  • Patent number: 9683695
Abstract: An electric fence monitoring system includes an electric fence monitor and an electric fence monitor mounting bracket. The electric fence monitor is operable to provide an audible and/or visual indicator of an operating condition (i.e., fault or no-fault) of an electric fence and electric fence box. The electric fence monitor is operable to remain continuously connected between the electric fence and earth ground during normal operation of the fence. The mounting bracket affixes to a standard safety post or T-post and supports the electric fence monitor. The mounting bracket connects the electric fence monitor to earth ground via the T-post. The mounting bracket slips over a top of the T-post at a first angle relative to the T-post and locks onto the T-post at a second angle relative to the T-post.

  • Patent number: 9667212
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of a method illustrates a gain control method executed in a wireless signal receiver. The gain control method has the following steps. A wideband channel is continuously monitored to check whether an interference signal exists in a wireless signal. When the interference signal exists in the wireless signal, an interference received signal strength indicator is obtained. A front end gain of the wireless signal receiver is controlled according to the interference received signal strength indicator. When the interference signal exists in the wireless signal, the wireless signal receiver is prohibited from using a maximum front end gain.

  • Patent number: 9659194
Abstract: A method and system for dividing a set of tagged items into subsets. Each tagged item is tagged with a passive RFID tag. A RFID reader is instructed to poll the RFID tags of all tagged items in a specified region having fixed boundaries to generate information including, for each tagged item, a spatial location of each tagged item and a list of all other tagged items in the region which are adjacent to each tagged item. The region is split into non-overlapping subregions. For each subregion, a central tagged item having more adjacent tagged items in each subregion than any other tagged item in each subregion is determined, utilizing the generated information. A virtual boundary is outlined around the central tagged item to enclose the central tagged item and a portion of the tagged items in each subregion which are adjacent to the central tagged item.

  • Patent number: 9661478
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for implementing a group call service. A user equipment of the trunking group call service receives group configuration information and a downlink assignment message and/or an uplink grant message from an evolved cell. The user equipment saves the group configuration information and the downlink assignment message and/or the uplink grant message. If the user equipment is in a group receive state at different points of time, trunking group call service data is saved by sharing a downlink resource, indicated by the downlink assignment message, with another user equipment in the group in a semi-persistent scheduling manner according to the group configuration information.
