  • Patent number: 11442948
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a system for ranking videos. Videos are identified that have been presented at client devices. For each video, session start data is identified that specifies a lead video that initiated presentation to a user during a presentation session. For each lead video, presentation times over multiple user sessions are determined, a scaled presentation time is obtained, user sessions for which the lead video initiated presentation of videos are identified, and an aggregate video presentation time attributable to the lead video is determined. For each given video, a presentation score is determined based on a scaled presentation time of the lead video relative to a sum of the aggregate video presentation times for the lead videos. The videos are ranked based on the presentation scores. A user interface is updated to present the ranked videos.

  • Patent number: 11395048
Abstract: A method and system for adding overtly human-perceptible supplemental audio content into a media stream to help mask audio effects of an audio watermark in the media stream. A method involves receiving a media stream that defines a sequence of audio content presentable by a content presentation device, modifying the media stream to produce a modified media stream that defines the sequence of audio content, and outputting the modified media stream for presentation by the content presentation device. The modified media stream includes an audio watermark that is machine-detectable to trigger an interactive event. Further, the act of modifying the media stream involves adding into the media stream supplemental audio content coincident with the audio watermark, to help mask the audio watermark in the modified media stream during presentation of the modified media stream by the content presentation device.

  • Patent number: 11388048
Abstract: Visibility of relevance of detailed configurations is improved while deterioration of the visibility of a general configuration between nodes is suppressed. A node coordinate calculation process calculates, upon calculation of deployment coordinates of each node, a degree of importance of an infrastructure resource and a degree of importance of an application, and weights the distance between the application node and the infrastructure node with the reciprocal of the degree of importance of the infrastructure node. Then, the node coordinate calculation process determines deployment of the application node such that the application node is deployed in the proximity of a comparatively important infrastructure node, and determines deployment of the application node on the basis of the degrees of importance of the applications such that a comparatively important application is deployed closely to the infrastructure node.

  • Patent number: 11277378
Abstract: Devices residing in different networks communicate with one another using inter-network communication. A host may transmit a first packet to a gateway and the gateway may transform it into a second packet. When creating the second packet, the gateway may transmit a request to an address mapper for a mapped address. The mapped address includes a native address or a system address. The system address includes another native address as well as a reference value. The reference value is associated with the host, includes an opaque binary value of an arbitrary size, and is subdivided into multiple fields associated with the host. In response to the mapped address being the system address, the address mapping engine obtains the system address. In response to the mapped address being the native address, the address mapping engine obtains the native address. The native address is determined in view of an existing network protocol.
