In one embodiment, the video game application may be operated by a user that is concurrently viewing media content. The video game application captures an audio signal from the concurrently-playing media content, performs content recognition on the captured audio signal, and determines whether to unlock one or more portions of in-game content based on the identified media content.

The data to mask is detected by matching it to one or more defined patterns and then validating it, in the case of the data being a financial account or credit card account number, by using a validation process, such as the Luhn algorithm. Among others, the defined event may be a transmission of the data between a host computer system and a terminal emulator, an entry of the data into a host screen, or an export of a set of host screen data to an external application by an end user computer system.

Existing methods for creating virtual packages may require the use of an expert or may not be reliable. In some embodiments, a dehydrator is use to create a recipe. The dehydrator may take as input a reference virtual package and install media for the application and output a recipe that may be used to create a particular virtual package for a particular operating system and/or environment. In some embodiments, a rehydrator may be used to create a particular virtual package from a recipe. The rehydrator may take as input a recipe and install media for an application and output a particular virtual package for a particular operating system and/or environment.

Abstract: Methods and systems for attributing contributions to digital marketing campaigns in achieving an action are described. In one or more implementations, first, second, and third order probabilities of a user taking the action are computed for each of a plurality of campaigns of a campaign path. Based on the probabilities, contributions are attributed to the campaigns of the campaign path in achieving the action.

Abstract: An online system optimizes selection content items for a user based on total value of presenting a selected content item, rather than discrete actions with the content item. To account for the total value of presenting a content item, the online system receives information from a third party system associated with the content item identifying actions by users captured by the third party system and values associated with the identified actions. The online system matches the identified actions with presentations of the content item to various users by identifying users of the online system corresponding to information identifying users received from the third party system and retrieves information describing presentation of content items to the information identifying presentation of content items. Based on historical actions and presentations of a content item, the online system obtains a model determining value of presenting a content item for use in selecting content.

Each mathematical operation encryption number represents a mathematical encryption operation that is different from mathematical encryption operations represented by all other mathematical operation encryption numbers. Each piece is encrypted using a mathematical encryption operation represented by the mathematical operation encryption number assigned to the piece in order to produce a plurality of transformed data pieces.

Abstract: Systems and methods for individualized distribution of digital content to purchasers via portable kiosks are described. The systems contain a storage device for storing the digital content and distribution devices for distributing the digital content to a user. The distribution devices can be configured to be portable so that users who are not mobile can access the distribution device. As well, the users can use a receiving device containing unique identification data to receive and access the digital content. Such a system is extremely useful for users who are not mobile and whose use of the distribution devices needs to be controlled, such as detainees in a corrections facility. Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for distributing content items. In one aspect, a method includes receiving user interaction data specifying user interactions with a publisher resource. A heat map specifying levels of user interaction with various portions of the publisher resource is created. Content item slot performance information specifying one or more performance measures for content items presented in various candidate content item slot locations are identified. One of the candidate content item slot locations is selected based on the heat map and the one or more performance measures. Data that cause presentation of suggestion information that identify the one candidate content item slot location as a suggested content item slot location are generated and output.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a pay-for-visit billing model for advertisements is provided. The advertisement system provides advertisements that have associated physical visit locations. The advertisement system provides advertisements to a mobile device or fixed of a user when the user is in the vicinity of or examining locations in the vicinity of the visit location. If the user subsequently visits the visit location of the advertisement by physically going to the location, the advertisement system then bills the advertiser for the advertisement. The advertisement system bills the advertiser under the assumption that but for the advertisement, the user would not have visited the visit location.

Abstract: A system may include a promotions server for storing a brand-based beverage promotional offer and a mobile wireless communications device associated with a user. The system may also include a point-of-sale (POS) terminal located at a beverage serving establishment for acquiring user identification information, opening a user beverage tab and communicating the user identification information to the promotions server, and closing and communicating the user beverage tab to the promotions server. The user beverage tab may identify a brand of a beverage ordered by the user. The promotions server may determine that the mobile device is at the beverage serving establishment and send a notification of the brand-based beverage promotional offer to the mobile device. The promotions server may also determine that the brand of beverage ordered by the user matches the brand-based beverage promotional offer and communicate the brand-based beverage promotional offer to the POS terminal for redemption thereat.

The jukebox system may also act as a monitoring/management device for other coin operated equipment present in a location where the jukebox is located, thereby enabling the jukebox device to perform updates on other equipment under control of the central server.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for creating a customer specific business offer template. In use, a customer inquiry corresponding to at least one product or service associated with a business is received, the customer inquiry including information associated with requirements of the customer. Additionally, a currently available product or service associated with the business is selected based on the customer inquiry, the currently available product or service including a standard offering associated with the business. Further, the currently available product or service is modified to correlate with the information associated with the requirements of the customer in order to create a customer specific business offer. Moreover, the customer specific business offer is saved as a template to use for the customer.
