Abstract: A system and method for automated remote payments between a vehicle and a refueling station is disclosed. The system may enable the vehicle to initiate an automated remote payment to the refueling station without needing the user to manually input transaction account information, or to manually prepay for the transaction. The refueling station may detect when the vehicle is in proximity, and the vehicle and the refueling station may open communications to transmit data. The vehicle may transmit vehicle identifying data to the refueling station, and the refueling station may communicate the vehicle identifying data to a payment network to authorize the transaction. In response to authorizing the transaction, the vehicle may proceed with refueling at the refueling station.

Abstract: A user device includes a display, a camera, and an application. The application is structured to: receive first image data of a first user from a first input of the camera; receive second image data of a second user from a second input of the camera; receive a payment amount of a bill; detect a location of the first user; determine a recommended division of the payment amount of the bill based on the first user, the second user, and the location; receive a first value of the payment amount owed by the first user and a second value of the payment amount owed by the second user; and initiate a transfer of funds from a first user account associated with the first user based on the first value and from a second user account associated with the second user based on the second value.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for improvements in the security of verifiable credentials. A method can include requesting, by a first decentralized identifier (DID) associated with a decentralized web node (DWN), a verifiable credential from a second DID, wherein the second DID is included in a pool of DIDs. The method also includes receiving, from the pool of DIDs and by the first DID, the verifiable credential. The method also includes receiving, from a third DID and at the first DID, a request to verify information associated with the first DID. The method also includes determining, at the DWN, that the verifiable credential includes the information requested by the third DID. The method also includes presenting, by the DWN, at least a portion of the verifiable credential to the third DID in response to determining that the verifiable credential includes the information.

Abstract: Fuel dispensing transactions may be accomplished by a variety of systems and techniques. A fuel dispensing device may include a payment module, a data entry device, and a customer display. The payment module may receive a first communication from a point of sale device requesting an encrypted response and receive a second communication from the point of sale device requesting an unencrypted response. The module may match the first communication to a first corresponding library entry, match the second communication to a second corresponding library entry, determine a user response based on one of the first corresponding library entry or the second corresponding library entry, where the user response defines one of the encrypted response based on the first corresponding library entry or the unencrypted response based on the second corresponding library entry, and use the corresponding library entry to generate a visual customer display requesting the user response.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating biometric-enabled network interactions. One example computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a biometric identity switch (BIS) computing device, from a point-of-sale (POS) terminal of a merchant, a request for an authorization packet for a transaction between the merchant and a user and identifying a biometric provider associated with a biometric in the request. The method also includes requesting, by the BIS computing device, from the identified biometric provider, a biometric identifier for the user, based on the biometric, receiving the biometric identifier from the identified biometric provider, determining the authorization packet for the user based on the biometric identifier, and transmitting the authorization packet to the POS terminal for use by the POS terminal in compiling an authorization request for the transaction.

Abstract: A method executed by a computing infrastructure to utilize an object distributed ledger includes issuing, to a marketplace computing entity, or more digital records of non-authenticated user information for subsequent utilization in establishing of a contingency-action token (CAT) to be represented on the object distributed ledger. The method further includes identifying a user information authenticity computing entity and generating authenticity information. The method further includes interpreting the authenticity information to produce an authenticity indicator and converting the non-authenticated user information into authenticated user information when the authenticity indicator indicates an authenticated status. The method further includes generating, a smart contract based on the authenticated user information and causing inclusion of the CAT, that includes the smart contract, on the object distributed ledger.

Abstract: A system that is a network for providing instructions to a user seeking assistance. The system has an uplinking device that is used to transmit information across a network. The uplinking device transfers visual and audio information. The system provides options for the user of the uplinking device to connect with internal support members that are a part of his own organization or connect with external support members that are not a part of the user's organization. Within those choices the user can decide whether to choose from a list of favorites or have a support member assigned based on information input into the uplinking device. The system chooses the best support member based on the input information. After a session with the support member, the user must provide a rating on the session before being allowed to begin another session.

Abstract: Electronic watch faces can be created in customized and associated with a block chain system. More particularly, the block chain's system uses non-fungible tokens which are in general unique, to represent the ownership of a specific watch face. Users own the token and can display the watch face only while they own the token. After selling the watch face, the token is changed to represent the new owner of the token and the original owner can no longer display the watch face at that point.

An instruction to transfer a first quantity of a resource from a first resource pool to a second resource pool may be received. A hold may be placed on a second quantity of the resource in the first resource pool. The held second quantity of the first resource may not be transferred from the first resource pool until the hold is released. Responsive to receiving a message that fulfills a condition on the hold and an instruction to execute the transfer, the hold may be released. A register that is in the first resource pool and is associated with the resource may decremented by the first quantity, and a register that is in the second resource pool and is associated with the resource may be incremented by the first quantity.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for classifying a particular user account as a fraudulent user account by analyzing links between the user account and two or more known fraudulent user accounts collectively. Attributes of the particular user account are compared against attributes of a plurality of known fraudulent accounts to determine that the particular user account has shared attributes with a first known fraudulent account and a second known fraudulent account. The shared attributes with the first known fraudulent account and the second known fraudulent account are analyzed collectively to determine a risk level for the particular user account. The risk level may indicate a likelihood that the particular user account corresponds to a fraudulent account.

Abstract: Techniques are described for accessing an account on a public device. In some implementations, an audio message is received from a portable computing device, requesting to establish an account access session between the portable computing device and the public device. A first communication based on the audio message is sent from the public device to a backend server. The backend server analyzes the first communication to determine whether the portable computing device is authorized to establish the account access session. A second communication is received from the backend server, indicating that the portable computing device is authorized. In response, the account access session is established between the portable computing device and the public device, wherein the account access session is employed by an application executing on the portable computing device to access account information associated with an account of a user of the portable computing device.

The method includes registering, with an open commerce wallet exchange (OCWE) system, a plurality of banking applications, and/or wallet applications. The method also includes associating a master credential with the plurality of banking applications and/or wallet applications, receiving a request from the merchant system to invoke the OCWE system to receive personal data corresponding to the consumer, and in response to receiving a request to invoke the OCWE system from the merchant system, determining, by the OCWE system, at least one banking application and/or wallet application stored on the consumer system and registered with the OCWE system. The method also includes communicating, to the consumer system, a request for personal data, and receiving, from the consumer system, the master credential and a selection of a banking application or a wallet application.

The method further includes sending, by the network computing device, an amount of a desired currency to the merchant computing device to complete the payment. The method further includes sending, by the merchant computing device, a fee to the network computing device for facilitating the payment. The method further includes converting, by the network computing device, the fee to collateral tokens, and depositing the collateral tokens in one or more smart contracts as rewards.
