Abstract: A trigger assembly apparatus for a firearm which allows adjustment of the pre-travel distance a trigger travels before initiating a firing sequence and method of making the pre-travel adjustment using the apparatus disclosed herein. The apparatus generally comprises a trigger and a trigger bow, with the trigger bow having at least one threaded receptacle in a front lateral portion thereof. The pre-travel adjustment can be achieved by rotating a threaded fastener within the threaded receptacle and the method of adjusting the pre-travel can be accomplished without complete disassembly of the firearm.
Abstract: A sighting system for a firearm, configured for securing about a firearm, the sighting system housed in a housing, with a smart phone or smart device mounting platform rotatably coupled thereon, with an additional rear viewing camera, integral or attachable to an armature. This said armature, additionally passes through an open portion of a clamping device, that is attachable to a threaded base portion, of the back side of said smart device mounting platform, and is both height and angularly adjustable. This said sighting device, provides the target image that is either received from other target viewing devices mounted on the firearm, or provides its own target image, to the smart device, where this said target image is viewable by the user, from any position that the user could position himself in relation to the firearm, by means of the said rotatable smartphone or smart device mounting platform.
Abstract: A weapons and explosives detector that comprises at least one controlled magnetic field sensor (10) connected to at least one antenna (11); where this antenna (11) is configured as one electrode; and where the controlled electrostatic field sensor (10) is configured to detected a disturbance in the electrostatic field (3) generated by at least one antenna (11) connected with that sensor (10); and where at least one antenna (11) is prepared in a pole (1); or on the perimeter of the vehicle's (2) bodywork; or in an individual combat weapon; where each sensor (10) is connected to at least one control device (100).
Abstract: A trigger safety system is presented herein. The trigger safety system provides a weight pawl with a rotor that precisely blocks a trigger of a firearm from activating when the firearm is pointed toward the ground and/or pointed downward. In this way, the trigger safety system presented herein prevents those at a firing range, or those in training, or at other locations from shooting projectiles in undesirable directions. Additionally, the disclosure herein presents a biometric safety system that can be retrofit onto a variety of trigger activated devices for safety measures.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bendable projectile having a forebody unit, a rearbody unit and an articulating joint unit connecting the two units. The articulating joint unit is composed of a spherical shape body, a receiving socket and a sphere-gear assembly. The spherical shape body is fitted into the receiving socket whereby movement of the spherical shape body about the receiving socket is permitted without release of the spherical shape body from the socket. Movement of the spherical shape body inside the receiving socket is effectuated by the sphere gear assembly. The sphere-gear assembly engages the concentric grooves along the surface of the spherical shape body or the concave surface of the receiving socket. Such sphere-gear assembly is comprised of electric board, powersource, powertrain, guidance control system and gears having teeth and grooves that complement the plurality of concentric grooves on the spherical shape body.

Abstract: A modular ballistic wall system uses a military standard shipping pallet as a floor. A wall frame is rotatably affixed to the pallet. The wall frame receives and supports a plurality of modular ballistic wall panels. The wall frame folds down against the pallet when the system is in a stowed position, e.g., during transport. The wall frame is generally perpendicular to the pallet when the system is in a deployed position. The modular ballistic wall panels can be solid metal ballistic panels, ballistic panels with firing ports, or ballistic glass.
Abstract: Disclosed are an airburst munition and an airburst signal transfer device. By simply signaling information regarding a distance to an explosion location of the airburst munition to an explosion control system inside the airburst munition while the airburst munition passes through a tubular body of the airburst signal transfer device, it is possible to easily, simply, and automatically enter the information regarding the distance to the explosion location of the airburst munition to the airburst munition using the airburst signal transfer device.
Abstract: A shell feeding system for a top loading shotgun in one embodiment includes a barrel, receiver, and a magazine. The magazine includes a cavity configured to receive a plurality of ammunition shells in stacked end-to-end relationship. The magazine is positioned above the barrel and extends forward from the receiver. A load gating and locking block engages and guide each shell in a feed pathway towards the lower part of the receiver for chambering. In one embodiment, the receiver and magazine may be formed as a unitary integral structure forming a single piece.

Abstract: A device implementable on a firearm includes a one-piece sight functioning as a rear sight or a front sight when installed on the firearm. The one-piece sight includes a notch and a user-facing side configured with a first surface aligned with the notch and a second surface on two opposite sides of the first surface. The first and second surfaces are sloped at first and second angles, respectively, to reflect an ambient light at different angles.
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a firearm. Components embedded in a portion of the firearm enable the firearm to determine if a user of the firearm is authorized to do so, and either enable or disable a firing mechanism of the firearm accordingly. The firearm may also send communication signals regarding the status of the firearm or events detected by the firearm to a remote device controlled by an authorized user. The system may thereby notify the authorized user of attempted unauthorized use of the firearm, that the firearm has been left behind by the authorized user, or that the firearm is being tampered with. The system may also include multi-tag or a voice-override features that prevent the firearm from being used against the authorized user should the authorized user lose control of the firearm.

Abstract: A light alloy cartridge for ammunition made by mechanical removal of chips has a front retaining collar for retaining a projectile and a hollow body having a rim at the rear provided with a central primer hole and at the front a shoulder connecting to the collar, the hollow body having an internal surface that bounds a cavity suitable for containing the propellent, the cartridge being formed by a rear element and a front element that are structurally independent, fixed stiffly to one another, the internal surface of the hollow body having at the rim at least one notch configured to increase the volume of the cavity suitable for containing the propellent.
Abstract: A shotgun has right and left magazines from which ammunition may be fed to the action using a selector mounted on a movable fore-end chassis whose motion cycles the action. An interrupter prevents the selector from switching between magazines unless the action is in battery with the fore-end chassis fully forward toward the muzzle end of the shotgun. Respective right and left outer cut-offs on the magazines cooperate with an inner cut-off to ensure proper coordination of ammunition feed as the action is cycled by motion of the fore-end chassis. The outer cut-offs are also manually operable to permit removal of ammunition from the magazines without cycling the action.
Abstract: A safety lock for a firearm comprises a casing, a releasable locking member at a second end, and a flexible member between the first end and the second end. When the lock is installed on the firearm, the lock extends along the barrel from the chamber to the muzzle end. When in the locked position, the casing is positioned in the chamber and the flexible member extends along the barrel, an ammunition round from being loaded. The safety lock allows a user to dry fire the firearm.
Abstract: Techniques and architectures are disclosed for a gas operating system for a firearm. The system includes a barrel having a bore including a rifled portion. Attached to the barrel is a gas block. Located distally of the rifled portion of the bore is a gas expansion chamber in fluid communication with the bore and the gas block. In some examples, the gas expansion chamber includes a diameter at least twice the bore diameter. The gas block of the gas operating system, in some examples, includes a piston, where in response to receiving gases from the gas expansion chamber, the piston cycles the gas operating system.
