  • Patent number: 11727321
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for improved color rendering. In some embodiments, video is captured of a real-world scene, and a region of screen content is detected in the captured video. A processor selectively applies a screen-content color transformation on the region of screen content to generate processed video, and the processed video is displayed substantially in real time, for example on a video-see-through head-mounted display. The screen-content color processing may be different for different types of external displays. The screen-content color processing may also be determined based at least in part on illumination conditions. In some embodiments, the color of displayed virtual objects is adjusted based on visual parameters of the screen content.

  • Patent number: 11720245
Abstract: A computing device enhances digital content on a display based on a distance to an individual from the computing device. The computing device detects an individual in the environment around the computing device and determines a distance from the computing device to the individual. The computing device enhances the information included in the digital content when the distance is within a first threshold distance from the computing device. Similarly, the computing device removes information included in the digital content when the distance is outside of a second threshold distance from the computing device.

  • Patent number: 11704849
Abstract: A computing device generates a first set of glyphs from a first data set. Each glyph in the first set of glyphs represents the same set of user-selected columns in a first row of the plurality of rows in the data set. For each glyph in the first set of glyphs, the computing device defines a set of marks to be displayed. Each mark is defined by one or more visual features, with a respective visual feature assigned to each column of the user-selected columns. Each visual feature is displayed with a visual property determined based on a data value in the first row for the respective column. A user specifies a specific visual feature for a first mark from the first set of glyphs. The computing device generates a second set of glyphs. Each glyph in the second set of glyphs includes a mark with the specific visual feature.

  • Patent number: 11682179
Abstract: A measuring method includes the following. An image to be tested of an object to be tested with a first characteristic pattern is formed and is copied to form multiple images to be tested. The multiple images to be tested are superimposed to form a to-be-tested overlapped image which has the multiple first characteristic patterns. A reference image of a reference object with a second characteristic pattern is formed and is copied to form multiple reference images. The multiple reference images are superimposed to form a reference overlapped image which has the multiple second characteristic patterns. The to-be-tested overlapped image and the reference overlapped image are superimposed to generate a virtual moiré image having a moiré pattern different from the multiple first characteristic patterns and the multiple second characteristic patterns.

  • Patent number: 11680366
Abstract: A computer system of a finishing center, such as a mobile finishing center, includes a tool that allows a customer to preview or create new designs for apparel before purchase and before laser finishing. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn or ablate the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the customer will be able to preview, create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before purchase and burning or ablation by a laser. Input to the tool can include fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. In an implementation, the customer or another user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
