on user interaction with or preference for content items determined based on how a user flips through different content items of the digital magazine. For example, the user may slow down or pause flipping, flip through content items at an inconsistent pace or change the navigational direction of the flipping, when the user is encountered with content items of interest. By analyzing how a user flips through different content items, content items that the user interacts with can be determined, and content items that the user may interact with or prefer can be determined and presented to the user.

Abstract: A method to dynamically determine which instructions from a plurality of available instructions to issue in each clock cycle in a multithreaded processor capable of issuing a plurality of instructions in each clock cycle, comprises the steps of: determining a highest priority instruction from the plurality of available instructions; determining the compatibility of the highest priority instruction with each of the remaining available instructions; and issuing the highest priority instruction together with other instructions compatible with the highest priority instruction in the same clock cycle; wherein the highest priority instruction cannot be a speculative instruction. The effect of this is that speculative instructions are only ever issued together with at least one non-speculative instruction.
