Abstract: A system for navigation detection and inclination measurement of advanced hydraulic supports, including a detection device module, a signal transfer transmission module, connected to the detection device module, and used to integrate ultrasonic signals and inclination signals received from all advanced hydraulic supports and then wirelessly transmit all the signals to an analysis and processing module. The analysis and processing module, connected to the signal transfer transmission module, and used to receive the signals from the signal integration and transmission device for analysis, where if an analysis result shows an abnormal situation, an alarm will b e immediately given to a worker. If the analysis result shows a continuous abnormal situation, or a relatively large value indicating the abnormal situation is generated, a command will be immediately sent to make the advanced hydraulic supports stop operating in a current mode.

Abstract: A method for milling off traffic areas with a milling drum of a milling machine comprises: obtaining and storing target profile data of a desired target profile of a surface of the traffic area in target condition, wherein target values for a locally desired milling depth are assigned to position data in a stationary coordinate system independent of the milling machine; determining the current position of the milling drum in the coordinate system and detecting a current milling depth; during the milling operation, controlling the milling depth as a function of the target value assigned to the current position of the milling drum and the currently detected milling depth; updating the target profile data in the current position of the milling drum on the worked traffic area by the currently actually milled milling depth; and storing the updated target profile data.

Abstract: A milling machine can include a frame; a rotor attached to the frame; vertically adjustable legs to raise and lower the rotor, each of the vertically adjustable legs with a track or wheel at a lower end to propel the milling machine; and a mechanism associated with at least one of the vertically adjustable legs to mechanically store and recall a leg height selected by an operator of the milling machine.
Abstract: A process to use the tailings as construction material giving it waterproofing characteristics and reduce its cracking is presented. For example, to use the mining tailing as a construction material conceding to it impermeabilizing features, reducing its cracking and increasing its resistance. The main stages of said process are to apply a calcium-containing solution to the soil to be treated; apply a solution that that contains calcite-producing bacteria, to the soil to be treated; optionally, add maltodextrin; and stabilize, compact and dry off the mix.

Abstract: Methods and systems of monitoring and controlling a longwall mining system. One system includes a shearer including a cutter drum and a sensor mounted to the shearer. The system also includes an electronic controller including a processor and a memory, the electronic controller communicatively coupled to the sensor. The electronic controller is configured to receive vibration data from the sensor and determine a current vibration level experienced by the cutter drum. The electronic controller is also configured to compare the current vibration level to a target vibration threshold associated with a target material seam. The electronic controller is also configured to provide a visual output to an operator of the longwall mining system when the current vibration level exceeds the target vibration threshold, where the current vibration level exceeds the target vibration threshold when the cutter drum of the shearer cuts outside of the target material seam.
Abstract: A plastic leaching chamber is provided and includes a chamber substrate constructed from a PET material and having opposing side base flanges which lie in a horizontal plane and extend lengthwise along the chamber substrate. The chamber substrate includes opposing sidewalls extending upwardly from each of the opposing side base flanges to a top of the chamber substrate and includes a lengthwise center plane which is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The opposing sidewalls define a plurality of leaching openings having at least one tab slot opening located proximate thereto, and a plurality of louver articles constructed from at least one of a PE and a PP material. Each of the louver articles include a tab which is configured to engage a tab slot opening to securely associate the plurality of louver articles with the chamber substrate to cover the at least one leach opening.

Abstract: Composite particles of a hard core coated by a layer of hydratable, swellable clay such as bentonite are useful for constructing, modifying and/or supporting lifeline structure such as dams, berms and levees, and/or pipelines or conduits for oil, gas, sewage, water, or cables or wires for transmission of electrical power or data information. The method involves placing the composite particles in a location within, below, or about the lifeline structure, and hydrating them to cause them to swell and fill and seal the voids around the structure to form a resilient support having a high damping ratio and low hydraulic conductivity that is maintained after exposure to strain forces. The composite particles are advantageous in damping seismic waves and reducing the potential damage from an earthquake, explosion, tremor, fatigue loading, or similar seismic event.

Abstract: An automatic coal mining machine and a fluidized coal mining method are provided. A first excavation cabin is configured to cut coal seam to obtain raw coal and to be transported to a first coal preparation cabin for separating coal blocks from gangue. Then, the obtained coal blocks are transported to a first fluidized conversion reaction cabin. The first fluidized conversion reaction cabin converts the energy form of the coal block into liquid, gas or electric energy, which is transported to a first energy storage cabin for storing. Coal mining and conversion are carried out in underground coal mines, so it is not necessary to raise coal blocks to the ground for washing and conversion, thereby reducing the transportation cost of coal, improving the utilization degree of coal, and avoiding the pollution of the ground environment caused by waste in the mining and conversion process.

The method has low cost, high disposal efficiency, simple device structure, high usability, safety and reliability, and an effective reduction in nuclear waste contamination and hazards to the environment.

The unfolded mesh is clamped on the mesh rolling shaft, and is pressed on a cut un-supported tunnel roof via a roof bolt. The mesh rolling shaft is rotatably connected to a top portion of the height adjustment post. The mesh roll storage rack and the height adjustment post are both mounted on the continuous miner. The mesh rolling shaft is located at a back end of the mesh roll storage rack. A limit mechanism and a damping mechanism are disposed on the mesh rolling shaft.
