  • Patent number: 11758477
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for paging in a wireless communication system. A method that may be performed by a base station (BS) generally includes determining one or more groups of UEs, each group of UEs comprising UEs configured to monitor a same paging occasion (PO) for a same paging radio network temporary identifier (PRNTI). The BS determines whether to postpone paging for a group of UEs based, at least in part, on an indication from a network entity of priorities associated with the UEs in the group. The method generally includes paging or postponing paging for at least one of the UEs in the group based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 11751202
Abstract: When downlink data allocation is indicated in an ePDCCH, this terminal device can determine PUCCH resources to be used in notification of response signals indicating results of error detection of downlink data without imposing scheduling restrictions on future DL subframes. In this device, an extraction unit receives downlink data on multiple unit bands. A CRC unit detects errors in the downlink data. A response signal generation unit generates a response signal by using the results of error detection of the downlink data obtained by the CRC unit. The control unit arranges the response signal in the PUCCH resources corresponding to the current DL subframe.

  • Patent number: 11696184
Abstract: A device determines, from a network slice template associated with a network slice, a quality of service (QoS) profile for the network slice that includes performance metrics for corresponding QoS parameters associated with providing a service. The device monitors performance of the network slice in association with the QoS profile, and determines, based on the performance, that a performance indicator for a QoS parameter of the network slice is outside a threshold range of a performance metric. The device determines, based on the performance information and the QoS profile, a slice modification to the network slice template for the network slice, where the slice modification is configured to cause the performance indicator to be within the threshold range of the performance metric. The device causes a network slice orchestrator to update an instantiation of the network slice according to the slice modification and the network slice template.

  • Patent number: 11683680
Abstract: A Wi-Fi controller identifies a mismatch between a first prefix of a first IPv6 address for a data packet corresponding to a first VLAN on which the data packet was sent from the station to the access point, and a prefix of a second IPv6 address for a second VLAN from which the data packet was transmitted from the access point to the Wi-Fi controller. Responsive to the VLAN mismatch identification, the Wi-Fi controller transmits a DHCP reconfiguration packet to the station using the first VLAN. The DHCP reconfiguration packet causes the station to transmit a rebind packet to the DHCP server. The rebind packet causes the DHCP server to transmit an ACK frame on the first VLAN setting the valid lifetime for the first IPv6 address to zero.

  • Patent number: 11653346
Abstract: Solutions are proposed to handle PRACH resource and beam selection under the following scenarios. First, a CFRA procedure is initiated, but all beams associated with the CFRA resource is below a RSRP threshold and CBRA fallback is not supported. UE continues to perform CFRA by selecting any downlink beam associated with dedicated PRACH resource, and then select dedicated PRACH resource associated with the selected downlink beam; second, a CFRA procedure is initiated but the active UL BWP is not paired with the active DL BWP. Upon CFRA initiation, UE uses current active UL and DL BWP to perform CFRA, and switches to another BWP pair upon all beams associated with the CFRA resource are below a RSRP threshold; third, a CBRA procedure is initiated but the active UL BWP is not configured with PRACH resource. UE selects a special UL/DL BWP to perform the CBRA procedure.
