The side wall also includes a second outside constriction shaped to receive two adjacent fingers, other than the thumb of a second hand of the same user, the second constriction being spaced apart from the first constriction along the central axis.

Abstract: A urination assistance device for use with a bowl toilet is provided: A downwardly-extending receptacle collects urine. A stabilizing frame is provided designed to allow the urination assistance device to rest upon a toilet seat or upon the rim of the toilet bowl. The stabilizing frame defines a pair of ends, with each end terminating with a downward oriented elbow. The base member including a downward directed spout in operative communication with the receptacle to discharge any urine collected within the receptacle into the toilet bowl. The spout is in or in near contact with the upper portion of the interior wall of the front of the toilet bowl.

Abstract: A support device to maintain a mounting assembly on the exterior of a sink flange engaged to a sink adapted to engage a garbage disposal. The support device employs a body portion engaged to one or a plurality of magnets. The body portion is adapted to engage with or upon the sink flange and thereby position the magnets to magnetically hold the mounting assembly upon the exterior of the sink flange.

Abstract: A pre-moistened (wet) with surfactant and humectant, flushable, toilet bowl liner shield which reduces the need for manual cleaning by providing a barrier shield between the bowl of the toilet and solid waste and using an Essential Oil based water surface barrier to reduce or eliminate toilet odor. The pre-moistened toilet bowl liner shield is for use in a flushable toilet wherein the water has an upper surface. The upper surface of the flat liner sits directly on top or slightly under the upper surface edge of the water. The liners reduce or prevent soiling of the interior of a toilet bowl and for efficient removal and flushing of human waste. The liners are treated with Essential Oils that create a surface barrier and reduce or eliminate toilet odor.

Abstract: A filtration system to filter air from a toilet bowl includes: a fan assembly having a fan and an air flow channel in fluid communication with the toilet bowl to draw air from the toilet bowl; a housing interposing the toilet bowl and the fan assembly, the housing having a filter receptacle to receive a filter unit therein, the received filter unit being in fluid communication with the air flow channel wherein the fan assembly draws air through the filter unit to exhaust the air out of the air flow channel; an activator to activate the fan assembly; and, a decimator for killing or eliminating particulate matter in the air flow.

Abstract: A female urination aid to enable a female to urinate from a standing position. The invention, in one embodiment, has a disposable funnel, typically made of paper or similar material, which fits into a reusable holder, which enables the funnel to be held against the body. The funnel may include an attached pad of wiping paper. In a second, reusable or multi-use embodiment, the funnel portion of the apparatus is of a reusable material such as plastic. A fluid container for holding a cleaning solution conveniently snaps onto the funnel, forming an easy to carry kit. Wiping paper may be attached to the funnel, so as to form a readily usable kit.

Abstract: A pedicure bowl has a bottom discharge drain opening communicating with a discharge duct and is arranged to receive a liner to ensure hygienic operation in the form of a thin flexible material applied over the inner surface to contain the liquid within the liner and to cover the drain opening. The drain opening is closed by the liner so that liquid within the container applies downward pressure on the liner at the drain opening and a sealing member is mounted in the duct downstream of the drain opening to prevent air flow so as to form a back pressure underneath the liner to prevent the downward pressure from rupturing the liner. The sealing member is operable to release the back pressure to cause the liner at the discharge opening to rupture.

Fluid entering through the flow tube and into the bowl fills the interior until the water level reaches the discharge opening to exit from the drain trap. Water flow is in the annular space between the inner surface of the bowl and the exterior surface of the tube.

Abstract: An odor-removing hinge system and method of use for withdrawing noxious odors from toilets and portable commodes is disclosed. The present seat hinge system includes an integrated housing that functions as a portion of an exhaust pathway for noxious gases expelled within the toilet bowl. The present hinge system includes at least one hollow bolt disposed in fluid communication with the housing, which is used to secure the toilet seat to the toilet. In one embodiment the noxious gases within the toilet bowl are carried by convection or vacuum via connective tubing to an exhaust conduit installed in an adjacent wall. In other embodiments the noxious gases are directed through a detachable air filter assembly secured to the housing and the odorless filtered air is recirculated. In a method of use the present hinge system is retrofitted to existing toilets and portables commodes in replacement of standard toilet seat hinges.

Abstract: Embodiments of a manually operated valve for a shower installation system are described herein that include: an inlet and an outlet configured for installation of the valve along piping and a valve debit control mechanism including a valve chamber that defines a passage between the inlet and outlet, and a valve actuator that biases the valve debit control mechanism towards a closed position wherein the passage is obstructed and which is movable towards an opened position wherein the passage is opened when a triggering force is applied onto the valve actuator. The valve limits the consumption of water in a shower by automatically preventing the flow of water therethrough unless a user voluntarily triggers and maintains the opening of the valve.
