Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a network of personalized devices determining data for shopping predictions. A personalized device may include processing components for determining purchase predictions for one or more items to purchase on behalf of a user. The purchase predictions may be based on personality traits and other information that may indicate interests of the user. The purchase predictions may also be based on purchase information for the item, including inventory of the item, price of the item, availability of the item to the user, or other factor. Once the purchase prediction is determined, the personalized device may generate a purchase request for the item from a merchant having the item at a physical merchant location accessible to the personalized device or a delivery device associated with the personalized device. The personalized device may retrieve and deliver the purchased item.

Abstract: Systems and method are provided for tracking actions from one or more users of an electronic product catalog, assigning a first token to each of the tracked actions that are unrelated to product item information, assigning second tokens to the one or more tracked actions which have catalog information or product identity, assigning third tokens to the one or more tracked actions based on at least one category of a page of the electronic product catalog, and assigning fourth tokens to at least one search queries and/or search refinement of the one or more tracked actions. The server may generate a sequence of tokens in one or more vectors for each of the one or more users, may encode profile information for the one or more users as a matrix of vectors, and may determine at least one product recommendation for the one or more users from the electronic catalog.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for assisting a customer with purchasing a merchandise item in a store. Assisting the customer may include determining a location of a customer (i.e., customer device) in the store, identifying merchandise items located adjacent to the customer, receiving selection of a merchandise item for purchase from the identified merchandise items, receiving payment authorization information for the purchase, and initiating delivery of the merchandise item to the customer. Additionally, systems and methods are provided for inventory management in a store. Consistent with certain embodiments, computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for selecting a sensor, receiving a sensor identifier and a position of the sensor, receiving merchandise identifiers for merchandise items located near the sensor, and storing the merchandise identifiers in association with the sensor identifier.

Abstract: Described are systems, methods and arrangements for enabling fulfillment of items from printed materials. When printed material is generated it includes an embedded ordering device (“EOD”) that can be activated by a user that is viewing the printed material. Upon activation, the EOD connects to a wireless network and sends a unique identifier data to a fulfillment service. The fulfillment service, upon receiving the unique identifier data determines an item associated with the unique identifier data and a delivery destination (e.g., the address to which the printed material was delivered) and fulfills the item to the delivery destination.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and techniques for implementing a single mechanism that, when activated, provides multiple shopping cart previews for different resource providers generated based on a list of items which is customized according to the user that activated the mechanism. In some embodiments, a list of item types may be received by the system from the user including item types. The system may identify a number of potential items for each of the item types in the list of item types available at each resource provider. The user may then be provided with a shopping cart preview with the list of items from each resource provider. In some embodiments, the user may be provided with the ability to complete a transaction for one or more of the shopping cart previews.

Abstract: The Loupe system creates a display and channel creation capability for art images to be presented to a user to optimize the user experience in viewing art images delivered onto digital displays, TVs and other screens facilitating the artwork transition with and without human interaction. Art imagery to be streamed includes imagery such as, but not limited to, filtered and personalized streams of art imagery. The Loupe system recommendations engine utilizes both human and machine curated data to determine factors of art images that optimize and extend the user time spent on viewing the images. The Loupe system gathers data that is analyzed through machine learning and AI algorithms to inform recommendations and select art images to optimize the user experience. The user may purchase fine art prints or select originals of the artwork image displayed, if available for sale, from the Loupe integrated electronic marketplace.

Abstract: A method and system of providing product-specific information to a user during shopping excursions is disclosed. The user can access a smart shopping assistant application to search for supplemental items that may need to be purchased in order to assemble or implement a desired product. The user can maintain a current home inventory of tools and products through the application to quickly determine whether any of the supplemental items are already in the user's possession. The application can also guide the user from their current location to the location of the required item, as well as present reminders to the user about the supplemental items during their shopping trip to ensure the user returns home with all of the required items.

Abstract: Described is a system for providing improved exploration for an interactive recommendation system by leveraging intuitive user feedback. The recommendation system may provide images of recommend items and receive user feedback preferences in the form of a natural language expression. Traditional techniques for interactive recommendation systems typically rely on restricted forms of user feedback such as binary relevance responses, or feedback based on a fixed set of relative attributes. In contrast, the recommendation system described herein introduces a new approach to interactive image recommendation (or image search) that enables users to provide feedback via natural language, allowing for a more natural and effective interaction. The recommendation system may be based on formulating the task of natural-language-based interactive image recommendation as a reinforcement learning problem, and reward the recommendation system for improving the rank of the target image during each iterative interaction.

Abstract: For products that are sold online, the manner in which a product is displayed in an image can affect sales of the product. Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to computer-implemented systems and methods to provide a user with recommendations when generating an image of a product. A method includes obtaining a product image and determining parameters of the product image. A recommendation for modifying the product image is then generated using a model to relate these parameters to market success of the product image. The recommendation is displayed on the user device, and a user can potentially improve subsequent product images by following the recommendation.

Abstract: This application describes a system and process for providing object identifiers relating to real world objects to users based on the location of the user and the anticipated interested of the user in an object within a defined distance of the user. For example, if the user is within a retail store, a portable device associated with the user may detect or receive a beacon transmitted from a location within the retail store and object identifiers representative of objects within the store may be generated and provided to the user. In some implementations, only object identifier representative of items determined to be of likely interest to the user may be provided for presentation to the user.
