Abstract: An adjustable hanger system is disclosed comprising a base member with at least one channel and a plurality of hanging elements. The base member has bore holes and counterbores concentric with the bore holes, adapted to receive mechanical fasteners that secure the adjustable hanger system to a support surface. The base member channel is comprised of two differently sized sections within which a radiused bottom portion of the hanging elements are slidingly and matingly engageable such that the hanging elements can be inserted from a front surface of the base member. The hanging elements have top portions which are used to suspend a wide variety of articles and implements in an organized, space saving manner. Once inserted into the channel, the hanging elements can be positioned in an infinite number of positions to accommodate any particular item for which hanging and storage is desired. In some embodiments, the base member has a cove or groove to provide storage for hanging elements not in use.

Abstract: An improved cable spacer for spacing a transmission cable or similar article from a support member such as a support wire is provided. The spacer includes a substantially continuous cable contacting surface and includes drainage holes for preventing water and ice accumulation in the interior portion of the spacer. The spacer may further include openings in the side walls thereof in communication with a passageway provided for passage of a cable tie used in conjunction therewith. Such openings permit accommodation of various sizes of transmission cables without added strain between the spacer and cable tie. A plurality of such spacers of the present invention can be used in a stacked configuration to accommodate any desired spacing between a transmission cable and support wire.

Abstract: A suspension cradle for supporting a hanging heat exchanger having vertical tubes, the heat exchanger including at least one heat-exchanger element having a plurality of tubes grouped together in the same plane and connected to a manifold at each of their ends, the cradle including two main beams situated parallel to and on either side of the manifold, and at least one transverse support fastened transversely to the main beams, the transverse support supporting the heat-exchanger element, wherein the transverse support is in the shape of an upside down triangular rafter truss, and wherein the heat-exchanger element bears down against the bottom portion of the truss at a joint portion where the two branches meet to form the tip of the truss.

Abstract: A support structure including a turntable, support platform, and a set of ramps. The ramps and support platform provide support for a two-wheeled vehicle. The entire apparatus swivels using a turntable at 360.degree., and the apparatus also has a set of retractable wheels which enable the apparatus to be rolled across a horizontal surface. Also the ramps fold up around the support frame for ease of storage.

Abstract: A center console having a storage compartment and an access opening with a lid pivotally attached to the storage compartment for closing the opening. A cupholder is attached to the front of the storage compartment and includes a plastic body portion having three generally cylindrical, recessed cup-receiving portions. Two of the cup-receiving portions are joined by a recessed channel portion capable of receiving a handle of a mug received in one of at least two cup-receiving portions.

Abstract: A screw fastener clamp which can be securely mounted at selected locations along a shelf or similar structure includes a screw fastener, a rachet latch, a body member containing a slot for receiving the shelf, and a retaining portion for supporting such items as book stops, lamps and sign holders. Latch release means and means to prevent unauthorized use of said latch release means are disclosed, as is a separate retaining member positioned between the body portion and the shelf which allows the use of separate body member and retainer components and thus allowing these parts to be interchanged as desired for specific applications. Also disclosed is a screw fastener clamp having retaining means fastened to the screw fastener stud such that rotating said retaining means tightens the grip of said clamp on the shelf.

Abstract: The present version of the invention relates to the field of reading stands in general. This version of the invention discloses a portable stand that provides a magnifier for either writing or reading so that the user can engage in either activity and be afforded magnification of the written or printed page in a variety of locations and circumstances. The invention consists of a side support member, rear support member, and magnifying panel. The panel and support embers are manufactured of material that is clear, durable, scratch resistant, and rigid, such as acrylic or the like. The support members are rectangular in shape and are formed with a plurality of mounting grooves that run in parallel along the longitudinal axis of the support members. The side support member is formed with a retaining groove placed near the vertical or shorter edge of the member for receipt of the rear support member in tongue and groove fashion.

Abstract: A portable desk for use with a lap-top computer is disclosed, comprising a main housing, of a generally rectangular configuration, which rotates about a base support. A rear member provides back and support for the laptop once the laptop is placed on the present invention. A series of port holes in the rear member permit access to the ports on the laptop from the back of the present invention. A wrist pad provides support for the user's wrists. A retractable mouse tray extends out laterally from the main housing. A laterally adjustable document display means is located at the rear of the present invention, behind the rear member. A lighting means is powered by a rechargeable battery, the battery located in a power box against which the laptop computer rests. An on-off switch on the power box turns the lighting means on and off. A retractable AC power cord is located inside the rear member. Retractable and telescoping legs are positioned under the base support.

