Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs stored on computer-readable media, for inline and contextual delivery of content, which may include content selectively determined using private database content. In some implementations, interface data indicating text of a user interface of a electronic device is obtained. A particular term in the text of the user interface of the electronic device is determined to satisfy one or more criteria. Based on determining that the particular term satisfies the one or more criteria, the particular term is annotated to alter the appearance of the particular term in the user interface. After annotating the particular term, user interaction with the annotated term is detected and a card is provided for display in the user interface. The card can include information that corresponds to the term and that was determined using content from a private database for an organization of the user.

Abstract: In an electronic device capable of running multiple software applications concurrently, applications, documents, cards, or other activities can be selected for hibernation so as to free up system resources for other activities that are in active use. A determination is made as to which activities should hibernate, for example based on a determination as to which activities have not been used recently or based on relative resource usage. When an activity is to hibernate, its state is preserved on a storage medium such as a disk, so that the activity can later be revived in the same state and the user can continue with the same task that was being performed before the activity entered hibernation.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of editing text in a mobile terminal include a display unit, configured to display a text display area, a touch sensitive keypad display area, at least one text character in the text display area, and a cursor in the text display area; and at least one processor, configured to detect a first gesture in a touch input in the touch sensitive keypad display area, and control moving, upon detecting the first gesture, the cursor in the text display area, according to the touch input in the touch sensitive keypad display area. The first gesture includes a touch of a point in the touch sensitive keypad display area where no key is displayed.

Abstract: Determining the rendering of user interface (UI) elements, referred to as views, based upon styleable transitions between possible states of a view. Transitions may include animation, such as to smoothly enter a view into or exit a view out of a scene over a number of rendering frames. Transitions also may be applied to view state changes related to a UI element, such as to indicate hovered over, focused, listening (for speech), selected and/or pressed. View state changes also may be animated.

Abstract: In accordance with various implementations, a method is performed at a device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, a display, and an input device. The method includes displaying, on the display, a drawing user interface including a plurality of drawing objects. While a drawing tool that is associated with a predefined operation is selected, the method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a user input moving to define a path within the drawing user interface. In response to detecting the user input moving to define the path within the drawing user interface, the method includes performing the predefined operation with respect to two or more of the plurality of drawing objects that intersect the path.

Abstract: Provided is a method, computer program product, and system for modifying a simulation based on learning characteristics. A processor may receive a user profile associated with a user. The user profile includes a set of learning characteristics related to the user. The processor may display a simulation on an extended reality display. The displayed simulation is based in part on the set of learning characteristics. The processor may monitor focus data related to the user. The focus data is generated while the user is viewing the simulation. The processor may compare the focus data with one or more focus thresholds. The processor may modify the simulation in response to the one or more focus thresholds being met.

Abstract: An information processing device includes a controller that, when a user gives an instruction to use a device to a conversation partner on an interface for making a conversation with the conversation partner, switches a display of the conversation partner who is responding, to a display of the device. In a further modification of the invention, the controller may switch the conversation partner who is responding, to the device, in addition to the switch of the display.

Abstract: An identity provider (“IdP”) system maintains a framework of authentication methods and security targets that enables flexible authentication policy authoring and analysis of authentication performed by users of an organization. The IdP system generates authentication method profiles that include authentication factors and attributes, which may be further classified as required or optional. The IdP system also generates security target profiles that indicate security requirements needed to satisfy the corresponding security targets. The IdP system uses the generated profiles to determine relationships between authentication methods and security targets (e.g., a list of authentication methods that satisfy a given security target). Using these relationships, the IdP system may enable users to author policies and analyze how users' authentication behaviors comply with security targets.

Abstract: Tools and techniques are described to create a controller wiring board. A user, using a user interface associated with a controller, can determine which devices will be attached to a controller. The features of the devices may be already known by the controller. The controller can change wiring terminal types depending on the requirements of the devices wired to the controllers. In some embodiments, a device is wired to a module associated with the controller. The controller can signal to the module to modify its wiring terminal to match the needs of the device to be wired to that location.

Abstract: A first electronic device with a touch-enabled display establishes a wireless connection with a second electronic device that controls display of a user interface on a second display. The first electronic device displays a first user interface on the touch-enabled display, the first user interface including a first affordance corresponding to first media content. While displaying the first user interface, the first electronic device detects a first user input at a location on the touch-sensitive display that corresponds to the first affordance in the first user interface. In response to detecting the first user input, the first electronic device transmits, to the second electronic device via the wireless connection, instructions enabling display of at least a portion of the first media content on substantially the entire second display controlled by the second electronic device.

Abstract: Techniques for optimizing window resize actions for a remoted application are provided, where the remoted application has a server-side window running within a remote desktop of a server system, and where the server-side window is made accessible to a user of a client system as a client-side window displayed in a client desktop of the client system. In one embodiment, the client system can receive from the server system a notification that the server-side window is being resized in the remote desktop, and can determine that the user is currently entering one or more input commands for resizing the server-side window. In response, the client system can send a message to the server system for canceling the resizing of the server-side window. The client system can then allow the user to resize the client-side window via the one or more input commands, while the server-side window remains a fixed size.

Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) platform for the Internet of Things (IoT) is disclosed. The AR platform enables a user to associate AR objects with IoT devices. These associations may further enable a user to direct a control input to a particular IoT device and receive outputs such as sensor measurements or state information from the IoT device via interaction with an associated AR object. These AR objects may be perceived by the user via a client device, such as via an AR viewer or other human interface. The AR platform further enables users to create shareable objects that define an association among or between multiple AR objects and their IoT devices that can be shared with and modified by other users.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present application set forth a computer-implemented method that includes detecting a tag that is associated with a real-world object, determining an object identifier (ID) associated with the tag, transmitting a request for data associated with the real-world object, wherein the request includes the object ID, receiving a set of values associated with the object ID from a data source, where the set of values is provided by the data source based on the object ID and on a query executed on raw machine data associated with the real-world object, and displaying, by a client device within the XR environment, a visualization associated with the set of values.

In some embodiments, the method may include receiving user input to save a state of the communication session, and in response, temporarily storing session data representative of the state of the communication session for a predetermined duration of the communication session. Abstract: A method for displaying a prompting message includes that: upon there is a prompting message to be displayed, a first mark is dynamically displayed on a desktop; after an input operation for the first mark is detected, the desktop is switched to a prompting page; and the prompting message is displayed on the prompting page. Therefore, displaying of the prompting message is optimized, a user can view the prompting message in a more timely manner, and user experience is improved.
