Abstract: Swimming goggles include a frame body, lenses, buckles attached to left and right portions of the frame body, and a head strap passed through the buckles. Each of the buckles has a base having a connecting portion and a guiding portion, and an operating portion. With the head strap being frictional engaged with the guiding portions and retained by the operating portion and being stretched after wearing of the swimming goggles, the head strap is adjustable through the buckles without taking off the swimming goggles, so as to provide a quick and easy adjustment, and a lower cost of manufacturing because of simplified structure.

Abstract: An article of footwear with an undulating sole provides a different and unique ride and/or feel to the article of footwear, while also providing a unique aesthetic appeal and adequate cushioning and support. The midsole has an undulating shape substantially similar to a sine wave with a series of alternating peaks and troughs.

Abstract: An archery arm guard system for protecting an arm of an archer features a panel. A panel posterior edge features a concave arcuate shape. The panel is constructed from a low-friction flexible material. The system features a first aperture, a second aperture, a third aperture, and a fourth aperture. The system features a first retaining strap and a second retaining strap with a first strap first component located in the first aperture and a first strap second component located in the second aperture. A second strap first component is located in the third aperture and a second strap second component is located in the fourth aperture.

Abstract: Protective garments are disclosed having an inner lining with high lubricity and high strength characteristics. The inner lining, in one embodiment, contains spun yarns combined with para-aramid multifilament yarns. The spun yarns may also contain flame resistant fibers, such as meta-aramid fibers, FR cellulose fibers, or mixtures thereof. The para-aramid filament yarns provide excellent strength characteristics to the fabric. In addition, in some embodiments, the multifilament yarns may enhance the fire resistant properties of the fabric. In one embodiment, the para-aramid filament yarns may have less than five twists per inch, such as from about 1 twist per inch to about four twists per inch.

Abstract: An attachable/detachable sleeve removably secured to the bra strap of the wearer before the wearer puts on the desired article of clothing. The sleeve can be constructed of a sheer fabric, such as, but not limited to, a chiffon-like material, that drapes over the shoulder and gives partial concealment or a veil like coverage as a short sleeve in a fashionable manner. With the article of clothing on the wearer, the sleeve appears as if it was always part of the original design of the clothing and the article of clothing covers the securement of the sleeve to the bra strap. The sleeve offers versatility as it can attach and remove easily from the bra strap and provides a unique fashion accessory that creates a comfortable solution to enhance and transform any outfit from daytime to evening.

Abstract: A customizable pointe shoe insert is provided. Such an insert achieves a “perfect fit” that is customized to each dancer's foot by using a moldable material to substantially fill the voids within the box of the shoe, so weight is optimally distributed across a greater percentage of the surface of the forefoot when en pointe. An insert may be constructed from an impression material that when applied, precisely contours itself to the foot and then quickly chemically cures into a rubbery, resilient solid. The design allows a dancer to self-mold the insert and apply the material according to her personal preferences. The insert may further be associated with a fabric covering that serves to hold the moldable material in place during molding and/or to provide structural support in areas of thin moldable material. The insert may further be integrated with one or more spacers for positioning in between adjacent toes.

Abstract: The shoe includes a shoe upper and a sole connected to the shoe upper. The sole includes an upper sole element, and a lower sole element. The shoe also includes an elongated spring element attached at both ends to the shoe upper, or attached at one to the shoe upper and the other end to the upper side element. The elongated spring element exerts a force on the upper sole element to pull the upper sole element away from the lower sole element. The upper sole element has a surface on which the sole of a foot of a wearer of the shoe rests during use of the shoe. The upper sole element rests on the lower sole element during use of the shoe due to the weight of the wearer of the shoe. The elongated spring element pulls at least a part of the upper sole element away from the lower sole element to separate the part of the upper sole element from the lower sole element, during non-use of the shoe. The elongated spring element can be a rubber band.

Abstract: A footwear item (1) for tilting a wearer's foot to address bio-mechanical problems. The item includes a foot receiving component (2) for receiving all or part of a wearer=s foot. The item also includes first and second wedge components (4,5), each having first and second respectively inclined surfaces (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b), the first surface (4a) of the first wedge component being mountable against a lower surface of the foot receiving component, and the first surface (5a) of the second wedge component being mountable against the second surface (5b) of the first wedge component. The mounted position of the second wedge component on the first wedge component is rotationally adjustable about an axis perpendicular to the second surface of the first wedge component, for altering the angle of inclination of the second surface (5b) of the second wedge component with respect to the first surface (4a) of the first wedge component, to thereby apply an adjustable tilt to the foot receiving component.

Abstract: A system for protecting eye glass frames during a hair dye, coloring, or highlighting process is described. The system includes a support layer, a pair of gloves laminated onto the support layer, and a pair of eyeglass arm protectors laminated onto the support layer. Each eyeglass arm protector is formed as a sleeve having an open end. An apparatus and method are also disclosed for manufacturing sections of a support layer material, each section having a pair of gloves and a pair of eyeglass arm protectors laminated thereto. Also disclosed is a system for providing laminated gloves one over the other, having a carrier sheet and a pair of gloves on the carrier sheet, the pair of gloves having a top glove and a bottom glove. The top glove overlaps the bottom glove and is laminated directly on the bottom glove, without the gloves being sealed together, and the gloves are the same hand size.

Abstract: A skydiving helmet includes a lens for protecting the face of a skydiver during a skydiving event. An air-intake hole is formed on the helmet, and an airflow deflector plate is positioned against the air-intake hole. Thus, the deflector plate directs air over the inside surface of the lens to prevent fog from forming on this surface during a skydiving event.

