The system can send a second indication to a first component that manages provisioning of the asset to provision the asset, the first component operating in a first namespace. The system can, based on the first component determining that the asset depends on a computing service, receiving a third indication from the first component that is directed to a second component that manages provisioning of the computing service, the second component operating in a second namespace that is separate from the first namespace. The system can send a fourth indication to the second component to provision the computing service for the asset.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for routing payment transactions of a payment account. After the payment transaction is initiated, a payment server identifies flag information from the payment request indicating a payment account to be multi-configurable. When the payment server identifies that the payment request is from the POS device, the payment server retrieves primary configuration details corresponding to the payment account from a routing service and routes the payment transaction for the payment request to an issuer corresponding to the primary configuration details. Further, when the payment server identifies that the payment request is from a payment gateway, the payment server retrieves a list of names of configuration details corresponding to the payment account from the routing service for selection.

Abstract: Provided is a computer-implemented method for communicating transaction data between mobile devices, including: registering account data associated with a merchant account corresponding to short message service (SMS) device data associated with a point-of-sale (POS) device, and account data associated with a user account as corresponding to SMS device data associated with a user device; receiving, via an SMS communication connection, transaction data associated with a transaction from the POS device, verifying the POS device and the user device are registered; in response to determining that an account balance of the user account is greater than the transaction authorization limit, transmitting a first confirmation message associated with the transaction, via an SMS communication connection, to the user device to confirm the transaction; and in response to receiving a first confirmation response associated with the transaction, via an SMS communication connection, processing the transaction data.

Abstract: A scanner is integrated as a peripheral device into a POS terminal. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are selectively activated and deactivated during item scanning for items being processed during a transaction at the POS terminal. The activation and deactivation of the LEDs are visible to an overhead security camera during the transaction. The selective activation and deactivation providing indications during the transaction as to whether the items are successfully scanned or unsuccessfully scanned during the transaction as the items are passed in front of at least one scan window of the scanner.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for aiding compliance with tax collection and reporting obligations. Distributed ledgers may assist with the verified calculation of taxes owed through the use of identity wallets and cryptocurrency transactions may be employed to effectuate payment to sellers as well as payment of taxes owed to the appropriate tax authorities. Verification of identity sources and of tax calculation and transmission engines may reduce compliance obligations on the part of sellers.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods for validating hardware modifications of an IHS (Information Handling System) by confirming that a hardware modification corresponds to a hardware component supplied for installation in the IHS by a trusted entity. During factory provisioning of an IHS, an inventory certificate that specifies the factory installed IHS hardware is uploaded to the IHS and is also stored for ongoing support of the IHS. Upon a hardware component being supplied for installation in the IHS by a trusted entity, the inventory of the stored inventory certificate is updated to identify the supplied component and the updated certificate is transmitted to the IHS. An inventory of detected hardware components of the IHS is compared against the inventory from the updated inventory certificate in order to validate the detected hardware of the IHS includes the component, supplied by the trusted entity, that is identified in the updated inventory certificate.

Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, systems for enabling physical retail stores and other facilities to implement automated-checkout techniques for the purchase of items that are priced per unit weight. For example, the described systems may enable a facility to implement technology where users are able to remove items from inventory locations, where the inventory locations include weight sensors detecting the weights of the items that were removed. The system then determines the prices based on the weights and charges the users for the prices of the items without performing manual checkout of the items. The price of an item is determined based on the weight of the item and the price per unit weight of the item. The systems described herein thus enable customized retail facilities, as opposed to a retail facility that allows automated-checkout only for prepackaged-type or otherwise non-customizable merchandise.

Abstract: Wireless communication and proximity-based feedback technologies are disclosed. In some examples, a system identifies that a wireless communication interface has received wireless signal(s) for conveying information from a transaction object in response to proximity between the transaction object and the interface. The system identifies, based on relative signal strength of the signal(s) as received at each of a plurality of antennae of the interface, an indication of a relative position of the transaction object relative to the interface. The system generates, based on the indication of the relative position, feedback indicating a recommended movement of the transaction object relative to the interface to increase signal strength, and sends the feedback to an output device to output the feedback to indicate the recommended movement. The system reads the information from the transaction object using the interface in response to an increase in signal strength and to the outputting of the feedback.
