  • Patent number: 10664849
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses that may be utilized for the production of automation assisted elevation certificates are provided. One such method includes receiving, by an elevation certificate application, a plurality of elevation data points. Each of the elevation data points indicates an elevation at a particular location within an area defined between a structure boundary of a structure on a parcel of real property and a buffer boundary that surrounds the structure boundary. A first set of the elevation data points are determined that correspond to a first determined number of the plurality of elevation data points indicating highest elevations. A second set of the elevation data points are determined that correspond to a second determined number of the plurality of elevation data points indicating lowest elevations. A map of a region including the structure is displayed on a user computer device, and the first set and the second set of elevation data points are displayed on the map.

  • Patent number: 10664652
Abstract: Seamless grid and canvas integration in a spreadsheet application is provided. One or more data items may be pulled from a grid-structured spreadsheet and may be allowed to “float” on the grid-structure spreadsheet without regard to the underlying grid. The floating object may be pushed or inserted back into the grid of the same or different spreadsheet at any location. A pulled data object also may be dropped onto a grid-less canvas user interface object and may be moved about on the canvas object in a free form manner. References between data and computations in the moved data object are structured and maintained so that the data object may be manipulated and increased/decreased without adversely affecting the underlying grid and such that both data and computational references between the data object and the underlying grid are maintained.

  • Patent number: 10585570
Abstract: A collaborative content management system allows users to create, edit, and share collaborative content items among a plurality of other users. The system enables a collaboration event between author client devices and recipient client devices. During a collaboration event, a collaborative content item is created by an author. The collaborative content item is converted into a model collaborative content item and stored in the collaborative content management system. Access to the model collaborative content item is shared with recipient client devices. A derivative copy of the collaborative content item is generated based on the model collaborative content item, for instance in response to a request from a user of a recipient client device. The created derivative collaborative content items are editable by users corresponding to the derivative collaborative content item such that edits made to a first derivative collaborative content item are not accessible to other derivative collaborative content items.

  • Patent number: 10546053
Abstract: A technique for inserting form fields into forms displays a cursor superimposed over a background image of a form and dynamically generates candidate shapes of a form field to be inserted. New candidate shapes are generated automatically, based on pixel content of the form under a cursor, as a user moves the cursor over different regions of the form. In response to the user manually selecting one of the candidate shapes, the technique establishes the position, size, and shape of the form field based on the position, size, and shape of the selected candidate shape. The improved technique thus proceeds semi-automatically, generating candidate shapes automatically but based on manual, user-directed cursor positioning and manual selections.

  • Patent number: 10546058
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure provide for modifying an application from a mobile device. An instruction to modify an application including one or more documents is received at the mobile device. It is determined at the mobile device whether the received instruction is associated with a first type of modification and/or a second type of modification. In response to determining that the received instruction is associated with the first type of modification, a local instance of the document stored at the mobile device is modified at the mobile device. In response to determining that the received instruction is associated with the second type of modification, a remote instance of the document stored at a server device is modified at the server device. Aspects of the disclosure enable a mobile device to strategically modify an application to facilitate managing local resources.

  • Patent number: 10430021
Abstract: A client computing system (CCS) receives a download including (i) an image representative of at least one circuit in a vehicle, the at least one circuit including a first circuit configured for carrying a first signal within the vehicle, and (ii) symbol data associated with at least one symbol, the at least one symbol including a first symbol. After receiving the download, the CCS displays the image and the at least one symbol. The CCS then receives a first input corresponding to selection of the first symbol. The CCS then responsively receives, from the vehicle, data representing value(s) of the first signal. The CCS then determines a first display-location at which to display the data representing the value(s) of the first signal. While the image and the at least one symbol are displayed, the CCS then displays, at the first display-location, the data representing the value(s) of the first signal.