Abstract: Provided is a protective headwear that includes a body, pocket band and protective inserts. The body has an opening and a crown, and is configured to fit a person's head. The pocket band has a circumference and extends about the opening to an interior of the body and partially toward the crown. The pocket band is secured to the body by a base stitching about the circumference. The pocket band is free floating from the base stitching toward the crown with respect to the interior of the body and configured to fit the person's head. The pocket band also includes pockets disposed about the base stitching. The protective inserts are configured to be received into the pockets to provide a protective function to the person's head. The protective inserts are disposed adjacently to one another about the pocket band and extend from the base stitching toward the crown.

Abstract: The present plate carrier includes front and rear panel sections with internal pockets for supporting ballistic plates and inserts, but positions the rear panel section to provide improved thoracic protection. The front and rear panel sections are suspended by shoulder straps, which connect to the rear panel section at a mid point below the top edge of the rear panel section. The mid point connection of the shoulder straps causes the rear panel section to ride higher than the front panel section and higher on the wearer's back thereby positioning the ballistic plate inside high on the wearer's back and providing better ballistic coverage of the wearer's upper thoracic area. One of the internal pockets of each panel section has facing strips of hook and loop material sewn around its inner periphery that adhere together around a ballistic plate to center and hold the plate in place within the pocket.

Abstract: A shoe that includes an upper portion with an inlet, a tongue extending substantially along the inlet, and a tongue retaining unit associated with the tongue, which at least hinders the tongue from slipping sideways when the shoe is laced. According to the invention, at least one retaining element is associated with at least one of the edges of the inlet, wherein the retaining element may be brought into form-fitting retaining engagement with the tongue retaining unit, such that it exerts a pulling force on the tongue retaining unit at least when the tongue shifts from a desired position in a direction away from the associated edge when the shoe is laced.

Abstract: A head covering made from a stretchable fabric forming an elongated tubular shaped article. The head covering has a front opening with a band portion to secure the head covering to a head. The head covering securely extends around the head and extends the full length of the hair to a back opening. The head covering is designed to circumferentially surround fully extended hair along the entire length of the hair. The head covering is designed to permit configuration flexibility, allowing it to protect hair, prevent user distraction from blowing hair, and permit for the safe wearing of a head apparatus.

Abstract: The rubber glove according to the present invention includes: a sleeve portion generally in the form of a cylinder having a first end and a second end and provided with a cuff formed on the first end; and a glove body linked to the second end of the sleeve portion, wherein the sleeve portion and the glove body are integrally formed by a film of rubber or resin, and the sleeve portion includes a maximum perimeter portion of 240 mm to 360 mm and a drawn portion having a minimum perimeter portion of 50 to 90% of the maximum perimeter portion in length.

Abstract: Trousers provide more comfort for a user than traditional pants. The trousers comprise widefly jeans mechanically coupled to an adjustable waistband fastened by four riveted buttons. The adjustable waistband is mechanically coupled to a quick release front flap by a hook and loop fastener. The quick release front flap travels from the adjustable waistband to an area behind a user's scrotum. The user can easily open and close the widefly jeans with a single hand by simply uncoupling the adjustable waistband from the widefly jeans and removing the front flap by uncoupling the hook and loop fastener. This enables the user to access an inside of widefly jeans with the single hand and to urinate or without removing the trousers. Additionally, pockets are affixed to the widefly jeans that are partially removable with a hook and loop fastener and can store a wallet or armor or a GPS.

Abstract: A smart surfing suit includes an elastic garment which is impermeable to water, a reservoir to provide drinking fluid to a surfer via a flexible tube, protective pads, interior pockets, and exterior sealable pockets. The reservoir has internal vertical channels connected at the bottom by a horizontal channel. In an embodiment, light reflectors are attached to the garment to help identify the surfer in a rescue operation. In various embodiments, the suit covers the hands and legs of the surfer and is made of different colored materials.

Abstract: A towel has a linear top edge of a first arm cover affixed to a base sheet at an angle with respect to the top lengthwise edge of the base sheet. A bottom, arced edge of the first arm cover is affixed to the base sheet forming a first arm channel having a first shoulder central of the base sheet and having a first wrist opening proximal to a first edge of the base sheet. A linear top edge of a second arm cover is affixed to the base sheet at an angle with respect to the top lengthwise edge of the base sheet. A bottom, arced edge of the second arm cover is affixed to the base sheet forming a second arm channel that has a second shoulder opening central to the base sheet and a second wrist opening proximal to a second edge of the base sheet.

Abstract: Wrist guards configured for providing support to a user's wrist are disclosed. An illustrative wrist guard includes a wrist pad having a dorsal section configured for placement adjacent to the anterior side of the user's wrist and a palmar section configured for placement adjacent to the posterior side of the wrist. A number of stiffener elements coupled to the dorsal section of the wrist pad provide support against hyperextension of the user's wrist.

Abstract: Goggles, goggle attachment systems, and helmets are described. One such goggle attachment system includes an attachment post and a resilient goggle strap tab. The attachment post includes a post portion and a stop and the goggle strap tab includes an opening. The goggle strap tab is configured to be stretched and the opening pulled over the stop and onto to the post portion. The goggle strap tab is retained on the post portion by the stop. An example goggle includes a frame, a resilient strap attached to the frame, and a resilient goggle strap tab attached to the strap. The goggle strap tab having an opening disposed between a strap tab and a tab pull. The goggle strap tab is configured to stretch when pulled by the tab pull along a longitudinal axis and the opening being asymmetrical about an axis substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis when stretched.