Abstract: Apparatus for cradling a candle formed with a base member having a bottom surface for mounting the apparatus on a structure and an upper surface positioned and inclined at an angle with respect to the bottom surface for receiving a base of the candle. A supporting member is mounted on the base member adjacent the lower portion of the upper surface with respect to the bottom surface of the base member and has an outer surface thereof perpendicular to the base member bottom surface and an inner surface positioned perpendicular to the upper surface and configured for receiving and supporting the candle on the base member upper surface with a center axis of the candle positioned at the angle with respect to a vertical line perpendicular to the base member bottom surface.

A hook includes a first section pivotally connected to the panel and a second hooked section removably received in the compartment. An elastic member is provided for moving the second hooked section of the hook outside the compartment. Abstract: An apparatus and method to elevate an infusion source, the pole of a control unit is increased by about thirty-two (32) cm to increase the height of an infusion bottle attached to a hanger on the pole during ophthalmic surgery including that performed with a phacoemulsification surgical handpiece. The control unit being for irrigation and suction lines that lead to the phacoemulsification surgical handpiece used to conduct eye surgery.

Abstract: A tray body preferably fabricated of a molded plastic material defines a generally rectangular recess having at least one support member extending downwardly therefrom. The tray body further defines a center cup receptacle having a receptacle wall extending downwardly beyond the tray body. A pair of side cup receptacles are formed on opposed sides of the center cup receptacle. In one embodiment, additional support members extend downwardly from the side cup receptacles. In an alternate embodiment, a pair of spaced apart support members are formed in the recess in place of the cup receptacle supports.

Abstract: A battery retainer apparatus for securing batteries in high performance boats, automobiles, trucks, and other vehicles which are subject to severe shocks. The retainer includes a rectangular non-metallic tray mounted to the vehicles by mounting pads in each corner. The mounting pads are directly connected to walls of the tray by upwardly extending tubes in each corner thereof. A battery is held in the tray by means of either a strap or by bolts.

Abstract: A device is provided for the screwless mounting of at least one accessory in a cutout of a vehicle support structure. The screwless mounting device includes a locking element, a base body, a connecting device and a fastening element which can be moved between an insertion position and a fastening position. In the insertion position, the locking element and the fastening element can be pushed through the recess of the accessory until the base body rests against the visible side of the accessory. In the fastening position, the fastening element can be brought to rest against the back of the accessory in order to fix the device in place in the accessory. The connecting device is provided between the fastening element and the base body for the selective fixation of the fastening element in the fastened position.

Abstract: A compliant mirror mounting system for holding a mirror may comprise a frame having first, second, and third mounting points thereon for receiving the mirror. The first, second, and third mounting points of the frame define a mounting plane containing an X-axis and a Y-axis of an orthogonal X-Y-Z coordinate system, wherein the first and second mounting points are located a spaced distance part along the X-axis. A first spring clip positioned adjacent the first mounting point holds the mirror against the first mounting point and forms a first Y-axis barrier which prevents a first end of the mirror from moving along the Y-axis by a distance that exceeds a Y-axis tolerance. A second spring clip positioned adjacent the second mounting point holds the mirror against the second mounting point and forms a second Y-axis barrier which prevents a second end of the mirror from moving along the Y-axis by a distance that exceeds the Y-axis tolerance.

Abstract: A device is provided for supporting an accessory in an artificial bathing water enclosure. The device includes a buoyant base for supporting the accessory. An anchoring means anchors the base to a side wall of the bathing water enclosure. The base either floats freely, or is pulled down somewhat while still protruding from the top water surface. The preferred anchoring means includes one or more suction cups attached to the side walls of the enclosure. The preferred anchoring means maintains the base upright. It includes a boss and a holder that are slidable with respect to each other. At least two suction cups hold the boss attached to the side wall, while the holder is attached to the base, and slides up and down as the base moves up and down. The holder has threads for receiving matingly threads of a complementary base.

Abstract: A displayer panel system comprises a universal hinge that can be used for top, middle, and bottom, and either left and right. The hinge has a parallelogramatical post that sticks out and bears the weight of a frame on a plastic wedge shaped disk attached to the frame bosses. A set of pins through the bosses, the plastic wedges, and the posts allow the frame to swing left and right out from a storage rack column. A double-pronged hook allows left or right corner face attachment of the hinge to slots in the storage rack column.
