  • Patent number: 11514015
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to providing and using probabilistic data structures to at least reduce requests between database nodes. In various embodiments, a first database node processes a database transaction that involves writing a set of database records to an in-memory cache of the first database node. As part of processing the database transaction, the first database node may insert, in a set of probabilistic data structures, a set of database keys that correspond to the set of database records. The first database node may send, to a second database node, the set of probabilistic data structures to enable the second database node to determine whether to request, from the first database node, a database record associated with a database key.

  • Patent number: 11507544
Abstract: Techniques for efficiently storing client data blocks on a distributed-computing system are provided. The system includes a fast performance tier and a large capacity tier. The capacity tier stores the client data blocks in erasure encoded data stripes. The performance tier stores logical map data including an address map indicating a correspondence between logical addresses associated with a first layer of the system and physical addresses associated with a second layer. A method includes receiving a request to include additional client data blocks in the client blocks. The request indicates logical addresses for additional blocks. Corresponding physical addresses for additional block are determined. Each additional block is stored at the physical address. Additional logical map data is stored in the performance tier. Storing the additional logical map data includes updating the address map to indicate the correspondence between the logical addresses and the physical addresses for the additional blocks.

Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein for enhanced similarity search. In an implementation, a search environment includes one or more computing hardware, software, and/or firmware components in support of enhanced similarity search. The one or more components identify a modality for a similarity search with respect to a query object. The components generate an embedding for the query object based on the modality and based on connections between the query object and neighboring nodes in a graph. The embedding for the query object provides the basis for the search for similar objects.

  • Patent number: 11443232
Abstract: Techniques for active learning-based data labeling are described. An active learning-based data labeling service enables a user to build and manage large, high accuracy datasets for use in various machine learning systems. Machine learning may be used to automate annotation and management of the datasets, increasing efficiency of labeling tasks and reducing the time required to perform labeling. Embodiments utilize active learning techniques to reduce the amount of a dataset that requires manual labeling. As subsets of the dataset are labeled, this label data is used to train a model which can then identify additional objects in the dataset without manual intervention. The label data can be added to an augmented manifest, the augmented manifest can be used to filter the dataset to perform further labeling jobs on the same or different subsets of the dataset.

  • Patent number: 11409719
Abstract: A platform's central instance manager (IM) receives microservice requests issued to a common application shared between various tenants. Embodiments function to co-locate within a same database, the persistence containers of different microservice instances of a specific tenant. The central IM associates a corresponding tenant identifier with microservice request instances created. Referencing this assigned tenant identifier, the central IM maintains an external configuration file comprising a mapping of services (m) and tenants (n), to relevant persistence container service instances. Such mapping permits the allocation of tenant-specific microservice data for storage within persistence containers of a particular database. This co-location of data promotes flexibility, allowing tenants to furnish database structures tailored to their individual needs.
