Abstract: A device may receive first information relating to a first set of transactions and a first set of chargebacks associated with the first set of transactions; process the first information to generate a processed data set; train a model to perform classification of the first set of chargebacks, where the model is to receive, as input, information relating to transactions and at least one chargeback, and where the model is to output information identifying a classification of the at least one chargeback; receive second information identifying a second set of transactions and a second set of chargebacks associated with the second set of transactions, where the second information is received from multiple, different sources; determine a classification of the second set of chargebacks using the model and based on the second information; and perform an action based on the classification of the second set of chargebacks.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for collecting tax data for an electronic tax return preparation program includes a tax logic agent reading a user data profile indexed to a user ID for a user to identify an identifier of a missing datum. The method also includes a match system identifying a data source corresponding to the identifier of the missing datum. The method further includes the match system generating a partition for the user data profile. Moreover, the method includes a dispatch system generating a target queue for the data source using the partition. The target queue includes the identifier of the missing datum. In addition, the method includes a data collector querying the data source based on the target queue to collect data corresponding to the identifier of the missing datum. The method also includes an importer generating a modified user data profile using the collected data.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, and computer readable storage media are described and disclosed. An example method includes depicting a strategy node in a graphical user interface presented by a computing device. The strategy node represents a trading strategy associated with two or more tradeable objects. The example method includes generating a graphical connector between the strategy node and one of a plurality of contract nodes including at least a first contract node and a second contract node. Each contract node represents a contract associated with one of the tradeable objects. The example method includes repositioning, in response to an input received via the graphical interface, an endpoint of the graphical connector from the first contract node specified by the trading strategy to the second contract node. The example method also includes generating an updated trading strategy based on the trading strategy and the second contract node.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for pricing a callable instrument. A plurality of corresponding pairs of Brownian motion paths and index value paths are determined corresponding to a set of dates. A deep neural network (DNN) of a backward DNN solver is trained until a convergence requirement is satisfied by for each pair of corresponding Brownian motion path and index value path, using the backward DNN solver to determine by iterating in reverse time order from a final discounted option payoff to an initial value. A statistical measure of spread of a set of initial values is determined and parameters of the DNN are modified based on the statistical measures of spread. Pricing information is determined by the backward DNN solver and provided such that a representation thereof is provided via an interactive user interface of a user computing device.

Abstract: A biometric measures profiling analytics system and method are presented. The system and method include collecting biometric data associated with a consumer, and determining one or more biometric variables representing a measurable aspect of the biometric data. The system and method further include generating, based on at least one of the one or more biometric variables, at least one biometric profile variable associated with the consumer, the at least one biometric profile variable representing a degree of normality or abnormality of the collected and calibrated biometric data as compared to a biometric history of the consumer. The system and method further include generating a behavioral score for the consumer based on the collected and calibrated biometric data and with at least one biometric profile variable, the behavioral score representing a degree of risk of normality or abnormality of an event associated with the biometric data.

Abstract: A merchant point-of-sale (“POS”) system architecture is provided. Systems and methods are provided for enabling an alternative processing network for a custom rewards transaction performed at a POS. A custom rewards transaction may be a transaction in which a customer opts-in to a merchant-funded rewards (MFR) program. Opting-in to the MFR program may terminate the customer's default enrollment in a conventional issuer-bank funded rewards program. Opting-in to the MFR program may also reroute the processing of the transaction from a conventional processing network to the alternative processing network. The alternative processing network may incur transaction fees to a merchant that are lower than the transaction fees of the conventional processing network.

Abstract: An example computing device is programmed to: (a) detect an attempt to secondarily access a user account, the user account being involved in an ongoing primary financial session with a primary device; (b) raise the level of authentication required to secondarily access the user account beyond that which was required to access the account for the primary financial session; (c) when successful authentication at the raised level is achieved, permit secondary access to the user account through a secondary financial session and compare one or more user activities occurring during the secondary financial session to a plurality of fraud profiles; and (d) indicate fraud when comparison of the user activity is consistent with one or more of the plurality of fraud profiles.

Abstract: The described technology displays, at a GUI, a graph of one or more financial curves having one or more actionable indicators indicative of one or more tradable events associated with modeling and/or trading at least one market asset or financial instrument at a financial marketplace. The one or more indicators display a current real-time market value of a tradable event associated with the market asset or financial instrument. Input is received at the GUI from a trader to perform an action associated with the financial curve. In response to receiving the input, the action is initiated and the results are displayed at the GUI.

Abstract: A financial institution computing system includes a network interface, a database storing transaction data of the user and financial data for a plurality of entities, and a processor. The processor receives location data of the mobile device the financial data for at least one of the entities, determines a financial risk of the user based on a comparison of the location of the mobile device with the location of the at least one entity and based on at least one of the financial data for the at least one entity and the transaction data of the user, generate a notification in response to the financial risk exceeding a financial risk threshold, and cause the notification to be transmitted to the mobile device. The notification indicates that the user is susceptible to a financial risk based on the location of the user with respect to the at least one entity.

Abstract: A system and method for transacting cryptographic currency is described. An exchange database associated with a number of buyers and sellers is maintained at a host computer system. Cryptographic currency is received from one or more of the sellers at an exchange wallet associated with the exchange database. A match is created within the exchange database, including a buy offer for the cryptographic currency from a buyer and a sell offer for the cryptographic currency from a seller. A cryptographic currency withdrawal request is received from the buyer, and in response, the host computer system determines that a total amount of cryptographic currency represented in the exchange database matches a total amount of the cryptographic currency within the exchange wallet, transfers the cryptographic currency to the buyer's wallet, and updates the exchange database by deducting a first value of the cryptographic currency that is transferred to the buyer's wallet.

Abstract: Within the financial-services industry, there are online centers that allow brokers to match sellers with buyers of financial instruments based on indications of interest. However, at least some of these centers are not only limited in the types of IOIs that they provide, but also in the ways they allow IOI viewers to leverage the collective IOIs of multiple entities for a given stock or financial instrument. Accordingly, the present inventors devised systems, methods, interfaces, and software that enhance the ability of such online centers, or more generally financial-information systems, to facilitate trades. One exemplary financial-information system provides an IOI which is associated with an indicator of an enhanced or heightened willingness of its issuer to actually complete a trade, thereby expediting identification of ready trading partners. Additional features include an enhanced IOI search based on desired price or quantity and a multiparty request-for-quote function.

The money advance may be used to order inventory from a supplier. This may assist the merchant in managing inventory.

In some embodiments, the input data may include the user's credit level and the current monthly payment, APR, and payoff amount associated with the user's current loan. The method further includes determining a saving amount based on a comparison of the input data with historical savings data accessible to the widget, and displaying the savings amount in the graphic user interface.
