  • Patent number: 8727592
Abstract: A light source module of the present invention is configured such that there is a through hole (23) in one longitudinal end portion of a light guide (21) that constitutes a light guide plate, into which through hole (23) a positioning pin (24) for positioning an LED light source (12) and the light guide (21) fits. Further, a guide (9) is provided to the other end portion of the light guide (21), which guide (9) restrains the light guide (21) in a direction of a short side but does not restrain the light guide (21) in a direction of a long side. This makes it possible to provide a light source module that can reduce warping and cracking caused by expansion of a light guide, and an electronic apparatus including the light source module.

  • Patent number: 8721158
Abstract: The invention provides an LCD device. The LCD device includes a frame. The frame is internally provided with a lightbar, an LGP, and a reflecting surface. A long and narrow reflecting cavity is formed between the lightbar, the reflecting surface, and the LGP, and the frame is provided with heat dissipating holes which are communicated with the outside of the LCD device in the corresponding positions of both ends of the reflecting cavity. In the invention, the frame at the open parts of both ends of the reflecting cavity is provided with heat dissipating holes, thereby forming a “chimney effect”, namely hot air rapidly rises and then is discharged from the top holes, and cold air is rapidly supplemented from the bottom holes. Thus, heat convection is accelerated, thereby improving heat dissipation effect.

  • Patent number: 8714793
Abstract: A headlight is disclosed, having separate low-beam and high beam housings. The high-beam housing includes four planar inward-facing reflectors, in the shape of a pyramid, with the high-beam LED array at the apex and a plano-convex high-beam lens at the base. The low-beam housing includes three planar inward-facing reflectors along the top and lateral sides, similarly arranged as three sides of a pyramid. The low-beam housing has one or more planar, horizontal upward-facing reflectors, disposed below the longitudinal axis of the low-beam housing. Light propagating downward from the low-beam LED array directly strikes either the incident face of the low-beam lens or exactly one upward-facing reflector. When viewed from the front of the low-beam housing, the upward-facing reflectors resemble steps that descend from a lower edge of the low-beam LED array.
