Abstract: A method for multi-intent searching includes surfacing, via a web browser provided through a network, a search engine UI in a first browser tab, where the search engine UI includes a search box for specifying a search query. The method includes, responsive to user input, entering keystrokes into the search box, surfacing an autocomplete menu adjacent to the search box, and populating the autocomplete menu with suggested search queries related to the entered keystrokes. The method also includes surfacing a pop-out icon corresponding to each suggested search query within the autocomplete menu and, responsive to additional user input including a selection of the pop-out icon corresponding to one of the suggested search queries, launching a second browser tab including search results for the suggested search query, where the autocomplete menu with the suggested search queries is maintained within the first browser tab after the launching of the second browser tab.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to a method, system, and programming for providing content. A plurality of content items and publication information related thereto are obtained. For each of the plurality of content items, one or more topics are determined in accordance with a model. The related publication information associated with each content item is analyzed to identify at least one source of a plurality of sources that published the content item. A distribution is generated of each of the plurality of content items with respect to the plurality of sources and the one or more topics of the content item, and a bias of a source with respect to publishing content is identified based on the distributions of the plurality of content items.

Abstract: A computing system receives an indication that a user has selected a passage shown on a search engine results page (SERP) presented on a display. Upon receiving the indication, the computing system identifies a plurality of suggested queries related to the passage, where the plurality of suggested queries are generated based upon the passage and an entry for an entity in a knowledge graph. Upon identifying the plurality of suggested queries, the computing system presents the plurality of suggested queries in a pop-up graphical element that overlays a portion of the SERP, where the pop-up graphical element is located proximate to the passage shown on the SERP. When a query in the plurality of suggested queries is selected, a second SERP is presented on the display, where the second SERP is based upon the query.

Abstract: An apparatus for generation of an integrated data file, wherein the apparatus includes at least a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor, the memory containing instructions configuring the at least a processor to receive content data from a user, receive preference data from the user as a function of receipt of the content data, create a plurality of templates as a function of the preference data and the content data, receive user feedback associated with the plurality of templates, generate one or more updated templates as function of the user feedback and the plurality of templates, generate an integrated data file as a function of one or more updated templates and transmit the integrated data file to one or more content producers.

First classification part classifies first target data into at least one of a plurality of first classes. Second classification part classifies second target data into at least one of a plurality of second classes. Determination part decides whether to use one or both of a first classification result that is a classification result obtained by first classification part and a second classification result that is a classification result obtained by second classification part, and determines a class of object based on one or both of them. The first target data is image data of object. The second target data is manufacturing data regarding a manufacturing condition of object.

Abstract: An attribute information setting section loads information indicating whether or not access to each of a plurality of files is allowed, into a memory. A readout request receiving section receives a readout request including a file path from a program. A hash value deriving section derives a hash value of a file path included in the readout request. A file confirming section confirms whether or not the derived hash value matches with one of hash values of the files included in software. A determining section refers to the information loaded into the memory by the attribute information setting section in a case in which matching of the hash values is confirmed, to thereby determine whether or not a process on the file which has been subjected to the readout request is executable.

Multiple choreographed services emit multiple event messages. The plurality of choreographed services operate independently of each other based on a plurality of events triggered in a data platform. The plurality of events relate to contents of the dataset and comprising the correlation identifier. A message storage is populated with multiple status updates related to the correlation identifier. A status message associated with the correlation identifier is published in response to a status update of the plurality of status updates.

Abstract: A method of retrieving a query, an electronic device, and a medium are provided, which relate to fields of intelligent searching, intelligent recommendation, natural language processing, etc. The method of retrieving a query includes: processing a query to be retrieved, so as to obtain a first processing result for the query to be retrieved, the first processing result containing a first text information and a first semantic information; comparing the first processing result with a second processing result of each of at least one candidate query, so as to obtain a comparison result, the second processing result containing a second text information and a second semantic information; determining a target query from the at least one candidate query based on the comparison result; and determining at least one of the target query or an answer corresponding to the target query as a retrieving result.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided personalizing recommendations of items with associated explanations. The example embodiments described herein use contextual bandits to personalize explainable recommendations (“recsplanations”) as treatments (“Bart”). Bart learns and predicts satisfaction (e.g., click-through rate, consumption probability) for any combination of item, explanation, and context and, through logging and contextual bandit retraining, can learn from its mistakes in an online setting.

Abstract: A distributed transaction and data storage platform including a distributed notary ledger or blockchain and one or more individual user micro-identifier chains that together enable the secure effectuation and recordation of one or more transactions, and/or storage of data in an automated, real-time, zero-trust, globally data law and privacy law centric manner while maintaining transaction party confidentiality and preventing chain poisoning.

Abstract: A buried object information management unit manages information about a buried object included in a search image showing the presence or absence of the buried object in a wall surface generated by a buried object scanning device that is scanned along a wall surface, and comprises a data receiving unit, an input unit, and a collation unit. The data receiving unit acquires search information including the search image generated by the buried object scanning device. To the input unit is inputted construction information including position information about the buried object in the wall surface. The collation unit collates the search information acquired by the data receiving unit with the construction information inputted to the input unit, and determines whether or not there is a match.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for processing map information, a device, and a storage medium which relate to the field of computer technology and, in particular, to the fields of intelligent transportation and computer vision technology. The specific implementation includes that an object in an image for query is recognized to obtain an object recognition result and that a target point of interest matching the image for query is selected from at least one candidate point of interest of an electronic map according to the object recognition result.

Abstract: A database management engine provides a user interface that allows users to access and modify employee information in a database. The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee. Before modifying a database entry, the engine modifies the user interface to include interface elements detailing the computed aggregate tax liability. The user explicitly can be required to confirm the database modification in view of the aggregate tax liability.

Abstract: It is possible to realize navigation that employs map representation data acquired using a captured map photograph, with a map representation data processing device including: a photograph reception unit that receives a map photograph from a terminal device; a determination unit that searches a navigation information group that contains two or more pieces of navigation information that contain map representation data and two or more pieces of correspondence information that are each a set of coordinate information and position information on the map representation data, and determines a piece of navigation information that has a relationship that satisfies a first condition, with the map photograph; and a navigation information transmission unit that transmits the piece of navigation information determined by the determination unit, to the terminal device.

A previous state of the storage storing key-object entries is analyzed to identify parallelization partition identifiers. At least a portion of the partition identifiers is used as boundaries between subgroups of the key-object entries processed in parallel to perform the backup of the current state of the storage.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a surface mount data conversion method, system, medium and apparatus based on a component three-dimensional database. The surface mount data conversion method based on a component three-dimensional database includes: creating a component 3D database required in a circuit board designing stage and creating a production process template library required in a circuit board production stage; and performing data conversion on the component 3D database and the production process template library to generate a component image library for use in the production stage. The present disclosure can avoid repeated work, achieve real-time update and match of production data, and reduce the error rate caused by the production data during circuit board production.

Abstract: Metadata of each file of a group of files of a storage and chunk file metadata are analyzed to identify one or more file segment data chunks that are not referenced by the group of files of the storage. Fragmented chunk files to be combined together are identified based at least in part on the one or more identified file segment data chunks. The chunk file metadata is updated with an update that concurrently reflects the removal of at least a portion of the one or more file segment data chunks that are not referenced by the group of files and the combination of the identified fragmented chunk files.
