A first locking plate is operable for receiving a feed portion and a return portion of the floss upon a horizontal surface thereof. A second locking plate is operable to engage the first locking plate, where a distal end of the second locking plate engages the feed portion and the return portion to substantially constrain the feed portion of the floss on the fork and the return portion, applying tension along the feed portion and the return portion. A number of protrusions assist in retaining the feed portion and preventing the tape floss from slippage while reducing the friction around the fork; the protrusions are located at the base of the fork and inside the floss holder.

Abstract: Hair curling devices comprise a length of multi-stranded solid copper wire having ring crimp terminals secured to opposing ends. A fabric tube is situated about the length of multi-stranded copper wire and has first and second end portions that define corresponding fabric holes. The fabric tube is secured to the ring crimp terminals and prior to attachment, is longer that the wire/ring crimp terminal assembly so that the fabric tube is gathered about the multi-stranded copper wire. Hair bundles captured by the hair curling device form hair curls after a suitable exposure period. In some examples, flexible members other than copper wire are used, and the fabric tube and the wire/ring crimp terminal assembly can be secured to form a straight section or to form a loop.

The bristled dental floss includes an elongated, flexible floss core. A plurality of floss bristles extends from the floss core. At least one elongated bristle group is formed by the plurality of floss bristles. An undulating pattern is formed by the plurality of floss bristles in each bristle group. In typical use, the bristled dental floss may be inserted between the teeth of a user and moved in a back-and-forth motion. The bristle groups effectively remove plaque, tartar, food particles and the like from between the user's teeth, particularly in hard-to-reach recessed areas between the teeth.

The hair brushes feature a strong support member structure that gives the hairbrush strength while the handle and brush head are connected. The handle has a pair of barbed ejection fingers that engage and retain the brush head. When separation of the brush handle and the brush head is desired, the user depresses an actuator associated with each ejection finger. The compressed ejection finger has a tip that comes into contact with a conical protrusion in the brush head. The resulting action first disengages the brush head and then causes an outward force to be applied to the brush head thereby ejecting it from the handle.
