  • Patent number: 10871899
Abstract: An input accepting device includes operation keys, a character receiving unit, a converting unit, an operation key state detection unit, a timer, and a conversion control unit. The converting unit converts a combination of characters corresponding to the operation keys sequentially operated into another character or word. The operation key state detection unit detects a first timing and a second timing while the user operates the operation key. The first timing is at which a state of the user becomes a state of touching the operation key from a state of not touching the operation key. The second timing is at which a state of the user becomes a state of not touching the operation key after the first timing. The timer detects an elapsed time from the first timing. The conversion control unit causes the conversions with different contents depending on the elapsed time at the second timing.

  • Patent number: 10867584
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for displaying a touchable user interface of a display device and displaying a user interface progress experience on the touchable user interface. In one aspect, available application space on the display device may be identified. An amount of available application space may be comparted with an amount of space required for one or more user interface elements. A visible display of the one or more user interface elements may be adjusted based on the amount of available application space compared to the amount of space required for the one or more user interface elements. In another aspect, an action command associated with the one or more user interface elements may be selected and performed. While the selected action command is being performed and when a threshold value has been met, the user interface progress experience may be displayed.

  • Patent number: 10643446
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for detecting objects or patient safety events in a patient room. Artificial intelligence is utilized to enhance safety issue recognition capabilities by the methods and systems. Sensors collect a series of images and depth data in a room of a patient. Data (corresponding to images and depth data of an object or patient safety event) is received from the sensors and compared to stored data to identify the object or patient safety event. The images are communicated to a central video monitoring system and a user may be prompted to confirm if the object requires learning or a patient safety event occurred (or identify the object or patient safety event) or to provide additional parameters or actions. A patient safety learning system analyzes the data and incorporates the user response to enhance safety issue recognition capabilities of the system and reduce false alerts.

  • Patent number: 10636151
Abstract: A method for estimating the speed a first video camera when it captures a current image of a three-dimensional scene, the current image including pixels. The method includes storing a reference image corresponding to an image of the same scene captured by a second video camera in a different pose, the reference image including pixels. The method also includes storing the current image, containing for each pixel of the current image the measurement of a physical magnitude measured by that pixel, which is the same as the physical magnitude measured by the pixels of the reference image. The method further includes storing for each pixel of the reference image or of the current image the measurement of a depth that separates that pixel from the point of the scene photographed by that pixel, estimating the pose and speed of the first video camera.

  • Patent number: 10611497
Abstract: A vibrometric signature for a vehicle, or a set of one or more frequencies where vibration of the vehicle is naturally observed in the presence of excitation, may be generated and used to make one or more determinations regarding the integrity or suitability of the vehicle for one or more missions. When the vehicle is subjected to excitation over a range of frequencies, images of the vehicle are captured, and power levels of vibrations of the vehicle are calculated based on the images. A vibrometric signature is generated based on the power levels of the vibrations, and compared to vibrometric signatures previously generated for the aerial vehicle, or to vibrometric signatures associated with one or more other vehicles, or anomalies experienced by such other vehicles, to determine whether the vehicle may be cleared for the performance of one or more missions, or whether maintenance or inspections are required.
