  • Patent number: 10946810
Abstract: A cell phone stand has a base and a cell phone mounting bracket rotatably affixed to the base around a horizontal axis. The mounting bracket has a first jaw and a second jaw that is movable in a horizontal direction with respect to the first jaw. The first jaw has a first u-shaped channel with a first upper segment and a first lower segment. The second jaw has a second u-shaped channel with a second upper segment and a second lower segment. By adjusting the position of the jaws, the user may adjust a width between the first and upper segments, thus sizing the mounting bracket to receive a cell phone of a particular width. Even at the smallest such width, inner ends of the first and second lower segments of the u-shaped channels remain spaced from each other so as to permit the cell phone to be connected to an electrical cable while being held by the stand.

  • Patent number: 10902275
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a system and method for monitoring a display output of a graphics processing unit (“GPU”), and more particularly, to monitoring safety critical symbols of a commercial off the shelf (“COTS”) GPU to ensure a high level of accuracy of the display output to be displayed to a user. The generated display output signal of the COTS GPU may be encoded with specific reference points within a generated image, and compared to a predicted image for the monitoring device having corresponding specific reference points. By having specific reference points in the encoded display output signal of the COTS GPU, the monitoring device may significantly reduce processing and throughput but focusing the comparison on only the specific encoded reference points and thereby confirming the accuracy of the COTS GPU.

  • Patent number: 10872251
Abstract: An annotation system provides various tools for facilitating training data annotation. The annotation tools include a bidirectional annotation model that generates annotations for an image sequence based on both forward information and backward information in an image sequence. The annotation system also facilitates annotation processes by automatically suggesting annotations to the human operator based on a set of annotation predictions and locations of interactions of the human operator on the image. This way, the annotation system provides an accelerated way to generate high-quality annotations that take into account input from a human operator by using the predictions as a guide when it appears that an estimated annotation is consistent with the judgement of the human operator. The annotation system also updates annotations for an overlapping set of objects based on input from human operators.

  • Patent number: 10866303
Abstract: A method of determining the location of a mobile computing device includes measuring a first time of flight (ToF) value and a first value of received energy of direct path (EDP) (PR) of a number of acknowledgement (ACK) packets received in response to a number of first probe packets sent to a first mobile device. The method calculates a preliminary distance value (d0) using a ToF-based distance equation, selects an ACK packet with a distance closest to d0 from the number of ACK packets, calculates an initial path loss exponent (?0) of the selected ACK packet sample using d0 and PR. With the access point, the method also includes measuring a second PR for a second number of ACK packets received in response to a number of second probe packets sent to the first mobile device, calculates a supplemental distance value using an EDP-based distance equation and the ?0, and determines the location of the mobile device using multilateration and the supplemental distance value.
