  • Patent number: 6841943
Abstract: A plasma in a vacuum chamber where a workpiece is processed is bounded by a plasma confinement volume including a region between a first electrode simultaneously responsive to power at first and second RF frequencies and a DC grounded second electrode. A DC grounded extension is substantially aligned with the first electrode. A substantial percentage of power at the first frequency is coupled to a path including the first and second electrodes but not the extension while a substantial percentage of power at the second frequency is coupled to a path including the first electrodes and extension, but not the second electrode. Changing the relative powers at the first and second frequencies, as applied to the first electrode, controls DC bias voltage of the first electrode.

  • Patent number: 6841944
Abstract: A diagnostic and configuration identification system for an electrical device and a Photo-controller which automatically turns the electrical device on and off in response to ambient light levels. A detector senses the load drawn by the electrical device when it is on. A processor is responsive to the load drawn by the electrical device when it is on and programmed to detect a cycling fault condition based on the load drawn by the electrical device and to provide an indication of a cycling fault condition according several possible programming configurations. When no cycling or other fault condition is detected the processor determines the cycling fault condition indication configuration and then outputs a cycling signal indicative of the program configuration.

  • Patent number: 6836076
Abstract: A disclosed exposure device performs controlling exposing dose by gradations of {n×(m−1)+1} stages representing shadow to highlight for each color when exposing the maximum n times under a condition that every light-emitting element is exposure-gradation controlled independently at m-stages. When a silver halide photosensitive material is used as a photosensitive material, light sensitivity is high in the order of red, green and blue. The number of aligned rows of red light-emitting elements is greater than those of aligned rows of other colors for reducing the light-emitting intensity on a time-average basis for every red light-emitting element. The area of red light-emitting elements and the area of green and blue light-emitting elements are simultaneously and independently passive-matrix driven by corresponding driving circuits. Of each light-emitting element, the driving duty improves and the peak light-emitting intensity reduces.
