Abstract: A sealable bag construction to facilitate the evacuation of excess air that would otherwise be trapped within the sealable bag upon closure. The construction comprises incorporating a blocking structure into the sealable bag by, for instance, attaching, integrally or otherwise, a spacer to material near the opening of a sealable bag, including resealable bags, such that an obstructing portion of the spacer may be temporarily placed in the opening of the bag to prevent the complete sealing thereof, or, in lieu of the spacer, a partial deformation of the sealing means for the sealable bag wherein the deformation is located to provide a temporary stop near, but not at, one end of the opening of the sealable bag. Excess air that would otherwise remain within the bag may thereby be evacuated before the obstructing portion of the spacer is removed (or the deformation is pushed by) and the opening completely sealed.

Abstract: A medical device package includes a body with at least one chamber therein, a proximal end and a distal end. The medical device package also includes at least one deformable projection within the chamber(s). Furthermore, the deformable projection is configured to deform resiliently upon contact with a medical device during insertion of the medical device into the chamber and, thereby, removably retain the medical device within the chamber.

Abstract: A tray system, comprising one or more retaining portions for a food container, the one or more retaining portions receiving and securely holding fitted non-slip inserts. The tray system includes one or more feet which are of a depth at least equal to deepest recessed retaining portion of the tray. The feet may allow the tray to sit stably on a flat surface. The tray may have a non-slip removable insert inserted into the retaining portion which may be fitted to the bottom of the retaining portion and may maintain grip on serving tray and food container.

Abstract: A hair roots coloring kit includes a plurality of kit components carried in a drawstring bag for mixing and applying standard hair coloring materials to the uncolored outgrown roots of a user's hair. One or more measuring devices such as a measuring cup, a syringe, or an eyedropper are used for measuring the hair coloring materials to produce a matching color to previously colored hair shafts of the hair. A reusable mixing bowl or a plurality of disposable mixing bowls hold the measured hair coloring materials. A reusable stirring stick or a plurality of disposable stirring sticks are provided for mixing together the measured hair coloring materials in the mixing bowl. An applicator brush is used for applying the mixed matching color of hair coloring composition to the uncolored hair roots. A pair of protective gloves are provided to protect the user's hands during application of the hair coloring composition to the hair roots. A cleaning brush is used to aid in cleaning the kit components following use.

Abstract: A case for accommodating a disc-shaped recording medium such as CD or DVD is disclosed. The case included a front lid opened and closed and a body formed with a central button and a holder including an annular piece formed with an engagement groove for engaging a fixing hole of the disc-shaped recording medium with legs. The annular piece is disposed around the button and the holder further includes a spring portion. A force acting so that an upper side of the disc-shaped recording medium is pressed such that the recording medium is depressed and rendered against a force acting so that the button is pushed upward via a second hinge by the spring portion. As a result, the button is prevented from being pushed over its toggle dead point and the disc-shaped recording medium is re-fixed to the annular piece by reduction and/or elimination of the external force.

Abstract: A container package assembly comprises a first support member and a second support member, each of which have a front side, a back side, a right side and a left side. The support members being arranged along a common plane wherein one of the sides of the first support member is immediately adjacent to one of the sides of the second support member. Each of the support members further comprise at least one wall defining at least a portion of at least one of the front side, back side, right side and left side of the first support member and second support member. Containers are positioned on the support surface of the first support member and the second support member. A top pad is positioned on top of the containers and extends over at least a portion of each of the containers. The support members, the containers and the top pad comprise an assembly which is at least partially encapsulated by a film.

Abstract: A device and method for removing and replacing a needle-protecting cover associated with an injection apparatus, the device comprising a housing, a receptacle in the housing for accommodating the injection apparatus, and a holding mechanism, wherein the receptacle is movable in the housing and, in a first position of the receptacle, the holding mechanism is in a releasing position and, in a second position of the receptacle, the holding mechanism is in a holding position.

Abstract: A portable tote is provided which has flexible, insulating walls to insulate the contents of the tote from the environment and maintain e.g., a reduced temperature of its contents. The tote is configured to receive a beverage box, in particular, an elongated twelve pack box. An end wall access flap provides selective access to the contents of the tote, such as the twelve ounce beverage cans contained in the beverage box. An asymmetric handle strap can be used to support the tote in a stable manner.

Abstract: A lockable media storage box and lock and key combination includes a box having a base and a lid hingedly connected to the base and movable between opened and closed positions. A locking mechanism is movable between locked and unlocked positions to lock and unlock the container. The lock includes lock pins that slide through aligned lock holes in the base and the lid.

Abstract: A bale of elastomer composite is formed of elastomer and filler, the bale having a void volume of at least 3%. In another aspect, a container is provided, at least a portion of the container being occupied by elastomer composite pieces of elastomer and filler, wherein the occupied portion of the container has a void volume of at least 3%.

Abstract: A razor blade holder includes a slotted housing for removably retaining a razor blade therewithin. The housing accommodates at least one magnet. The housing is used conjointly with a keeper having a magnet affixed thereto. The housing and keeper, in use, sandwich a portion of a garment therebetween to provide easy and safe access to a razor blade. The magnets used herein are preferably neodymium magnets. Also, the present invention is particularly adapted for use with a single edge razor.

The pack includes a flexible film material wherein the body of the pack has a first thickness and overlapping portions of film material providing the orifice have second and third thicknesses. Abstract: A storable gas inflation/evacuation system and sealing system. The systems are removably connectible to a proximal portion of a guidewire assembly which has an occlusive balloon at a distal portion. The invention includes provision for indicating the presence of oxygen which is undesirable. The storable aspect concerns a sealable container isolating systems components from ambient atmosphere and an oxygen-sensitive material located within the sealable container. The oxygen-sensitive material is initially inactive but activated by exposure to radiation so as to visually change in response to post-radiation oxygen exposure.

Abstract: A storage container for housing drill bits can include a front housing portion and a rear housing portion. The front and rear housing portions can be pivotally connected through a hinge for moving between open and closed positions. The front and rear housing portions can define a body cavity therebetween in the closed position. A front bit holder can be pivotally connected to the hinge and lie adjacent to the front housing portion. A rear bit holder can be pivotally connected to the hinge and lie adjacent the rear housing portion. An intermediate bit holder can be pivotally connected to the hinge and lie between the front and rear bit holder.

Abstract: Packaging units for use with elongate medical devices such as catheters. An example packaging unit includes a mounting card into which a number of tabs are cut at predetermined angles and shapes. At least some of the tabs are provided in large tab/small tab pairs. The angle and size combination provides for securing the elongate medical device to the card, while reducing trauma experienced by the device during removal from the card. Also, a double tab system is provided in the packaging unit for receiving a hub and strain relief to hold those parts securely. The card may be scored along at least a first side such that, prior to placing a sterile barrier, such as a plastic wrapping or envelope, around the mounting card to sterilely seal a device therein, the card may be bent along the scoring line to lift the sterile barrier off of a surface of the mounting card.

A single blank sheet has first and second opposing side edges and first, second, and third score lines that are parallel to the first and second opposing side edges. The opposing side edges and score lines delimit a back panel, first and second intermediate panels, and a top panel having at least one blister receiving pocket. The first intermediate panel is folded onto the back panel about the first score line. The second intermediate panel is folded onto the first intermediate panel about the second score line. The top panel is folded onto the second intermediate panel about the third score line. A cavity through which the article passes is defined at least by the first and second intermediate panels. The back panel includes a tear away panel positioned remote from an outer periphery of the package.
