  • Patent number: 11518431
Abstract: A steering system is configured such that a ratio of a turning angle change amount with respect to a steering angle change amount in a first steering angle area is larger than the ratio of the turning angle change amount with respect to the steering angle change amount in a second steering angle area, and a steering angle in the second steering angle is smaller than the steering angle of the first steering angle area. An electronic control unit of the steering system sets a delay degree of a change in turning angle with respect to a change in steering angle in the first steering angle area to be larger than the delay degree of the change in turning angle with respect to the change in steering angle in the second steering angle area regardless of a turning-over operation or a turning-back operation.

  • Patent number: 11519156
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for adjusting steering angle and articulation angle in an auto articulation operation of a work vehicle. The percentage of travel of a steering joystick of the work vehicle at least partially determines a steering desired angle change, which can be used to calculate a steering desired angle and an articulation desired angle change. The difference between the steering desired angle and a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor is used to adjust the steering angle. The articulation desired angle change can be used to calculate an articulation desired angle. The difference between the articulation desired angle and an articulation angle detected by an articulation angle sensor is used to adjust the articulation angle.

  • Patent number: 11513539
Abstract: An autonomous mobile object includes an imaging unit, a positional information sender to acquire and send positional information to a server, and an operation controller to cause the autonomous mobile object to move autonomously based on an operation command. The server includes storage to receive and store the positional information from the autonomous mobile object, a commander to send the operation command to the autonomous mobile object, and a receiver to receive information relating to an emergency report including a target location. When the receiver receives the information relating to the emergency report, the commander sends an emergency operation command to the autonomous mobile object located in a specific area including the target location. The emergency operation command causes the autonomous mobile object to capture an image of a person or a vehicle moving away from the target location, and the autonomous mobile object sends the image to the server.

  • Patent number: 11506503
Abstract: Methods and a system are described for prioritizing the upload of connected vehicle map data in a central mapping system. A central mapping unit includes a central server which receives and processes data uploads by priority order, from highest priority to lowest priority. The uploaded data is compared to central map data to determine whether the central map requires updating. When the central mapping unit determines that there is not enough information to update the central map in a region, a priority list is updated to give high priority to data collection in the region. The updated priority list is pushed to connected vehicles travelling in the region, which have external sensors for data collection in the surrounding environment. When a connected vehicle enters the region, its external sensors collect data regarding the region, which is uploaded to the central mapping unit with highest priority.

  • Patent number: 11435751
Abstract: A vehicle can include an on-board data processing system that receives sensor data captured by various sensors of the vehicle. As a vehicle travels along a route, the on-board data processing system can process the captured sensor data to identify a potential vehicle stop. The on-board data processing system can then identify geographical coordinates of the location at which the potential vehicle stop occurred, use artificial intelligence to classify a situation of the vehicle at the potential stop, and determine whether the stop was caused by a road obstacle, such as a speed bump, a gutter, an unmarked crosswalk, or any other obstacle not at an intersection. If the stop was caused by the road obstacle, the on-board data processing system can generate virtual stop or yield line data corresponding to the identified geographic coordinates and transmit this data to a server over a network for processing.
