  • Patent number: 11544647
Abstract: A computing device includes a processor and associated memory. The processor is configured to execute a personal information management service stored in memory to send a first calendar entry for display on a calendar interface for a user. The first calendar entry is for a first account of the user of a first domain. The processor sends a second calendar entry for display on the calendar interface. The second calendar entry is for a calendar of a second account of the user of a second domain. The processor receives a request for an availability of the user from a requesting user having a third account of the first domain. In response to the request, the processor sends to the requesting user the first calendar entry including first calendar entry details, and the second calendar entry without second calendar entry details.

  • Patent number: 11531940
Abstract: Computing device state or activity based task reminders and automatic tracking of statuses of task-related activities are provided. Users are enabled to create reminders that are triggered based on a device state of the user's device or activity signals from the operating system, an application, or a user file. The status of a task item can be inferred from signals collected from one or more sources. The signals provide information associated with tasks that the user performs in various life events. Machine learning, statistical analysis, behavioral analytics, and data mining techniques are applied to the signals, and the user's activities are mapped to task items that the user has created. An inferred status of a task activity can be shared with other systems, or can be used for a variety of functions (e.g., to automatically update the user's task list, or to remind the user of an uncompleted task item).

  • Patent number: 11526421
Abstract: A dynamic experimentation evaluation system provides a framework in which a continuous stream of metric data is monitored to establish a causal relationship between changes in a software program and the effect of user-observable behavior. In one aspect, an A/B test is performed continuously on a stream of metric data representing the usage of a control version of software product and the usage of a treatment version of the software product. A sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) is used as the test statistic to determine when to terminate the test and produce results within a specific confidence interval and controlled error rate.

  • Patent number: 11501219
Abstract: A system and method are provided for connecting individuals for accompanied transportation. A method includes receiving input from a traveller, including transportation parameters, receiving input from a pre-authorised companion, including transportation parameters, and executes a transportation optimisation step including comparing transportation parameters and an assessment of one or more safety related parameters. The method then presents one or more optimised transportation proposal for acceptance by the traveller. Upon registering traveller selections and acceptance of the transportation proposal, the method notifies the traveller and selected companion and provides to the traveller or companion verification means prior to or at the accepted meeting time to enable verification of identities of the traveller or companion upon meeting.

  • Patent number: 11494781
Abstract: Methods and systems for buyback provisioning. A risk level for each of a plurality of items at risk of losing market value is computed and the plurality of items at risk of losing market value are differentiated based on the corresponding risk levels. An identity of candidate substitute items is learned by communicating with a distribution system and one or more of the candidate substitute items to exchange for one of the plurality of items are identified based on one or more contextual factors. An exchange of the item and at least one of the candidate substitute items is facilitated, the facilitating comprising highlighting the item on a graphical user interface to indicate that the item is losing value or is at risk of losing value.

  • Patent number: 11481713
Abstract: Driving behavior for a particular driver may be gathered and analyzed over a time period, such as a year or a duration of the driver's employment at a particular employer. The driving behavior is received by a server from a positioning device as multiple streams of position data at different time stretches throughout the time period, each stream of position data associated with a route of a plurality of routes driven by at least one vehicle. The server generates speed data from the streams of position data and compares the speed data to retrieved speed limit data for those routes. The server generates a report with at least a speeding percentage value corresponding to how often the driver was speeding while driving during the time period. The report is then sent to the driver's computing device.

  • Patent number: 11481712
Abstract: A method of determining a Trac score representing an individual's future employment behavior using past and present employment behavior that are unrelated to skills and job match within a job and across multiple jobs of an individual when combined with public and available external records. A method employing a Trac score calculation system comprises at least one processor to execute computer program instructions for obtaining one or more ratings from one or more users through one or more user devices connected to the Trac score calculation system that assigns the credibility to the ratings. A combination of the Trac sub-score obtained by accumulating the ratings weighted by estimated credibility of each rating, and Adjustment sub-score obtained by processing available external records in public and private forms, creates a Trac score which is a numerical and reflects an aggregation of available data weighted by what is believed to affect the employment behavior.

  • Patent number: 11461795
Abstract: A method and system for detection, classification and prediction of user behavior trends using correspondence analysis is disclosed. The methods and systems reduce the n-dimensional feature space to a lower dimensional space for easy processing, improved quality of emerging clusters and superior prediction accuracies. Further, the method applies the correspondence analysis so that each user is assigned with a new coordinate in the lower dimension, which maintains a similarity, difference and the relationship between the variables. Once the correspondence analysis is completed, clustering or grouping of the coordinates based on the similar trends of the users is performed. Further, unlabeled cluster members are assigned class membership proportional to the labeled samples in the cluster. Finally, the method predicts the future actions of the users based on the past trends that are observed from the labeled clusters.

  • Patent number: 11455587
Abstract: Techniques for risk evaluation include receiving, from a requesting entity, a request for monitoring target entities specifying a first identifier associated with each target entity and target entity information. The system generates a second identifier and a third identifier for each target entity and stores a mapping of the second identifiers to the first identifiers and the third identifiers, preventing the second identifiers from being provided to the requesting entity. The system monitors a periodically updated data set and determines risk metrics for the target entities, comparing each risk metric to a threshold value to identify target entities whose risk data indicates an insider threat. The system generates a third identifier for the identified target entities and provides the third identifiers to the requesting entity. Responsive to a request for a corresponding first identifier, the system identifies and provides the first and third identifiers to the requesting entity.

  • Patent number: 11443331
Abstract: In a method for monitoring a tracked parameter for a set of targets, a first methodology is applied during a current time interval to acquire observations of the tracked parameter for a selected sub-set of the set of targets. A second methodology is applied during the current time interval to acquire observations of the tracked parameter for at least those targets that are not in the selected sub-set of the set of targets. A variance forecast is generated for an upcoming time interval for each target based on a current variance for the target and on either observations acquired using the first methodology or using the second methodology. The selected sub-set of the set of targets is updated for the upcoming time interval to maximize an aggregation of variance forecasts over the updated selected sub-set of the set of targets.

  • Patent number: 11403580
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes assigning an auditor weight to each user of a plurality of users. A plurality of audit data is received from the plurality of users, where each audit data is associated with a respective user and includes a set of user ratings for an audit. Final ratings are generated for the audit, with a respective final rating for each item in the audit. Generating the final rating of a first item in the audit includes identifying, in the audit data, user ratings for the first item. The user ratings for the first item include a respective user rating of the first item from each user. Generating the final rating of a first item further includes calculating the final rating of the first item based on a weighted combination of the plurality of user ratings for the first item, according to the respective auditor weight of each user.
