Abstract: A dual slider mechanism to independently adjust jewelry lengths to maintain the fit and style of a necklace. This is an article of jewelry comprised of two flexible members and two sliding members with sliding ends and fixed ends such that the sliders attach to the flexible members to permit movement along the flexible members therefore providing a functionally independent interplay between fit and style.

Abstract: A personal ornament that includes: a base portion that includes a pair of right-and-left base-side engaging ring portions, and fixes and holds a gemstone; and a frame portion that includes a pair of right-and-left frame-side engaging ring portions to be coupled to the base-side engaging ring portions, and that supports the base portion, the base portion and the gemstone being supported to be swingable with respect to the frame portion. The personal ornament also includes a protective member that protects, from an outside, at least the frame-side engaging ring portions, and coupling parts of the base-side engaging ring portions with respect to the frame-side engaging ring portions.

Abstract: One or more ring re-sizing attachments are appended to the internal circumference of a ring band so that a ring band large enough to pass over a knuckle remains comfortably fit around the finger below the knuckle. Each attachment includes a base defining an internal volume surrounded by a raised wall. A button slidingly engaged in the base internal volume defines an inner volume, and one or more springs are held in the button inner volume. As the one or more springs are compressed, the button moves into the internal volume of the base, increasing the space within the band to move the band beyond a knuckle. Once the band is beyond the knuckle, the spring(s) urge the button upwardly, causing the lips of the button to contact ledges or lips projecting from the sidewall of the base, to tighten the fit of the ring band around the finger.

The female component includes a base, a hooded portion spaced from the base and formed opposite thereto, and a peripheral wall connecting the base to the hooded portion. A pocket is formed between the base and the hooded portion. The hooded portion includes a slot formed therein. A portion of the female component is magnetically attractive. The male component includes an insertion portion and a shaft extending from the insertion portion. A portion of the male component is formed by a magnet. The male component is configured to be coupled to the female component when the magnet is magnetically coupled to the portion of the female component that is magnetically attractive, the insertion portion is received within the pocket, and the shaft is received within the slot.

Abstract: A buckle assembly has two buckle portions, each having a base body with a fastening hook and a fastening recess, and a magnet connected to the interior surface. The buckle portions are configured such that placing the interior surface of one buckle portion against the interior surface of the other buckle portion causes the magnets to engage each other and the fastening hook of each buckle portion to enter the fastening recess of the other buckle portion, to lock the two buckle portions together and prevent disengagement under tension in opposing directions parallel to a longitudinal extent of the buckle assembly. There is a fastening tenon connected to the base body and extending into the fastening recess on each of the buckle portions. The fastening hooks engage a respective one of the fastening tenons as the fastening hooks enter the fastening recesses to lock the two buckle portions together.

Abstract: An earring clip for supporting an elongated jewelry item having a substantially planar backing surface. The earring clip includes a top loop that terminates in a spherical member that is for support at a base of the pinna of the ear of the user; an intermediate section that is contiguous with the top loop and that includes at least one contact pad that is secured to the substantially planar backing surface of the elongated jewelry item in order to support the elongated jewelry item from the earring clip; and a lower loop that is contiguous with the intermediate section and that terminates in an end location. The handling member having a second axis is movably disposed in the accommodating space and movable between a first position and a second position. When located at the first position, the handling member is disposed in the accommodating space in a way that the second axis is approximately coaxial with the first axis of the connecting member. When located at the second position, the handling member is positioned on the connecting member in a way that an included angle is provided between the second axis and the first axis so that the handling member can be rotated by an external force to drive the connecting member to rotate at a to-be fastened position.

The body may be constructed of filament, such as metal wire, and may be hypoallergenic. The coils may be disposed on opposite ends of the body. An aperture may be disposed on the lower side of the body, and may be defined by a loop. A base may interface with the aperture, the interfacing base configured to interface on one side with the body and interface with a jewelry on the opposite side.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a component for attachment to an article includes an upper component that is made of a thermoplastic material having a first melting temperature and a flange member that is molded onto the upper component and made of a thermoplastic elastomer material having a second melting temperature that is lower than the first melting temperature of the upper component. The flange member extends laterally from a bottom end of the upper component so that a bottom surface of the flange member is flush with or positioned axially below a bottom surface of the upper component. The melting temperature of the thermoplastic elastomer material enables the flange member to be directly coupled to the article via heat welding and the like without substantially affecting the upper component.

The jewelry clip includes first and second parts connected by a hinge and being rotatable between open and closed states. The clip in the closed state is adapted for gripping the elongated member and in the open state is adapted for being released from the elongated member. At least one discrete spring biases the clip toward the closed state when the clip is in the open state. The clip has, in the closed state, a through hole. At least one of the first and second parts includes at least one resilient element defining at least part of an inner surface of the jewelry clip defining the through hole. When the clip is clipped onto the elongated member, the resilient element provides a frictional resistance against movement of the elongated member through the through hole.

A method for setting an aesthetic element on a support includes taking a support provided with at least one hollow, taking at least one aesthetic element, filling the hollow with a first material, making a setting hole and a gripper in the first material, and setting the aesthetic element by placing it in the hole and by deforming the gripper so as to retain the aesthetic element.
