Each option is associated with a gaming application provided to a user device. Each option has a respective identifier and a respective weight. The at least one processor retrieves one or more of the options from the at least one memory. The weight provides a weighting for each option in dependence on previous selections of that option.

Abstract: An item name display region where item names of a plurality of items included in the medical information of a patient are displayed and a content display region where a graph for each item is displayed are provided on a display screen of a medical assistance client. On the display screen, a display/non-display setting of the graph for each item is possible in the content display region by a first operation including a mouse click operation. The graph of a non-display setting item can be temporarily displayed by a mouse-over operation not including the click operation. The mouse-over operation is an operation of just overlapping a pointer on the item name display region.

Abstract: When a user sees a content item presented by a social networking system, the user may select an option to save the content item. The saved content item may be reinserted in a newsfeed presented to the user, integrated into collections, archived, used for notifications to the user, or otherwise subsequently presented to the user. A plug-in may be used to save content items accessed through websites external to the social networking system. As privacy settings associated with a saved content item are modified, the modified privacy settings are applied to the saved content item, which may prevent the user saving the content item from subsequently viewing the saved content item.

Abstract: Using a memory that manages a user log including at least a cooking time and a food to be cooked with a cooking device used by each user in a plurality of users, a recommended cooking time corresponding to a first user's food to be cooked included in recommended cooking times for respective foods calculated based on cooking times with the cooking devices is acquired from a server, a user interface that prompts the first user to select one of candidates of cooking times including at least the recommended cooking times is displayed on a display, and in response to detecting that a cooking time is selected by performing an input operation on the user interface, a setting command to set the selected cooking time is output to the first cooking device.

Abstract: Various methods and systems for documenting interactive graphical design are provided. An exemplary graphical design environment stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprises a documentation element in an interactive graphical design. The design environment also comprises a design element that displays a plurality of states in a rendering of the interactive graphical design in an external player. The documentation element: (i) is enabled to receive a selection from the user of a state in the plurality of states; and (ii) displays a representation of the design element in the state in response to receiving the selection from the user. The documentation element and design element are both instantiated by a processor operating in combination with the non-transitory computer-readable medium.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of editing text in a mobile terminal include a display unit, configured to display a text display area, a touch sensitive keypad display area, at least one text character in the text display area, and a cursor in the text display area; and at least one processor, configured to detect a first gesture in a touch input in the touch sensitive keypad display area, and control moving, upon detecting the first gesture, the cursor in the text display area, according to the touch input in the touch sensitive keypad display area. The first gesture includes a touch of a point in the touch sensitive keypad display area where no key is displayed.

Abstract: A gaze target is recognized via an eye tracking camera. An application launcher is displayed, via a display, at the gaze target based on a user trigger. The application launcher presents a plurality of applications selectable for launching. A user selection of one of the plurality of applications is recognized. The application launcher is replaced with the selected one of the plurality of applications at the gaze target via the display.

Abstract: Effects of content communications propagated to users of a social networking system may be tracked and measured by the social networking system. Identifiers of content presented to users within a time period before the users interact with the content are recorded. As users interact with the content, additional data describing the interactions with the content and the users interacting with the content are stored. Various metrics may be determined from the data describing interactions with the content. For example including virality metrics and reach metrics, may be determined and presented to the user that posted the content.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for displaying a notification message. The method includes receiving a first notification message, parsing the first notification message to obtain a message type of the first notification message or an application server identifier of the first notification message, acquiring, according to the message type of the first notification message or the application server identifier of the first notification message, a moving track used to dynamically display the first notification message and an icon used to dynamically display the first notification message, and dynamically displaying the first notification message according to the icon and the moving track. By using the method and the apparatus for displaying a notification message, a user can conveniently learn a real-time notification message in a timely manner, thereby improving service quality for the user.

Abstract: A tone mapping graphical user interface (GUI) is provided that allows a video engineer to process a video using a set of tools for changing high dynamic range data into lower dynamic range data. The tone mapping GUI includes a video player region that includes the current video output section for a region-based method of performing HDR conversion, and a current video output section for a reference method that performs HDR conversion using, for example, a global process.

Abstract: A method and associated systems for inferring insights from enhanced user input. A computerized messaging system identifies a user operating a mobile, location-enabled, “scribble” device and associates the user or the device with a domain of interest or with other metadata that characterizes the user. When the user enters an ad hoc “scribble” input via the device, the system automatically tags the input with the user's location, with sensory data received from one or more sensor devices, and with ancillary data received from extrinsic data repositories. The system may then consider this ancillary and sensory data in order to identify or infer rules or insights associated with the user and the scribble. These rules may then be used to identify targeted, user-specific steps to perform in response to receiving the scribble, where these user-specific steps accommodate a user preference without exposing confidential user information to a public data repository.

In response, an application view selection mode is entered and images of open applications are displayed in a three-dimensional stack extending backwards on the display. A gesture is detected on a respective image of an open application in the three-dimensional stack. Abstract: A system, method, and computer program are provided for enabling a user to edit and access local and remote objects via a virtual drive, including objects synchronized to a plurality of synchronization clients. A virtual drive is displayed on the user's local client device with all objects, which a user has synchronized to a synchronization server. A user is able to access and edit any object displayed in the virtual drive. In response to detecting a change in an object in the virtual drive, the object is updated on the synchronization server. All remote clients of the user or of any other users whom have access to the changed folder are identified and notified of the change. In response to the change being a change to content within the folder, the content of the folder is automatically updated on any identified remote clients that have a corresponding folder.
