Abstract: A method includes providing a first route for a delivery vehicle that is associated with a first deadline to reach a first location. The method also includes receiving a cargo delivery request. The method further includes determining a second route for the delivery vehicle that includes a stop at an automated warehouse. The method additionally includes determining, based on scheduling information for robots at the warehouse, a projected availability time for cargo that satisfies the cargo delivery request to be available for pickup at the warehouse. The method also includes determining that the delivery vehicle is expected to reach the first location by the first deadline after traveling on the second route and picking up the cargo from the warehouse. The method further includes providing the second route to the delivery vehicle and causing a robot at the warehouse to prepare the cargo for pickup at the warehouse.
Abstract: A method for access control to a digital event is disclosed. The method may include receiving, from a first client device, a request to purchase an electronic ticket for a digital event. The method may further include sending an event identifier to the first client device. The method may also include receiving an access request to access the digital event, wherein the access request includes the event identifier and a password. The method may include identifying a second client device that is currently accessing the digital event. The method may further include sending a message to the second client device indicative of the access request received from the first client device. The method may include receiving authorization from the second client device to initiate a transfer of access to the digital event from the second client device to the first client device.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for managing non-standard data. A data management system stores profile records for non-standard providers in a DTN database, and elements defining an itinerary in an EDR database. The data management system queries the DTN database for profiles matching search criteria, and generates a service request for one of the matching profiles. The service request is stored in an extended data structure of an extended data record in the EDR database. The extended data record includes a standard data structure for storing standard elements and the extended data structure for storing non-standard elements. The service request is also transmitted to non-standard provider systems. Service offers from the non-standard provider systems are stored in the extended data structure. The system thereby manages an itinerary that includes non-standard services defined by the non-standard elements and standard services defined by the standard elements using the extended data record.
Abstract: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system for correcting address information. The system may include a memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include requesting an address for normalization from at least one of a current address or a residential history of a user; receiving, from a user device, a user input including requested address information responsive to the request for normalization; searching, based on the user input, a cache to determine whether a refined version of the requested address is available; returning, based on a determination that a refined version of the requested address exists in the cache, a refined address as the normalized address to the user; and beginning to transport a package to the user at the normalized address, by providing instructions to a mobile device associated with a delivery worker, to transport the package to the normalized address.
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems of route planning for package pickup and delivery includes: receiving predetermined locations in a geographic region and data representing a predetermined route connecting the predetermined locations; determining unit areas in the geographic region based on sequential nearness of the predetermined locations along the predetermined route, the unit areas including a first unit area and a second unit area, and the unit areas being configured such that all locations in the first unit area are to be visited before visiting locations of the second unit area; generating delivery patterns for determining a route connecting at least one of the unit areas, each delivery pattern including at least one of the unit areas associated with a visiting sequence; when receiving task data including target locations to visit, determining a target route using the delivery patterns and the target data; and sending the target route to a mobile apparatus.
Abstract: A device is provided which enables a courier to select one of two lists and to detect a selection of one of the two lists. A first list is provided for shipments that are to be delivered to a respective destination of the shipments by the courier and a second list is provided for shipments that are not to be delivered to a respective destination of the shipments by the courier. The device receives data that results from a scanning of at least one label that is associated with a shipment or with a group of shipments. The device adds at least one item to the selected list, each of the at least one item associated with a shipment or with a group of shipments, based on the received data. The device may perform these actions by an apparatus and/or by computer program that is executed by a processor.
Abstract: Provided are methods and apparatus for matching postal addresses. In an example, provided is a method for comparing postal addresses. The method includes receiving a first postal address, standardizing the form of the first postal address, removing a component of the first postal address to create a canonical representation of the first postal address, and utilizing a signature-based algorithm to identify at least one stored signature which substantially matches the first postal address.
Abstract: Wireless presence is used as a theft prevention mechanism for packages. When a package is shipped, the package includes a wireless security device. When the package is delivered to its final destination shipping address, the wireless security device is activated and programmed with a security credential. The security credential, though, is based on information obtained during an initial purchase. The wireless security device may thus only be deactivated by a recipient participating in the initial purchase.
Abstract: Systems and methods change a user interface for the purpose of pairing a shipping container with an item that is intended to be shipped in the shipping container. Example embodiments include a machine-implemented method for accessing a shipping request, detecting a radio signal from a candidate container using a radio receiver, detecting an impact between a pairing device and a query container using an accelerometer, determining that the query container is the candidate container, and generating a shipping record that correlates the shipping container and the item. The device can further determine that the query container is the candidate container based on the signal strength and change in signal strength of one or more signals. The device can further detect an impact between the pairing device and the query container by ranking one or more sets of acceleration data collected by the accelerometer.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method and system for wireless payment of transport fare. During operation, the system receives a request at a server from a mobile device for information of a payee's account, which is associated with a public transport and corresponds to a wireless network identifier of a wireless network located on the public transport. The server may determine information of the payee's account corresponding to the wireless network identifier. The server then sends the payee's account information to the mobile device. The system may then receive, from the mobile device, a payment order to make a payment to the payee's account.
