  • Patent number: 11425739
Abstract: A scheduling method implements flexible scheduling in a relay network. A method includes: determining, by a first device, information about a transmission time difference, where the transmission time difference is a time difference between a control channel of a first link and a data channel that is of the first link and that is scheduled by the control channel of the first link; notifying a second device of the information about the transmission time difference; and performing, by the second device, scheduling based on the information about the transmission time difference. In this way, the second device determines whether a resource needs to be reserved for the data channel of the first link, and it is possible that a time division resource, a frequency division resource, or a space division resource is shared for data of the first link and data of a second link.

  • Patent number: 11405120
Abstract: An audio system, method, and computer program product for synchronizing device clocks. The systems, methods and computer program product can establish a first isochronous data stream between a peripheral device and a first device and establish a second isochronous data stream between the first device and a second device to send data between the first and second device. As the two data streams may rely on two different device clocks, e.g., one clock which defines the timing for the first isochronous data stream and a second clock which defines the timing for the second isochronous data stream, the systems, methods, and computer program disclosed herein are configured to maintain synchronization and/or synchronize the first clock with the second clock to prevent data loss due to clock drift.

  • Patent number: 11399353
Abstract: A telecommunications system communicating data to/from one or more terminals, including one or more transmitters to transmit first and second carriers over respective first and second frequency bandwidths. During a first time period the transmitters can transmit data receivable by first and second classes of terminal on the first and second carriers. During a second different time period, the transmitters can transmit data to the second class of terminal on the first and second carriers in combination. A data transmission format on the first carrier in the first time period is incompatible with a user data transmission format on the second carrier during the first time period. The transmitters can transmit control data on the first carrier in the first time period which is receivable by the second class of terminal to enable the second class of terminal to maintain synchronisation with the first carrier during the first time period.

  • Patent number: 11395125
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to minimize the electricity consumption of battery powered devices during network discovery and other phases of network operation. Example techniques include efficiently listening for other mains powered and battery powered devices within communication range of the battery powered device by, for example, shortening its listening window depending on how close the time reference maintained by the battery powered device is estimated to be to the time reference used by the other mains powered and battery powered devices within communication range. Other techniques include slowing the rate of listening by the battery powered device when the battery powered device is unlikely to be able to receive discovery messages or is already connected to the network. Other techniques include using knowledge of the network to listen for discovery messages on a channel or channels on which other devices are likely to be transmitting.

  • Patent number: 11374877
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a switch. During operation, the switch parses a first schema of the switch. The first schema indicates initialization information for one or more services of the switch expressed based on one or more tags. The switch then identifies a tag of the one or more tags in the first schema based on the parsing and identifies information corresponding to the tag from a profile of the switch. Subsequently, the switch generates a second schema from the first schema based on the identified information.
