  • Patent number: 9250071
Abstract: A measurement apparatus for measuring a substrate, on which a measurement object is formed, and a correction method of the same is shown. The correction method includes measuring a reference phase by measuring a phase of a substrate for measuring the reference phase by using an image-capture part, acquiring a tilted pose of a reference plane of the measured reference phase to an image plane of the image-capture part, and calculating a height that is required to correct the reference plane with regard to the image-capture part based on the tilted pose. Therefore, based on a tilted pose of a reference phase in order to correct a reference plane being a reference of measuring a height, a measurement credibility of the measurement object may be improved.

  • Patent number: 9245193
Abstract: One or more devices capture a scene of real world, and process one or more image(s) which include distances to points on surfaces in the real world. The distances are used to automatically identify a set of surfaces in the real world. Then, the one or more devices check whether a surface in the set is suitable for display of an element of information to be projected into the scene. On finding that a surface is suitable, a transform function is automatically identified, followed by automatic application of the transform function to the element of the information. A transformed element, which results from automatically applying the transform function, is stored in a frame buffer coupled to a projector, at a specific position in the frame buffer identified during the check for suitability. When no surface is suitable, user input is obtained, followed by projection of information as per user input.

  • Patent number: 9246609
Abstract: A table creating unit receives program information and an upper limit bit rate of EPG data, creates a table of EIT [current/net] on the basis of the information and upper limit bit rate, and determines the frequency of transmission of the table in consideration of the upper limit bit rate and the lower limit of the frequency of transmission of the table. A stream transmitting unit receives the table and the frequency of transmission, converts the table to stream information, and transmits a stream at a frequency determined based on the transmission frequency. Therefore, data transmission is carried out satisfying both the limit of the upper limit bit rate and the limit on the transmission frequency.

  • Patent number: 9241093
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a detail-enhanced video signal are provided. In a method for generating the detail-enhanced video signal, an input video signal is received. A first signal that is a linear transformation of the input video signal is generated. A detail signal is generated by determining a difference between the input video signal and the first signal, where the detail signal includes information that is added to the input video signal to generate the detail-enhanced video signal. A filtered detail signal is generated by removing noise from the detail signal. The filtered detail signal is multiplied by a gain function to generate a second signal. The gain function is based on an amount of variance in the input video signal. The input video signal and the second signal are combined to generate the detail-enhanced video signal.

  • Patent number: 9239237
Abstract: A system for quickly aligning a test optic with various components of an optical metrology tool. A collimated target is presented to a beamsplitting reference surface located on a positioning system for holding and manipulating the test optic. Video images of the target and its reflection from the reference surface are displayed for analysis and visualization so that any tilt between the reference surface and the optical axis of the collimated beam can be removed to align the test optic. After alignment, the video based system is used to quickly measure and display in real-time a variety of performance characteristics of optical components such as lenses. The metrology system is under the control of a computer which uses a windowing software program to provide the user with a graphical user interface by which the various components of the system and test lenses may be aligned and characterized.

  • Patent number: 9230326
Abstract: This invention provides a system and method for automatic (non-manual) calibration of one or more cameras employs a tessellating calibration plate having a checkerboard tile pattern and a plurality of 2D codes embedded within the checkerboard pattern. Each 2D code encodes the (X,Y) coordinates that identify tile calibration feature locations in the pattern, and the remaining, surrounding tiles allow measurement of the corner positions as calibration features. One or more vision system camera(s) can be calibrated to a single coordinate system automatically. During calibration, an image of at least a portion of a calibration plate is acquired, the encoded data is decoded for at least one 2D code within the field of view of each camera and then the position of the field of view is determined on the calibration plate for each camera using the 2D code data and the checkerboard tile pattern.

  • Patent number: 9230338
Abstract: A method for merging graphics and high dynamic range video data is disclosed. In a video receiver, a display management process uses metadata to map input video data from a first dynamic range into the dynamic range of available graphics data. The remapped video signal is blended with the graphics data to generate a video composite signal. An inverse display management process uses the metadata to map the video composite signal to an output video signal with the first dynamic range. To alleviate perceptual tone-mapping jumps during video scene changes, a metadata transformer transforms the metadata to transformed so that on a television (TV) receiver metadata values transition smoothly between consecutive scenes. The TV receiver receives the output video signal and the transformed metadata to generate video data mapped to the dynamic range of the TV's display.
