  • Patent number: 11690564
Abstract: A method of providing workout training for a user of an activity tracking system includes displaying a plurality of training plan options to the user on a screen of a personal electronic device, and then receiving a selected training plan option from the user. Selected workout day options are received from the user and the system generates a training schedule for the user based on the selected training plan and the selected workout day options. One or more reminders identify the type of workout for the scheduled day and an option to accept or reject the workout. When the user selects the option to accept the workout, the workout goal associated with the scheduled workout is displayed. The method further includes determining progress toward the workout goal based on the received workout data, and displaying an indicator of progress toward the workout goal on the screen during the workout.

  • Patent number: 11682318
Abstract: Embodiments for assisting pronunciation correction are described. A representation of a user pronunciation of an utterance is received. A representation of a target pronunciation of the utterance is identified. The representation of the user pronunciation of the utterance is compared to the representation of the target pronunciation of the utterance. A recommendation associated with correcting the user pronunciation of the utterance is generated based on the comparing of the representation of the user pronunciation of the utterance to the representation of the target pronunciation of the utterance and information associated with the user.

  • Patent number: 11673024
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion, which requires receiving, by a CPU, sensor data from sensors worn by a user; storing the transmitted sensor data in a data buffer; recognizing that a motion gesture occurred based on a signature of acceleration data in the buffered sensor data, extracting from the data buffer sensor data from a predetermined time window around the moment when the motion gesture occurred; automatically generating a regime file customized for the user based on the extracted sensor data, and generating in real-time a user interface displaying a representation corresponding to the motion indicated by the sensor data, wherein the CPU determines the signature of acceleration data by matching the buffered sensor data with stored motion signatures, wherein the regime file is automatically generated based on diagnostic parameters obtained from the sensor data associated with a motion activity category.

  • Patent number: 11676502
    Abstract: A method for academic engagement includes parsing answers from questions in a question group from completed questionnaires. Answers are discrete numbers. The method includes determining a transformed scale score as: {acute over (x)}=x?1, determining a POMP score as: p = x ? n and mapping a rescaled probability as: {acute over (p)}=?p+0.5(1??). ? is a scaling constant between 0.5 and 1. The method includes determining a modified logit as: t = ln ? ( p ? 1 - p ? ) , determining a mean for the modified logit values and determining a mean rescaled probability for each determined mean as: p ^ ? = e t ? 1 + e t ? . The method includes determining an estimated standard probability as: p ^ = p ^ ? + 0.
